Hitchin' Post Saloon and Steakhouse

Great experience with a friendly staff and nice location. food was fantastic and the dining room was quiet and relaxing. my favorite stop when in Vegas.

Average food, average cost, very nice helpful staff! Would stay again at the RV park plus use the Saloon!

Hubby & I came for their rib eyes & it didn't disappoint especially for the price! This place is definitely not fine dinning however it was definitely a different experience & highly recommended it! The bartender is super nice & friendly! He took our orders made some jokes we loved it! The rib eyes were cooked perfectly! My hubby got the Cajun seasoning & I had the regular both great! Overall if you want a different type of vibe & some cheap good rib eyes check them out!

We had the hitchin post wings and fries, w/ buffalo style sauce. Food came out fresh and warm. Dining area is just to the right of the bar, you wave your hand in front of a sensor to get in, the dining area is clean well taken care of, lightning was good and the decor was a nice touch, I looked at the patio and it is a big space, I didn't personally use it because it was cold and windy. My only gripe is you have to pass the bar area to get to either dining room or patio, and that was smoke filled. Yancy was our waiter, bar tender and cashier. He was personable, informative and friendly.

Amazing food and service on the north side of Las Vegas!! Breakfast served all day. Best chicken fried steak ever! Prices are amazing for this day and age!

Stopped in here for lunch. Wasn't busy. We sat ourselves. No wait to be seated sign. Walked past bar. Was not acknowledged by bartender even though we paused by bar for directions. Sat on patio. Waiter came out took two orders, collected their menus and walked back inside. Did not give us any acknowledgment. Not a bright bulb in the marquee of life. My husband went into bar area to get menus. Did not see any staff. Left and went to Timbers. We always know the Timbers staff is friendly and is efficient.

Took 30 minutes to order two salads. Took over an hour to get them and was disappointed. Watermelon salad with balsamic dressing had promise, but chicken was overcooked and there was so much dressing it was like soup.

The camp is ok for overnight but the people who check every one in looks at your cards like you are a conterfither them look at them so closely it make sure the thickness is enough because they are in a bad part of the town they take for evey to check in like your are a thief down go into the saloon unless you have a knife to cut the smoke it's so bad you even have to buzz the door to get in I was looking at the saloon when I booked online but it gave me a very sour taste for the campgrounds
