Visited from out of town. Kind and comforting service. Great food and amazing sushi. Highly recommend. Not even 3 party's in here on a Friday night. Place deserves a lot of love. Gus and David were such friendly and personable hosts. Open late til 2AM too!

5 Stars - Amazing Experience at Izakaya Tora!From start to finish, our meal at Izakaya Tora was outstanding. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was incredible. The chicken karaage was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside -- absolutely delicious! The pork bao buns were perfectly soft and packed with flavor, and the drunken noodles were the perfect balance of savory and spicy. The crispy rice had the perfect crunch, and the sushi was fresh and flavorful -- every bite was a treat.Not only was the food exceptional, but our server was also fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance was calm and perfect for a date night, creating the ideal setting for a relaxed and memorable evening. If you're looking for great food and service in a cozy atmosphere, Izakaya Tora is the place to go! Highly recommend!

Great spot for late night dining. Usually, the parking lot is crazy whenever I come to the area. I was here after 10 pm and the lot had a lot more spaces than I thought would be. Service was good. Service was good. David was nice and attentive. Food:Tempura Mushroom Fries Chili Crisp Tofu Pork Belly SkewersSpicy Tuna RollSome pieces of the pork belly was hard however, the flavor was delicious Right amount of salt. The mushroom tempura was a No for me. I didn't like that it was so soft. Not Crispy at all. The spicy Tuna was nice and clean. I enjoyed every bite. Lastly, I enjoyed the chili crisp tofu. The Tofu was regular in texture. I enjoyed dipping it into the chili oil. Seemed like it had schezuan oil.Overall, a great spot and I'll definitely return for late night eats.

Not sure what the hype is about but only thing that stood out was the service. Came in on a Friday around 1710 and there was no one seated...that should've keyed us in to the popularity. We left around 1830 and only 2 other couples were dining in...so that should also key you in on what others really think. Do not get the poke bowl, you'll be disappointed. The crispy rice sushi is just ok...better than the other 2 rolls we had Alligator and can't remember the other one. For the value and Yelp hype, it was very underwhelming. Maybe because I live in socal and lived for a few years on Hawaii and Japan that I'm overly critical, but I can get better sushi in the Lancaster desert of cali. I think the best dish we had were the mushroom fries...very uniquely delicious.

What a treat to find this late night izakaya! One of the nicest service I've ever received and very informative of their menu items (if you have questions). All of the food was incredibly tasty and has a rotating menu/specials, so you can try something new every visit. I will be revisiting Izakaya Tora and will be telling my friends/family when in Vegas!

Came here we were in the mood for some yakitori. It was a mistake-- the meal was extremely disappointing. We tried the sirloin cap, beef tongue, chicken oyster, negi shio thigh, and shishito peppers. They wait to grill all the yakitori before bringing it out so some of it arrives cold. They did however replace some of the skewers, but none were very tasty, and I'm not used to the tongue coming out in a rolled slice like that for yakitori. We also ordered the yellowtail carpaccio which was so-so and some nigiri that wasn't the greatest. The chutoro tasted super old; I spit it out to make sure I didn't get sick. The salmon and unagi were decent, but the scallops were lightly torched which I'm not a fan of.The restaurant seems poorly run. There was no hostess, so some parties had to wait a quite a bit before being greeted and sat. We even saw a party leave because it took too long to be greeted. The server seemed slammed (maybe not enough of staff?). They also didn't have enough menus for each person in our party of 3. And the yakitori seems to have no quality control as it doesn't come out hot. The house sake costs $28. I am told most restaurants charge around $10 for that (fact check that bc I don't really know), but I thought you might want to know.

I have been here twice now and both times were excellent!Not your traditional izakaya, everything has an amazing delicious twist. There's not one dish here I haven't enjoyed. The staff is great, and so helpful, the chef hasn't even sent things to our table. Don't sleep on the fried mushrooms or any of the skewers!Looking forward to bringing more people with me next time!!

I was very hungry the other night after dropping my man at the airport and this is located only 10 mins away.It was 10pm roughly and only 2 tables and 1 bar seat occupied so they were winding down. I initially ordered pick up but figured I'd just dine in. the hostess was quick in the beginning and helpful. I ordered a couple more side since I set down which were miso soup and seaweed salad. The food was good. I noticed some yellowing inside my tuna skewer but figured it was maybe marinade or sauce stain so didn't think more of it. All the flavors were good and not overbearing so I was happy. Fast forward to the next morning, I experienced a loose stole for about 36 hours and it had to be from this meal. I didn't experience pain but def a disruption during the workday. I'd likely not come again but did find everything to taste good.

Get ready, you're going to smell! This place is fantastic for a meal, and the service is outstanding. Must-try dishes include the OSAKA PAPAS BRAVAS, MISO CORB RIBS, CHICKEN KARAAGE, and their YAKITORI. They always have great specials that are definitely worth trying. ENJOY! PS: It can get busy, best to get a reservation & they have free parking!

Absolutely love this place. The environment was great and so were the staff. They're very knowledgeable, quirky, and sweet. The meals were beautifully assembled, and they all tasted AMAZING! After 9 PM, they start having happy hour-- the papas bravas is on there, and it's one of my favs. It has to be because one of my fav fruits is Yuzu, and they drizzle it in some kind of yuzu sauce. It's so flavorful that I went there the next night just to get them lol Other items I've tried were the salmon hand rolls, super salmon specialty roll, and the spicy tuna crispy rice. The one factor these items have in common-- crispiness (my fav texture in food). Perfectly crispy and flavorful.I also tried the Pork & Peaches which I thought sounded sooooo weird, like come on.. that's such a strange combination, right? But oddly enough, the combination does work-- the peaches were crisp & sweet enough to cut through the hearty pork texture & flavor. I've tried many other items, but the one thing I'm curious about is the torikawa chips. Oh also the Ohtani burger! All in all, a great place to experience good food and appreciate the staff esp the head chef/owner. Ty, SJ!
