When we walked in and noticed that we were the only people there, we were a bit nervous. Eventually, more people started to trickle in (not more than 25-30). This show was so much fun! I don't know what the young people might think of it, but for me (46 yr old, female) I had a ball! The performers had so much energy and the singing was great. The only thing that I would recommend is that they incorporate even more crown participation (since it's such a small, intimate crowd). I wish they had better marketing, though. More people should know about theses guys! I'll definitely be back!

All of these singers, including the band, are very talented. Singers have a lot of energy and are so up beat. I love how they feature talented singers in the past. My favorite part is when one of the singers started impersonating Tina Turner. They have a meet and great after the show. You get to meet the singers, talk to them and take pictures with them.

Horrifically bad audio mixing tonight at Hitzville's show at The Duomo inside the Rio. The drums and the amp were so loud I couldn't understand 90% of the vocals. I saw Raiding The Rock Vault in the same venue two days ago and the vocals were fine. This was the 5th concert I've been to in this venue and the only show where I couldn't understand even parts of the speaking portion. There was maybe 45 people at the show tonight - a Monday. I can see why there are so few people here despite the good reviews from years past - word of mouth travels fast.My dad played this type of music when I was growing up and I wanted to potentially take my parents to this show if it was good. There's no way I'd spend that money when you can't understand the singers. I was waiting for the show to be over. It it wasn't for the fact I knew the chorus to some of the songs, I would have been totally lost if going by vocals alone. After the show I asked another couple if they could understand the vocals and they said no, and that they were straining to hear the words. The performers and band were high energy and it is really horrible that their hard work and talent was mangled by bad audio. One guy's mic wasn't even turned on when he first walked out and he had to turn it on. ***Regardless of the bad audio, many of the songs in this "Motown Revue" aren't even Motown songs.***A few examples of non-Motown songs that were sung:- The Emotions: Best of My Love. From 1977 for Columbia Records, not Motown.- Al Green: Love and Happiness. From 1973 for London Records, not Motown.- Gladys Knight & The Pips: Love Overboard. From 1987 with Geffen Records, not Motown- Gladys Knight & The Pips: Midnight Train to Georgia. From 1973 with Buddah Records, not Motown.- Cheryl Lynn: Got to be real. From 1978 for Columbia Records not Motown.- The Spinners: I'll be around. From 1972 on Atlantic Records, not Motown.- Ike & Tina Turner: Nutbush City Limits. From 1973 for United Artists, not Motown.I was seated at a table and while the view was great, I cannot recommend this show.Visited: March 2023

I purchased tickets for this show as a gift for my Dad 13 years ago. My Dad and his girlfriend couldn't stop talking about it. Every time I would see that someone on social media had gone to Vegas, they would post the show as a "Must See"!!!When I finally came out with plans to see the show, I noticed that they were not posted at the venue on the Strip. Silly me; I should have searched better, because I still saw people posting about this great show. I'm not sure what the hotel is doing, but it now Hosts a hidden gem. I was a bit nervous, because my cousin had gone to see a Purple Rain review the night before. And he loved it. I was so happy to see that he enjoyed Hitzville better!!!Described in one word...... Energy! Miss Jen Jen has to have a vitamin B drip hidden back there or something. LOL. The major energy drink companies need to sign her up!And you know that I love my comedy! Miss Jen Jen is so funny. This group works well together, appreciative of their Fans, sounds awesome and still a Must See show. At the time of my review posting, I found that Yelp had a discount promo. I'm bringing my God Sister. I did not try any of the food or drinks because I had a post-op appointment the next morning. They do have a walk-up bar. No table service. And after the show, a Italian Cafe is near the Autograph table and a Burger place upstairs. I do not know the Fate of the hotel, but this show is still in full motion. Be sure to like and follow them on social media; so you don't miss them like I did.

Great show and performers are extremely talented . Great value and service. The dinner is good but the show is very cozy as the performers get the crowd involved.

If you're a fan of the Motown music era then you will love this show! The performers are so talented and they represent the beauty of Motown effortlessly. We attended a show that featured the Jackson 5 and a both a men and women's Motown classics group. They sang some really fun hits by legends like Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, and Marvin Gaye. All of the performers were amazing but my family and I really enjoyed their rendition of all of the Jackson 5 classics! We loved how it showcased their grown from when they were little boys up until they were grown and mature young men. The duets were super entertaining and the audience involvement made it even that much more fun. The entire show lasted about 1.5 hours long and we were entertained from beginning to end. There are no pictures or videos allowed during the show, but the cast will allow you take your pictures with them at the end of the show for no additional cost (not sure how people were able to get these lovely pictures of the performers? Ssshhh, I won't tell anyone!). We attended the show at the Hooters Hotel and Casino. Parking was limited and the small counter where you pick up your tickets was severely understaffed. Luckily some of the Hooters Hotel associates stepped in to try to help out, but many people were pissed that they didn't have enough staff there (my parents included). Because they were short staffed at the ticket window, the show ended up starting later to accommodate everyone who had to wait to get their tickets (there were A LOT of people waiting). Once we got our ticket, we made our way to another line to get into the theater, but this line was much shorter. We really enjoyed the show! They have a Yelp check-in offer going on right now where you can get 50% off tickets for a future show. I would definitely come back again to see another Hitzville show, but I'd see if there was another way that I could get my tickets aside from having to wait in the long box office line. Hopefully they'll resolve this next time and the check-in process will go much more smoothly.

