Review #10 of 2024Saturday January 20th 2:35 P.M visitMeh...Went to place an order for edamame as that's my son's favorite when we go out to eat. There was a teenage boy behind the register and he wouldn't acknowledge me. A lady that was cooking asked me what I'd like to order and this kid just tantrumed out by sighing loudly and hesitating to punch in my order,then storming off after I paid. The lady was really nice and brought out the order once it was ready. Based on the cashier's display of emotion, no tip. My son enjoyed his food, but I could have gone without the entertainment of the cashier.

Enjoyable experience! I was craving light sushi one afternoon and I was by the West Charleston area near CSN (a community college.) I found a community food plaza and inside was Hinode-Sushi! Hinode-sushi is a small Japanese eatery. I ordered the salmon skin roll and it was delicious! I also loved that this place gave off casual fast-food sushi vibe. Often times I visit a sushi restaurant and it's more of a sit-down and you get served kind of joint but Hinode-sushi is definitely much more laid back! The prices were quite cheap too! The salmon skin roll was only $8!I say this place is a must-try!!!

This place is my go to for take out. I've never dined in so I'm not sure of that experience but the food i order is always reasonably priced, they always have deals going and it's always fresh and delicious!!! Yum

The food is great and reasonably priced. BUT THIS PLACE IS NEVER OPEN DURING POSTED BUSINESS HOURS! They will accept orders placed online, charge your card, email a confirmation of the order received and generate an order pickup time...but the place will be closed with no employees there when you arrive to get your food. I placed an order after 11am on a Wednesday and was given a pickup window of 12:15-12:35. Nobody there, but the neighboring restaurant said they would probably be in after 1pm--despite my scheduled pickup time and the open hour stated as 11am. Finally was able to get my food on a return visit around 1:30pm. Phone calls go to a machine. Ordered again today, a Sunday, but waited to do so until a little after 1pm, figuring to avoid the late arriving frustration of last time, even though again, the posted business hour is opens at 11am. Well, it is nearly 2pm and pickup was scheduled for several minutes ago. But the lights are off and nobody's home. CHANGE YOUR POSTED BUSINESS HOURS TO ACCURATELY REFLECT WHEN EMPLOYEES WILL ACTUALLY BE ON SITE! AND QUIT ACCEPTING ORDERS AND CHARGING CARDS AND SENDING CONFIRMATIONS WITH PICKUP TIMES WHEN NO ONE IS WORKING TO FULFILL THEM! AND TRY ANSWERING THE PHONE ONCE IN AWHILE! **UPDATE** Still no contact from the restaurant itself, but was able to reach their third party ordering service, Menufy, who have informed me that my card will be refunded. Eventually. Meanwhile, the restaurant is still showing as open for business right now at 10:15pm and presumably still taking orders which may or may not be filled--but you can bet that your money will be taken! Negative bonus points for the fact that although Menufy was apparently able to reach someone with the ability to accept a refund request, I myself have not received any contact from the restaurant: no apology, explanation or offer of any compensation for doing this to me TWICE now. Shame on me, I guess. There won't be a third!
