I was so excited to come check this place out and I love that it supports a good cause! The decorations are really cute, despite the fact that the place is small. The graveyard was the draw for me. I enjoyed seeing the different decorations sponsored by different businesses. We came on Halloween night, which I am sure is effecting my review and experience. It was super crowded. The line to get in was long (but it moved quick) and the employees seemed to be shouting a lot (maybe they need megaphones) and to change their approach to be more welcoming, not like I am going through TSA or something. The lines were super long to get on every ride and it seemed like too many people were here for the size of the location. Maybe consider limiting how many people come in or doing timed entry or something else? As this was a huge damper on the experience. The mini golf was cute yet super small and the course was not really for playing actual mini golf since too many people were stomping around to take photos/interrupt the game being played. For me, the price point is high to get in considering I did not go on any rides. I wish they would sell a ticket for those who want to just come in and look at the decorations and not go on rides.Although this place has a great idea and I do love that it supports a good cause, I would pass on this experience unless the above recommendations were put into effect. With that being said, thank you for what you do and supporting our community and bettering the lives of others. I respect what you are trying to do here, despite that this particular experience was not for me.

Terrible. Such a small place and sooooo many people! We paid $25 per person and left in 20 min, because you are not enjoying. Kids cannot play; cannot run, cannot walk normal, I am not taking even about huge lines to the rides. They should sell tickets in a limited quantity. Disappointed!!!!!! Not recommend at all.

This was the second year I went to the Halloween display at Opportunity Village. Halloween is not a favorite holiday for me. When you're a teacher, elementary kids come to school ready for candy, it can be a bit trying. I go to OV for the halloween display to enjoy the lights, the different displays, and sometimes to get a fresh curro from the stand. I also enjoy the young kids with their wide eyes and giggles as they go with their parents through the Forest. In addition, I sometimes indulge in a fresh churro. Reason enough. Mostly, I go to support this worthy non-profit. I like the work they do for people of all ages with disabilities. There are times when I volunteer to take family photos so everyone is in the photo. That gives me miuch pleasure. There are also rides and other activities. I can't speak about them as I haven't ridden down the giant slide nor taken a ride on the small train that goes through the Forest. I would recommend this for families, especially those with primary school age children.

Halloveen is a really fun Halloween activity for the kids. My toddler had a blast here with the variety of rides and Halloween fun.I've heard mixed things about crowds here, but on Friday the 13th it wasn't busy at all. We didn't wait in any long lines and walking around was pleasant.Parking was plentiful and close to the entrance. The security line was quick and easy to get through. We booked ahead at $25 per person for adults and kids since we had plans with friends. I was surprised that I didn't have to specify a date when booking. I love this since kids do tend to get sick a lot. I later saw that discounted tickets were on Groupon, but for that you are purchasing for a specific date. I thought the experience was worth the full price. The variety of activities is great. There is a magic forest decorated for Halloween. The train ride goes through here. Kids can trick or treat at the various stands. They have a carousel and a couple of other rides. There is also a putt putt course. All of this is included in the ticket price. The only extras would be food or the couple of carnival games. We'll definitely add this into our list of annual Halloween activities. We hope to check Opportunity Village out for Christmas too.

Went Saturday afternoon after the Neck and Back clinic invited my office out. There wasn't a long line to get in so we walked right in. Didn't have any little ones with us so we just took our time looking around and enjoying all the sights. The food lines were pretty long so skipped out on trying anything this time. Definitely good family fun.

