It's such a nice place to take your family. It has been hot in the coming days and the water was amazing to be In. Amazing place to do barbecue as well

Pretty typical RV park but on the expensive side. The full hookup sites are bare, there isn't a single tree or bush between any of the lake view spots. The tent/no hookup spots are all covered with trees and much prettier. It was so hot and with no shade and no easy-ups allowed it was a little bit of a bummer. The lake is far, you have to drive the dirt roads a few mins to get there but it's pretty cool to pull up right to the waterline.Hoover Dam is just around the corner which was great!

Wonderful RV park right on Lake Mead! Friendly staff. No shade, but that's the desert. Gorgeous views overlooking the lake. Clean laundry area, but working the machines is COMPLICATED. Clean bathrooms and showers. No pool. I don't have a toad, so it took me about 25 minutes to walk to the lake- longer than it looks. Still, amazing place to go. Dog friendly, as are parts of the lake. Highly recommend taking a flashlight and going for an evening swim in the lake under the stars. Great experience and would return for sure.

It's a decent campground, nothing fancy. Did a lake view spot, sites are nice and have concrete pad. People were all nice and for the most part clean. Dog poop is everywhere in this park, and the people behind us in a mobile had 4 large dogs that barked day and night, on multiple occasions they were running loose. Helicopters fly overhead all hours of daylight for the Hoover Dam tours. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is not the park. We ended up leaving the park early, the sewer backup up into multiple campsites. The park cleared the clog but never addressed the sewage that was in multiple campsites. So disappointing!

We stayed three night at jolly rogers RV park in the Florida Keys and this place is still cheaper. We are staying a full week here and it is still cheaper and much more chill. Fellow Gypsy's should totally check this place out. Full hookup with a beautiful view of lake mead. ~ Gypsy life!

Positives: *Beautiful lake view sites. Negatives:*Older office lady yelled during check in that my husband's service dog cannot be there. He showed his card out of courtesy and informed her he can be anywhere. (with exceptions that we legally know about). She continued to protest that the dog must wear a vest. Once again, my husband kindly informed her that the ADA does not require that. *The power at our spot did not work. The maintenance man came and said it did. My husband told him to check the other side. (Each spot has 2 boxes). The man was put out and said well if one works then the other does. Once again, my husband told him to check and low and behold it didn't work. We were moved sites. *People are allowed to park numerous cars either sides of their RV which makes for backing in extremely difficult.

My go to, local place for camping. The staff there are always nice and accommodating and that front row view is therapeutic. Highly recommend and wish all campgrounds operated like this!

We were greeted at the entrance by Paul who said after check in he would escort us to our spot. Check was seamless and quick. Office staff was friendly and answered all our questions. We are staying lakeside and our spot is absolutely beautiful. I never want to leave!

Stayed 4 nights in a motorhome. We were immediately greeted by Paul and then met Marilyn in the office. Check in went great and Paul led us to our site. Two great people. I highly recommend this park and these people should be commended for their friendly service.

The park itself looked nice and seemed to have good accommodations. It's in a lovely spot and the lake view spots, while expensive, are very close to the water with a lovely view. We arrived at the park right before 5, and instead of just taking my receipt and info off the board and going to my spot, I decided to check and see if there was anyone in the office still so I could let them know I arrived and see if they needed anything. I signed one paper and was told I was good to go, and to wait for the "welcome wagon" to show me to my spot, despite having a map and all the info I needed in hand. A man came in a golf cart and stopped and stared at us for a solid minute, not moving or speaking, until my partner asked what was wrong. We were met with "that's not a camper van," in reference to our conversion van, and a lecture about his perception of conversions not counting and being a problem, though MAYBE counting if they had been reclassified. We are not 100% finished with our conversion and don't have it reclassified yet. He said it was a safety issue and took us back inside to talk to the woman at the office. He sternly told her that we did not have a camper van, and stood there until she gave in and told us we would not be allowed to stay the night. When I let them know with the phone reservation nobody had asked what kind of van, I had told them a van and the length, or let me know their policy, the man announced he has no control because he doesn't actually work there and he was a volunteer. We were issued a refund and recommended to dry camp at the NPS campground next door and that there were still spots open earlier that day. I knew the campground to have been booked solid for weeks, she was probably referring to the group campsite which didn't have enough people for, being only two. A quick look around the site as we left showed many people violating at this park the only two signs posted on the office about what kind of RV's and campers were allowed, such as no pop-ups, neither of which applied to us. We booked this for the middle of our trip to use the hookups, so we had to go the rest of our trip with no electricity for cooking or otherwise, since we needed to charge our batteries, had to find dumpsters and potable water for ourselves, and had to forgo a real shower and normal laundry that we needed. If liability, insurance, or safety were the real concern of the park, rather than the volunteer's preferences, why did no one ask my for my credit card, a valid drivers license, or my registration when I checked in? I completed check-in with what COULD have been a stolen van, a revoked license due to a DUI, and a stolen credit card number and a van full of fireworks and gasoline. Is every vehicle inspected for safety? I overheard two people staying at the park discussing issues they were having with their older RV's- one stated that they had had a small electrical fire earlier in the year and they no longer could use the electric in the kitchen. I understand having a policy, but with the popularity of conversion vans staff needs to ask on the phone or verbally state this policy when booking sites. I had never spend the money on an RV park and had no way of knowing this was an issue. The rules should apply to everyone and people violating other policies like no pop-ups should be treated the same way. The man made this a very shaming incident, though he seemed somewhat regretful towards the end. If I had not done the right thing and simply taken my paperwork, I could have stayed the night and gotten everything I needed. Should the man had confessed his status as a volunteer at the beginning, I could have chosen to disregard his negation of my completed check in but I was mislead. Consider doing better.
