Kingman Craft House

Everytime I visit family and friends in Kingman we make it a point to check out any new local food spots. We've been waiting for the Craft House to open as it took over the spot of another local restaurant that we enjoyed and we've heard that it's owned by another local business owner with another successful food spot. My friend and I rolled in around noon on a Friday and the place was hopping. We sat at the bar and when the bartender had a chance to breathe she grabbed our drink order. I felt bad because the place was slammed and she was by herself behind the bar. She did hey best to keep up but I felt like all she did was apologize to everyone for being so behind. We were understanding but it did take a while to get a menu so we could place a food order. I ordered the garlic burger and my friend ordered the smash burger. Our food came out in a fairly reasonable amount of time and was pretty decent. I'll be honest, my favorite part of my meal was the fries. They were crispy and flavorful and fluffy, perfect fries. My burger on the hand was just okay. It didn't have much of a garlic flavor, was slightly undercooked for what I ordered, and at one point I got a mouthful of bitter arugula which had been clumped up in one spot that was unpleasant. My friend commented that she enjoyed her burger but her side of Mac and cheese stole the show. She said she could tell it was homemade and it was very flavorful.The inside of this spot is very clean and has lots of natural light during the day and good overhead lighting. I enjoyed the music they were playing and it wasn't too loud, which is great for holding conversation. Overall the feedback I have for this business is to keep working out the kinks. They haven't been open long so there's going to be a few kinks in the system and that's okay. Give your bar a second tender during lunch hour and maybe add some more garlic to your garlic burger.For folks who are considering stopping in for lunch on their break from work, I'd wait a little bit for this crew to get their feet under them. We were there for two hours total and most of that was spent waiting for one thing or another. That being said, we'll definitely be back in the future to see how they improve over time. Give them some grace folks, they just opened and are still figuring things out. I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

Traveling through kingman, found this place. GREAT beer selection, wine was relatively cheap and drinkable. Had the fish tacos--excellent. Crunchy, full of flavor, including jalapenos, spicy mayo, cabbage, pickled onions, crispy battered fish. Had carrot cake for dessert, which was a bit dry, but full of raisins and nuts and great flavor. We would definitely go back if we lived here.

Staff makes you feel welcomed. Outstanding food. Great selection of a variety menu options. Well trained bartenders. Making Craft cocktails.

Food has always been good but all three times I've gone the service has been slow and it's not even very busy. Sitting at the table with empty cups, nobody checking in, waiting for ten minutes to get the check.

Service was great and drink prices were wonderful as well as super yummy. Unfortunately both our burgers were very over cooked and seemed like they'd been under the warmer possibly too long. Definitely a let down for a $17 burger. So much potential especially for their drink menu but hoping next time is better. The bbq brisket was good as well as the beans and Mac and cheese

The food is incredible with fun knowledgeable servers. Our cool server (Nate?) helped consult my 11 year old son on how he may like his steak cooked and he *loved* how his steak came out. 10/10

My friend and I tried this place. The service as soon as you walk in is excellent. The hostess immediately seated us. Our waitress, Adriana, was immediately over to take drink orders. The atmosphere is lively, with music playing on the speakers. Since it was Friday, we both ordered the fish plates. I should have ordered the two-piece instead of the three-piece plate. The fish were huge. They were crispy and delicious. The hostess kept checking on us, taking empty dishes off the table and asking if we needed anything. Adriana our waitress was very nice and friendly. Kingman has been needing a place like this. Makes you feel like you are special. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kingman Craft House. This will be one of my favorite places to eat now. Try it and I guarantee you will not leave hungry or dissatisfied. Thank Kingman Craft House.

Best meal I ever had? Nope. Let's face it, Kingman is not exactly a destination spot. We were on the road and Kingman sounded like a reasonable place to stop for the night. We wanted something other than chain fast food. This was fun and unexpectedly good. We were greeted right away and the staff was cheerful and helpful. The spinach/artichoke dip was NOT pre-made and was a wonderful treat. Both of the burgers were seasoned nicely and absolutely on point. The beer selection was great, as well, and we enjoyed some localish offering. We could tell that this was a place that the locals "knew" about.If you find yourself in Kingman, grab a meal here and forgo the Big Mac and soda thing!

Food was good, portions on smaller size for the price. Can not be in a hurry. Took over 20 minutes just to get a drink. And 30 more to get a second one. Good took over an hour and 15 min.Very loud atmosphere so be warned.

My take on the Kingman Craft House:We went there for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and the server was very polite. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the place was airy comfortable. Yes, we waited a bit for the food, but it wasn't too bad. The hamburgers were fantastic. The best fries EVER, seasoned not salted. The only 4 star was the ice-tea, not as strong as could be and not enough ice, and if that's the only thing I have to complain about, well.......... 'nuff said. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food. We will most definitely go back soon. Yes, they're still not open on Monday & Tuesday, and yes, some items are not available (yet). All in all, I'd give it 9 stars!
