Also known as the "Rainstorm Show", you can watch it rain inside the shops at Miracle Mile. You will momentarily forget you are in the desert!Especially coming from Los Angeles where I don't often experience rain, it was great to come here to listen, feel, and watch it rain! The show starts out with fog and colored lights and is accompanied by lightning as the rain falls from the sky, I mean, ceiling! It's fun to watch and is a free experience.Show times are: Mon-Thur, top of each hour from 10:00AM to 11:00PM; Fri-Sun, every half hour from 10:00AM to 11:00PMI think it is not possible to get drenched, but you will feel sprinkles if you stand close to the ropes. Be careful walking by the area because the nearby flooring might be slippery.I had no idea, but I read this, "Before it became Planet Hollywood, this building was the Aladdin and the shopping mall was the Desert Passage". The rainstorm was a leftover feature from Aladdin. I'm glad this is still an attraction!Be sure to visit the Miracle Mile Shops and see this free falling rain show! Even the parking here is free... so there's no reason to not come experience this for yourself (unless you're from a rainy climate and want to escape rain)!!

This FREE attraction is located in the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood. There are maps of the mall area and it is marked on the map but, it's in the back right wing if you enter off of the casino in front of Panda Express.Monday-Thursday every hour from 10am-11pm and Friday-Sunday every half hour from 10am-11pm. This show lasts about 5 minutes and is definitely geared more towards children but, I enjoyed it as well.It takes place in a pool and is complete with fog rolling across the water, changing colored lights on the edges of the pool, "lighting" from around the tops of the ceiling, sounds of thunder and after the rain storm is slowing to an end there are bird and animal noises that come across the speakers. This was the least busy free attraction that I visited but, I did see it on a Monday afternoon so that may be why.

I absolutely love the rain! When I was searching for things to do and places to see for our trip to Vegas I found the rainstorm!Needless to say, I had to stop by. At first, I was not sure what to think but once it started I loved it. The ceiling is a lovely painted sky filled with clouds. I tried taking video but it does it no justice. Rain falls from the ceiling and there are thunder and lightning. Very cool! The kids loved it!I only wish it lasted longer and that there were seats nearby. I could have stayed there just about all day. If you are in the area I feel it is a must see.

This little hidden gem is free to enjoy just inside the Miracle Mile on the South side near the Harmon Street entrance. Take note: it only goes off every hour - on the hour - for a quick 5 minutes. While the sound effects & lighting are a bit silly nowadays, the rain from way up above actually falling from the ceiling adds an exciting element much like the fog bubbling up from within the water! The best part of this site is that it's right next to Ocean One restaurant & bar, with amazing $5 lunch deals and $3 beers specials as well as an assortment of other wonderful gems! They also have a wall of TVs next to the bar that are connected to work like a giant projection screen. Good entertainment value all around!!

I am not going to bother leaving a lengthy review, because this place is self explanatory (and you can see from photo evidence the quality). This is GREAT. Totally a fun stop in Vegas, especially if you're with kiddos. Kinda Vegas iconic. Just go. You won't be disappointed. :)

It's a fun, remnant of the previous tenant of the building, the Aladdin.A quiet shop is light up and loud'd up by the coming storm... and suddenly it's raining inside the shops... into a pool in the middle. It's a fun little show to take your kids to, to enjoy between shopping.
