It was a bit of a drive for us, but we had been wanting to check it out for a while. This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant was quite charming, with plenty of parking available. The interior was cozy and nicely decorated. The food was overall very good--while the blood clams were just okay, everything else we ordered was well-prepared and delicious. The service was decent, though nothing exceptional. Overall, it was a nice experience!

***1st Time Experience***Tried the PANANG CURRY WITH CHICKEN (recommend ordering with shrimp instead), MOK PA (steamed catfish) with sticky rice, LAO SAUSAGE (pork sausage) and Thai tea. Server was patient with us when trying to figure out what to order since we weren't too familiar with thai food. Atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. Sticky rice was harder than sticky. Might be because we arrived 1hr before closing and we got the last of their batch. But would try this place again earlier in the day!!!

On our most recent Las Vegas trip, we were craving Thai and found this spot on Yelp and the reviews are accurate! Even though a bit off the strip, this mom & pop shop was well worth the visit and satisfied all our cravings. The decor inside is cute and there are booth seatings along with middle tables that can be combined for large groups. The staff was extremely friendly and food came out quickly. Spice level is accurate here, the real Thai/Lao spice! We got a 3/5 and it brought the heat. Price is extremely reasonable as well. As a group of 6 we ordered family-style. My must orders again would be: + Tum jumpa Thai platter - great platter of various apps, cold meats, and fresh papaya salad in the center. Very delicious and easy to share.+ Kao soy Rib eye - broth was creamy and rich. The ribeye was so tender!! The egg noodles were spring as well. Really delicious all around. + Tom Kah Soup - a classic and they do it very well here. I like the cherry tomatoes than slice ones - I feel like they maintain their juice and ripeness more.

My friends and I visited Jumpa because we saw the good reviews. It's in a random strip mall, so there's plenty of parking. Upon entering we were greeted with a very strong incense smell, which is not my favorite. I had the Thai version kha soi and my friend had the Laos version. My other friend had the pad Thai. All the food was really flavorful and tasty. My only complaint was the service. It was realllly slow and there was only one other table dining. I probably wouldn't return anytime soon since there are so many other places to try in Vegas, but if I were a local I could imagine eating here again.

Solid spot for Lao food! Came here for lunch and it hit the spot.[Raw beef laab]I was happy to see this on the menu! I love to eat it bitter too. It was probably too sweet for my liking but I was still able to enjoy it. The meat was fresh and it tasted good with sticky rice. It comes with fresh veggies too.[Pad Thai]A solid pad thai after some lime juice and dried chili flakes. Nice balance of sweet, sour, and salty.[Lao sausage]Delicious and cooked well. Nice chunks of fat and good flavor. Comes with a pepper sauce.

Great service & beautiful interior. So happy to find a spot that makes such an amazing nam khao! Rice was the perfect crisp and was such a nice freshness and tanginess. Also enjoyed the kao piak, which is perfect when you're craving a light chicken noodle soup. Would return to try more of their dishes!

My fiance and I decided to try this spot after an appointment in the area. My fiance started with the gyozas, which he said had good flavor. For our entrees, I ordered the mixed vegetables with tofu and my fiance ordered the pad see eww with chicken. We both really enjoyed our entrees and found the spice levels to be perfect. Service was good and the restaurant had a nice charm. Definitely a spot to check out if in the area.

Cute decor and everything was delicious! Faves: pork jerky, Thai tea, pad see ew. Papaya salad platter was good but lao style sauce was A bit too salty, will try Thai next time. The lemongrass sausage was good, the pink one was too sour. Too much noodles and not enough papaya.

It's been 2 yrs since we last ate here (my goodness how time flies!). We came back with some friends today and this place still ROCKS! The food presentations are very creative and fun to see. The food is still solidly good, if not even better than what I remembered. The flavors are on point and of course it can't be 100% authentically flavored since it has to also accommodate the Western pallets (ie non Lao folks, lol). That said, It is 90% on point as far as deliciousness (coming from a bunch of Lao folks too).We ordered loads of various entrees and they all were DELICIOUS. It's good to see our returned visit was a positive one. Most of the time when you return to a restaurant, the food is not as good as you remembered but not here! We will come back again, hopefully the next time is not 2 yrs later! lol (too many different restaurants here in Vegas, so little time and $$! LOL)
