La Flor de Michoacan

I literally love elote in a cup and this was one of the best I ever had!I dont speak a lick of Spanish but the lady who helped me was very patient with me and got my order 100% correct despite the language barrier. I also got the coconut agua fresca which was super rich and delicious as well. Definitely would eat here again!

My girlfriend was craving some Mangonada and even though there is probably thirty places on Charleston to get it, La Flor de Michoacan was the place of the day for us! This location is pretty darn massive and not only features all the ice cream and Mexican sweet treats you could possibly be craving, but it also features a cash only area where you can grab some actual food! I'm a simple man and since I'm not a huge fan of Mangonada (don't judge me, I did try it!) I was glued to the ice cream area where they offer a ton of different flavours to choose from. After figuring out I wanted to go with chocolate chip and mint chocolate chip (again, stop judging me) I settled on a cone with chocolate and sprinkles because who wouldn't pair the ice cream with a cool cone? The ice cream itself wasn't anything special, basically just some basic but good ice cream.Overall, I enjoyed my experience at La Flor de Michoacan and will absolutely be coming back in the future. I work pretty close to this place so I look forward to coming back and grabbing some snacks and especially the pre-made pops close to the entrance. With solid ice cream and solid pricing, this place is pretty dang solid if you ask me.

My friends and I came in after we had lunch. We wanted ice cream and after looking through Yelp for what was around the area we stumbled upon this place. It's located in a relatively small plaza, but we had no trouble finding parking. I was surprised at how big this ice cream shop was because on the outside it looked small. They are currently going through renovations, so they'll be expanding it even bigger! [Service] Upon entering we saw all the staff wearing masks and gloves. All covid protocols were being followed. I was surprised to see that they had so much more to offer than just ice cream. They had crepes, elote, tortas, chamango, and so much more! The staff were friendly and helpful. They were patient with us while we sampled the flavors of ice cream we wanted. There was an extensive selection of ice cream that it was hard to choose what flavor to get. I ultimately went with the pistachio flavor. [Desert] I don't really have much to say here because it's ice cream and you can never go wrong with ice cream lol. The flavor I had was delicious. My friends all got different flavors and they were all great as well! If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stop by this place. I want to try some of the pastries and all the other goodies they have to offer. Amazing selection of ice cream, friendly staff, and clean tables. 4 stars!

Came to the Charleston location ... got there at 8:55 and doors were already locked. If you're going to close early how about put it on Google "closing at 8:55pm" so people don't try to make it in time for something QUICK ... smh

Came here twice in one week that's how obsessed I am. I have a pregnant best friend and she had some pregnancy crazies for Chamango. This place is actually pretty close to my home and I've had it bookmarked forever but never been. It's in a rough side of town too if you aren't looking for it you will miss it. When we came it was pretty dead, I was nervous it was going to be busy due to the reviews. Once we came in we got helped right away and we were able to taste/sample anything we wanted. They had so many different ice cream flavors, juices, ice cream bars, and even food. We both got Chamango and this comes with 1 scoop of ice cream. We got the Piña which was perfect! It was a big size cup with loads of mangos. I love how we were able to sample as much as we want. Their juices were awesome they had some random flavors that you would think were very odd but were incredibly refreshing. I must come back and try the food

This place is super authentic and has amazing seating areas! The ambiance is great for a fun hang out with friends and family. I love the nostalgic atmosphere with their El Chavo decor and Spanish Pop from the early 2000s! Arizbeth was friendly and accommodating. Come here for high quality food!!!! I will be coming back for sure

My husband said this was the best coconut ice cream he's ever had. I had pistachio and it was really good!

Great service. The food was great and they serve you fast. The price was responsible. I would definitely recommend.
