Hubby's family has German roots so whenever we get together, we go to at least one German place. Hofbrauhaus was just down the street from where we were staying and it's hard to miss. The interior is what you would expect, with high ceilings, communal bench seating, and live music. We got the family platter to share, which includes 3 different kinds of sausages, pot roast, schnitzel, grilled chicken, spaetzle, red cabbage, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and German potato salad. It's a pretty big spread! The beer was kinda meh though.

So of the worst facsimile of German food I've ever had. My mom was from Vienna and we grew up on homemade dishes. Nothing about the meal was appealing. Sausages were tasteless, mashed potatoes were either boxed or leftover. Kraut had been overboiled and was mushy. Potato pancakes were way too thin and overpriced. Rye bread was advertised as German but it was awful. I cannot recommend for the food. Decor is fun and I am sure evenings could be lively with a band. Oh, and no substitutions. You will eat what we give you! Schweinehund!A bit too pricey for what you get. $3.50 for a single slice of stale rye bread.Service was good and our waiter, Paul, was very attentive and friendly.

The homemade spätzle hit the spot. I just wish my dish came with more! The jägerschnitzle was big enough to split with my boyfriend, but I wish the noodle to meat ratio was a little better. Our party of 8 had a 5pm reservation, but we weren't seated until 10 after. It gets busy on the weekends! Live music, football on, HUGE tables to accommodate large parties.Lots of loud fun and liter beers, very reminiscent of Germany.Note:-They will not split large party bills by item, so you will all pay equally.-They don't have many beer options but they are all tasty.-Dont let them bully you into getting a full liter. I should have done a half. The waiter makes a good salesman.-They will do the absolute most if it's your birthday.

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is such a fun and lively spot! The atmosphere feels just like the original in Germany, with long communal tables, festive decor, and a great sense of camaraderie. The live entertainment was fantastic-traditional music and energetic vibes made the whole experience unforgettable. The food was delicious and authentic! Pair everything with a cold stein of their signature beer, and you're in for a great time.If you're looking for a taste of Germany with plenty of fun and energy, this is the place to be!

Always fun this loud and sometimes painful (only if you ask) restaurant serves up classic German fare and great beers perfect for a group night out. Where to take a group of adults in Las Vegas that's NOT on the strip for a solid, good time and a reasonable price? Make reservations for Hafbräuhaus. Similarly models after the original Munich location with shared bench seating, high ceilings, and outside seating all within earshot of the live music. Order the (178) SAUSAGE TOWER and a liter of beer then work your way through the menu. Don't know what Grillhendl is? No problem. The wait staff will guide you and make recommendations. I tend to forget what I like but after a few words our server was quick to remind me it's the (376) PANIERTES JAGERSCHNITZEL $31. Another liter of Original lager and it's time for shots. Gather your group for shots on a ski or individually with a swift and stinking spanking. Your friends will get a kick out of the loud crack while you think twice about the decisions you've made in life. So much foodSo much beerSo much fun

This place is definitely fun for groups. It's loud and has a Octoberfest vibe going on. The servers are very attentive and we never waited long for drinks or for anything we requested. The food... well, it's ok....Not my favorite but everything came out hot so that's a plus. A bit like cafeteria food... sorry. All in all we had fun and the beer and cocktails were amazing!

Honestly, I forgot what I got but when I came here with my friend she ordered a meat dish that had some pot roast and that was the winner. We both said we would return for the pot roast and order than instead because the meat was very tender. Our waitress was attentive. They have a section where they have live music playing. You also sit with other people so you can mingle and talk to strangers but this is what make's Octoberfest awesome. Drinks and having a good time! I'll definitely be back and I recommend this place to anyone who has any reservations or hasn't had a chance to give it a try.
