Nearly 10hrs to drive here straight. Tired, van full of 6 kids for a baseball tournament. Walk in to pay for our room (mind you we have an 8 room block) and the man and woman at the front desk refuse to use the Amex card of my spouse who booked the room. Her name is on the paperwork. She's on the phone, and offered to FaceTime and send photo of her ID. They say NO. Policy. We offer another card (Mastercard) with a Venmo logo. They say NO. We offer a (Visa) with a Cashapp logo...they say NO! I said why? They said it's online banking I'm like is this 1994? Where are we? I'm trying to GIVE YOU MONEY FOR A SERVICE! I then offer cash...again they said what? NO!!!!!! Absolute trash front desk. I tell them to call the manager...they do, his name is Jeremy Boaz. He says the same thing. So here we are 10 hours from home at a Vegas Baseball Tournament with 6 kids in a van tired who have to be up at 6AM for a baseball game. Not to mention through Vegas Valley Baseball we booked 8 ROOMS ON A ROOM BLOCK PER THE STAY TO PLAY CONTRACT!!!!!!!This is how you treat customers? With an oh well sleep in the van till the spouse shows up? They kept saying it business policy. I said a businesses BOTTOM LINE POLICY IS: WHEN SOMEONE IS TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY TO PAY FOR A SERVICE YOU PROVIDE, YOU TAKE THE MONEY OTHERWISE YOU DO NOT LAST LONG IN BUSINESS!!!!!We are speaking to Vegas Valley baseball to remove them from the contract for the following tournaments and will not be staying here again. What an ABSOLUTE JOKE.

I normally love La Quinta hotels which is why I chose this hotel over the others for a travel ball stay and play tournament. This location however is ran poorly without service in mind. The front desk staff does not know how to take care of guests and/or is not set up for success by having poorly communicated and ridiculous payment policies. They were so nervous about it they were giggling. Here's the issue: After a 9+hr drive excited to check in & pay for the room, the front desk people said they could not and would not take a Venmo Card (Mastercard btw) for payment. Then they also wouldn't take a Cash App Card (Visa). Also no Cash. It had to be an a credit card, but they wouldn't take a spouse's credit card that wasn't physically present. We offered to FaceTime, give copy of driver's license and I'd be willing to stop by in the morning when the flight arrives. Nope. I guess they were going to be okay with the kids sleeping in the van.They also wouldn't take a payment for just the one night so we could resolve this issue in the morning and swap credit cards. They wouldn't allow to do an extra deposit or anything. Just a nope sorry- 'policy'. Both card options (Venmo Mastercard & Cash App Visa) had more than enough to cover the costs + deposit. What do people do who don't want to use credit cards? They say it's policy but not one thing on the reservation or website or terms & conditions state this. Front desk staff just kept saying we don't take "online banking" Every bank is online now!!!.... I'm so frustrated. NEVER STAY HERE. DO NOT SUPPORT A BAD BUSINESS MODEL. Turning away customers is not how you stay in business. We even mentioned we were part of a 8 room block, the whole team was staying there. 20 nights booked- NEVER AGAIN. We will also be making our recommendation for CSTT Sports to remove this hotel from the listing options. Fortunately, we have great teammates and one of them paid using their credit card so our boys could get some rest.

Lacks the Las Vegas bling and that's a nice respite.Location location location is the entire purpose of this place. Location & shuttle to the airport, as I sit here at 3:45 am, having been diverted by Delta and being forced to spend $200 to stay somewhere I can get to a 6am flight, this place saved the day as much as possible.Would I do it again? Only if I had to but it was a totally decent port in a terrible storm.Good bedsClean roomsGreat staff Excellent shuttleThe usual, bad hotel " breakfast" But they have multiple hot beverage options & a waffle maker to go with the usual yogurt, cold cereal, bagels that is the american standard.

I have stayed at this La Quinta many times throughout the years. I have watched it go from a very nice place to a dump. The hallway floors are filthy. I made my reservation in advance and used 6000 points and over $200 to get a room. The day of my arrival I went online to see what it would cost if I just made the reservation that day and the price for the same room was $144. What? I travel with a 12 pound dog so I was placed in a room assigned for dogs. My first reaction upon entering the room was the overwhelming stench of urine (thank goodness I travel with a can of air freshener). Some patches of carpet had been shredded by dog paws no doubt and there were stains on the carpet. The chair is pathetic looking and falling apart. The complementary breakfast is adequate and that was probably the best part of the stay. The staff was friendly. I will never return and I would never recommend this place.