Terrific singers, some very Pips-worthy choreography, and a killer, live-music backing band... all playing some of the best music, ever... makes for one of the best shows I've seen, yet. Although I'm local, a couple of friends are visiting from out of town, so we've been doing the tourist thing. Third show in three days, and definitely the best of them. There was some spontaneous dancing going on. It was all lots of fun. A highly-entertaining show. It's at the Rio, these days, and the venue is just right.

Great show and performers!Hubby and I share the love of music and while I was planning for our weekend in Vegas I had planned to buy tickets for this show. We were instead comped by our timeshare membership with tickets to the show! We attended last night! So excited! The performance lasted about 1-hr, 15-mins. The talented singers each went on stage performing classic Motown songs by Smokey Robinson, Temptations, to Mary Wells and Diana Ross & The Supremes. The costumes and choreography were on point too! The groups were not mentioned when the songs are being sang so some songs left me guessing which artist/group performed the hits. But I was able to guess many of them. They also showed scrolling photos of the artists on the flat screens as their songs are being sang but I only recognized some. The venue is nice and intimate and there is really not a bad seat in the house. We didn't upgrade our seats to be seated in the front rows but our seat towards the back was still good. Fun evening!Review #1352

This was not the show we initially went to see but as it turned out I am so glad we ended up seeing this show. All of these people can really sing and dance. I really think they belong in a bigger hotel with a bigger stage. I think they are way to good to be in such a small venue. I 100% recommend you see this show.

For around the same price of a resort fee in a high end casino, "Hitzville" is a deal. And when you add in a Tix 4 Tonight discount, it is an even more solid deal. During our last stay cation it was a solid deal that my family and I took advantage of.My dad and I are music lovers that are fans of the Motown classics that "My Girl", "Stop in the Name of Love," "ABC," "Heatwave," "I Heard It Through the Grapevine," and countless classics. "Hitzville" seemed like the perfect choice to dance to the Motown classics."Hitzville" is a spin on Hitsville the original Motown Headquarters and current Motown Museum. 2043 miles southwest of Hitsville is the V Theater in the back of the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. This is where "Hitzville" performs a 75 minute show most days of the week at 5:30 pm.We found out about "Hitzville" in Tix 4 Tonight. Each ticket saved us about the price of parking at the MGM Grand for a night. The way it works with Tix 4 Tonight is that you have to bring the stub to the V Theater anytime before the show. When we arrived at the V Theater, the agent gave us our assigned seats. From that point, we would return to the V Theater a few hours later.Upon arriving at the V Theater for the 5:30 performance, it was unclear what line to wait on. Fortunately we picked the right line. The nice thing about the V Theater is that it is the secondary theater of the Planet Hollywood Theater. One of the things that made it nice is that there wasn't a metal detector where you have to empty your pockets and bags. I think this made the line flow better. At the end of the line, an Usher walked us to our seats in the back of the theater. From the upper seats that were not the most comfortable, I took in 75 minutes of rock n roll led by the Producer and star of the show Jin Jin Reeves and her talented costars. Jin Jin Reeves transformed into Tina Turner, Diana Ross, and Gladys Knights during different parts of the show. She had the mannerisms down to a T. The men performers transformed into the Temptations, the Ojays, Miracles, Four Tops, and other stars. They had the harmonies down to a T. The highlight of the show was when Jin Jin Reeves in her Diana Ross transformation brought a volunteer from the audience then led him to a chair while singing to him. Concurrent to the 75 minutes of performing, there was a screen showing the original group. In my opinion, the major flaw of the show was that some of the songs, about forty percent were not Motown. Tina Turner, the Ojays, and Gladys Knight were not Motown Artists. This show is "Hitzville The Show-The Motown Review!?" Being a Motown fan, I'd prefer seeing more Motown songs. Maybe include Stevie Wonder, The Commodores, or the Jackson 5. And a minor flaw was that they cut off The Temptations "Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me)" at the best part. Leaving the show was a cluster cocktail. The exit line has a disfunction layout where the performers are selling their DVDs and CDs where people are trying to leave. This delayed us enough for my dad to joke," Wouldn't be funny if you couldn't leave unless you buy a CD." In comparison to the other Las Vegas shows that I have seen "Hitzville" is a good show going for a good price. However, in my opinion there are better Las Vegas shows that I have seen including "The Australian Bee Gees" ," Raiding the Rock Vault," "Purple Reign," "Love," and "Mystere".