This experience was okay. It was a little pricey for what you got, but my kid had fun riding the avalanche slide so that's why I gave it four stars! Price - it costs $25/adult to get in. Kids 3 and under are free. If you buy it online it is $23.50 so you get a discount. But there is also a Groupon that I heard people mentioning in the entrance line! So it might even be cheaper on Groupon. Not a super scary place so geared towards young kids, not teenagers who might want to be scared for Halloween!Treat stations - there are stations throughout the park, but the candy isn't the most high end. I think only one station had chocolate and the others were things like toostie rolls. They gave spider rings and tattoos too, but my kid is scared of both so we didn't collect those!Food - the price of food wasn't as bad as some other parks. It was $8.00 for a burger and fries. They didn't have just fries as a side dish so we ended up having to just be whole burger meal! Lol. They had veggie burgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, snow cones, cotton candy, and cookies. The cookies were hidden inside the actual forest itself! Those were $2.00 each. They also had kennel corn somewhere but we couldn't find it. But the $8.00 burger wasn't the best. It was cold where the cheese wasn't even melted and the fries weren't really fried all the way here my kid spit them out. But the cookie was fine. He liked that! We adults ate at del taco before coming, in case the food was really pricey and the lines were long. This was a good call on our part because we didn't feel pressured to buy food we didn't want to eat there. Also, not a ton of tables near the eating areas! But there is a hidden table in the magical forest next to the cookie station and some table near the train station and slide, which are a little to the side of the eating area right next to all the food. But you do have to linger and snatch a table when you can.Bathrooms - very clean and inside the building so it was a nice place to relax and get warm for a bit. And to change my kids diaper without him freezing!!!Attractions - the magical forest walk itself was okay, but more for older kids and not toddlers because my son got a little scared. Plus, we went after 6:30 pm and it was a little too dark to see some of the lighted decorations. So if you want to take pics with those decorations go at 5:30 pm when they open before the sun sets all the way. For the lights themselves, very pretty. Nice displays of pumpkins everywhere to take photos with your family too. We didn't play any games or ride any rides, but they had tea cups, a sled ride, a carousel, and a train that went all around the magical forest. My kid just likes to watch and wave. The train was also completely uncovered so make sure to bring warm clothes for the kiddies and yourself. The best thing for us was the giant slide because you can take little kids with you. Lots of places don't let kids ride the slide on your lap, but this one did allow it! We only went twice though because the line was a little long. About a 15 m wait at 8 pm on a Monday night. I'm sure it'll be a lot longer on a weekend or Friday!!!Parking and admission - no issues here. Was free and had plenty of parking near the entrance when we arrived at 6 pm. No line either when we entered around 6:15/6:30 pm. They do not allow outside food and drinks except water so remember not to bring those! And they do check your bags and have you walk through a metal detector. Not sure we would for back for $23.50, maybe when my kid will ride more things! But was a nice first-time experience. That's it! Happy Halloween!

We went with our 16 month old. The event is stroller friendly. As an overprotective new mom, I was scared to let him go on most of the rides. We started off going through the forest. Since we arrived when they first opened, it was still night out so we went thru again when it got dark. Then we went on the train which goes through the forest. We walked around and did the trick or treating. We did get tricked because on of the people giving out candy was a time share sales both. I would suggest only going to the mini houses with doors to get treats. The other ride I was comfortable with was the carousel. We did the seat that doesn't move. It seemed like a lot to spin and go up and down for a baby. As we walked around there was a large group of people dancing thriller so we watched that for a little bit. After an hour of opening, it started getting crowded and everything had a line. We decided to go home and eat dinner. We didn't think it was worth the price since we had a baby. It's probably a better experience for older kids that can go on more rides. It is a good cause so the price is reasonable for it being a donation to a nonprofit.

We go here every year for Christmas and recently found out that they have events lined up for Halloween as well so we figured why not? Opportunity village is primarily ran by people who are volunteers, so it's nice because the majority of them choose to be here. So when you walk on you're greeted by a warm welcome and a trick or treat bag for the young ones. There's maybe a dozen trick or treat points throughout the park, so not too many but enough to have a good time. There's various carnival rides like they're version of the spinning teacups you see at Disneyland. They also have a merry go round and some mini golf. They have a gigantic slide that you have to sit in a sack and slide down. But the star of the show is the train ride which is a relaxing little tour of the little forest walk they have. Then the forest walk has several places to trick or treat, plus they had a Barbie doll box for photo ops which I thought was pretty cool. If you've ever been to opportunity village you know this place is photo ops galore with plenty of good food choices from corn dogs to hot chocolate to their trademark funnel cakes there's something for everyone! Make this a part of your holiday season tradition!

This is such an amazing event. The carnival rides are included in your ticket price which was a very pleasant surprise, and the games were only $5 each and every kid gets a prize. The village was safe, clean and well-decorated, tons of amazing and adorable photo ops. Lots of volunteers around so you felt secure and confident letting your kids play. You can tell they put a lot of love into putting it all together. Ample free parking and the volunteers were all friendly and pleasant. People with babies as well as couples on date nights all seemed to be having a great time. Great event!!!

I came into Halloveen knowing little to nothing about this event. I arrived exactly at 5:30pm where there was already a line formed. It moved fairly quickly going through security, then through ticket check, and then eventually the entrance. After entering, I saw shiny lights and immediately followed them through the enchanted halloween forest. I was pleasantly surprised, impressed, and just overall happy I went. It's important to note: I am an adult. I have no kids. I came here with my mother-in-law who acted like a kid going table to table saying "TRICK OR TREAT!!" and getting candy. We arrived at 5:30pm and stayed till it closed and still didn't do everything (We DID ride the train, eat some food, ride the slide, play mini-golf and check out the foreset twice).I never found myself feeling bored. No line felt too long. I heard 0 complaints. And I want to add in here the staff was so super kind to the kids, like genuine kind. It was heartwarming to see. Very cool. I for sure what to check it out for Christmas. :)