Check in was awesome. The woman checking me in was really sweet, nice & welcoming. And the other lady helped me find some food options because of my dietary restrictions. Plus I was given complimentary water. I and my two kids were very thirsty we had a long day at the airport because our flight was diverted. Everything went well at this hotel except at checkout. The person was rude & racist! He was a total jerk. At 2:35 am he's ignoring me and is on the phone. I told him I'm checking out. I asked if he called for the shuttle. He didn't reply. After asking few times he says wait for the 3am shuttle. Rude and very racist man! And he himself is a foreigner!

Let me start by saying that the rooms upon first entry look nice. I rented the hot tub room for just myself because of working 12 hours a day in the area and wanted to relax.I didn't pay attention to the bedding the first night, I was exhausted and knocked out after using the jacuzzi which did not have a drain plug. I had to call the front desk and have them bring one up.When I woke up this morning and took the blanket off me I noticed a stain on the comforter. I was kinda in a hurry so I forgot to say something toThe front desk when I left for work. I did leave the stained part out in the open soHousekeeping would see it and hopefully change it.After a 12 hour day today I came in and immediately checked the comforter and discovered it hadn't been changed.I spread it open on the floor to check for more stains and OMG it was so nasty.I called the front desk and asked for a manager to come up and see for himself.This SOB comes in and says the stains look fresh to him and are not from a previous guest. I said if you're accusing me and saying it was from me then you gotta be joking. He insisted they were from me which really infuriated me. I wanted to punch him. There was so many stains on it, he even told me I could rub it and see it's fresh. I told him that looks like blood so there's no way I'm touching it.I will never EVER stay here again, he could have just apologized for the inconvenience and left the new comforter and left and that would have been good enough but to accuse me of getting blood or whatever it was on it is just asinine.I told him if it wasn't already late at night (6pm) I would have checked out and went someplace else.I am just beyond flabbergasted and appalled that this guy had the audacity to say the stains were from me. I can't stop SMH over it.

We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend of August 2023. We have been staying here since we have a furbaby and we loved the hotel after our first visit. This is maybe our 3rd or 4th time staying there. The last visit was not great. The hotel is getting older and hasnt been maintained well. The check~in was great but when we entered our room we saw hair on the inside sheet of the bed so we immediately asked to replaced everything and they immediately changed the sheets. The bathtub is disgusting. There is a huge stain all over the tub and my children dont even want to take a shower or want to use or even stand on the tub. The pillows look so used and one of it was too small, maybe half the size of the standard pillow. The other one is as hard as a rock that is why my daughter slept without any pillow. My daughter even asked me if we will stay there on our next trip to Vegas? The hotel needs some care and reno maybe. Im not sure if we will still stay there in the future. The exterior of the hotel still looks ok to me but the room the we stayed was not. Sorry, but I'm just being honest.

The stay started off with a not-so friendly staff member. It took about 15 minutes for her to check me in, and during that time, she just typed on her computer barely looking at me. She spoke to me a few times to ask for car info, a credit card, inform me of a pet fee of 25$ plus tax per night (which there use to not be one), and then hand me my hotel cards. She didn't even tell me where my room was located -- she just wrote the number down. She was about to call the next person over, but i needed to ask her some questions first, which seemed to get her frustrated. I asked her which part of the hotel the room was located, entrances, where the dog area was, where to park for ease, and checkout time. Afterwards, we went up to the room with our dog. The lighting was horrible. Im not sure why it was so dim, but even with all the lights it was hard to see. It was very dusty everywhere and our shower did not work great. The pin wouldnt pull all the way and the shower tub took forever to drain. There was a soaking tub but it looked gross. I also asked when booking for extra towels, but we just had the two. The "do not disturb" sign looked like it was about 3 years old and was falling apart like someone tried to eat it lol The only good things were the fact that they allowed pets, there was a decent pet relief area, its pretty close to a dog park (5 min drive), the room was spacious and free parking. There were also some nice night staff.I probably would try somewhere else next time though. This wasn't that great of an experience, especially for the price we paid.

They only give little tiny bottles of shampoo, fyi. i'm kind mad and kind glad because who knows how dirty the full bottle would be. Rooms are old and dirty. Not very keen on trying their food/coffee.

I can't say enough good things about Kayla, the hotel manager. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating during my stay. I found myself in a tough spot, and without her kindness and willingness to go above and beyond, I would have been stranded. Kayla's genuine care and exceptional customer service made all the difference. Thank you so much for turning a stressful situation into a positive experience!
