We were in the area and looking for a lunch spot and saw Half Bird. We decided chicken sounded good so we'd try it out. Immediately upon walking in my husband said this place smells delicious and I noticed the old school arcade games that were free to play. The decor is all funny chicken stuff but the menu is all chicken business. We were originally planning on getting our own meals but after reviewing the menu we realized the Flock Feast was a better option. For $44 we got all that was included in the picture. The fries were excellent and so were the rolls, the chicken nuggs were the best chicken of the meal but the wings were a nice addition to ensure everyone got their favorite type of chicken. The service was great and they were helpful since it was our first time. We already know we will return because the service and food were both top tier. They even have a small outdoor area equipped with TVs and cornhole and when the weather gets a little warmer - it will add to the vibe.

First time here and got the Flock Feast to get taste of the menu. - Chicken was just ok. I've had juicier and more flavorful chicken elsewhere. Personally enjoyed the nuggets more than the rotisserie chicken- There's several sauces to choose from, but I preferred the ones with traditional dipping sauce consistency. While the Scallion Ginger and Chili Garlic Crunch sound unique on paper, they make for difficult dipping sauces since the oil is what tends to stick to the chicken, leaving the scallions/chili to slide off- Mac n Cheese was ok but nothing too memorable- Salad came in a comically small bowl which made it incredibly difficult to eat without its contents overflowing out of the bowl- Cookie came prepackaged in a plastic wrap and was very standard; they don't warm it up beforehand, and texture overall was very soft- Togarashi rolls were pretty tasty and the only standout side for meIn addition to the Flock Feast, we got the Yuzu Hot Honey chicken sandwich as well. This was probably my favorite item overall, but I couldn't believe how small the sandwich was. As as whole, everything was grossly overpriced for the portions. They advertise a possible happy hour which is listed on their website as 3-6pm daily and extended to 9pm on Fridays, which might make them a better value. However, while we weren't aware of this when we went, we definitely ate within that time frame and there were no signs about this happy hour in the store, and none of the workers mentioned it.

We've been wanting to try Half Bird for quite some time (big fans of the chef/owner), and we finally came in for a visit.Walking in, I loved the decor. Like I couldn't stop taking photos, some of the things in here are so cute! I am in love with the chicken feet lighting and the neon.Walking up to the counter, we didn't feel any intimidation, we were welcomed with a lot of friendliness and patience. The people at the counter were also helpful and knowledgeable and really wanted to make sure we were having a great experience. When they brought out our food, they were insistent that we let them know how it was and if anything could be improved. Really good customer service. We ordered the ramen with butter chicken and Yuzu Hot Honey Chicken sando with chili garlic cheese french fry dippers. The ramen was excellent, especially when you smash the egg into the broth, to make it richer and creamier. The sando was really good, especially since my hubs doesn't like pickles and got them on the side for me so I got a lot of these excellent pickles. My hubs couldn't stop raving about the dippers. He said that more places should sell fries this way. So good! The drink selection here is pretty good and I appreciated getting to try something new. All in all, I can't wait to come in and try some more of the items on the menu.

located on Green Valley Parkway in Horizon Ridge in the southwest corner. Super delicious yummy spot very fresh product. I had their spicy sandwich. They use the potato bun and make every sandwich from scratch. They also use soy oil when cooking the chicken is very tender and juicy on the inside yet, Krispy and crunchy on the outside cool little trendy spot would definitely go back. They have a lot of craft beers and a lot of options for kids.

Great service and the chicken sandwiches are ALL good. The hot honey is my favorite. It's sweet, spicy and crunchy. My favorite side is the Mac and cheese. If you get the togarashi rolls, eat them at the restaurant. Don't wait until you get home. Be sure to get a chocolate chip cookie because those are really good too. They have a pineapple soda that's pretty good and all sorts of beer on tap. This is a great neighborhood spot!

Came here for restaurant week 2024 and tried the rotisserie half bird with green curry ranch and their scallion ginger sauce, chili garlic cheese potatoes, a drink, and a fresh baked chocolate chunk cookie.Overall the food was just ok. The half bird was pretty small to be honest and the white meat was really dry and definitely needed the two sauces that came with it. The seasoned chicken skin was quite good and crispy which is what you look for in rotisserie. Speaking of the sauce, the scallion ginger sauce didn't really do it for me. The green curry ranch on the other hand was very good. It was very unique and like nothing I'd ever had before but it still felt very familiar and approachable. I had some left over and put it on some homemade chicken. I straight up was not a fan of the potatoes. There was too much going on and too many competing flavors which in my mind did not go together. I was not expecting much from the cookie but it was incredible. I would almost just stop by for a cookie and nothing else it was that good. The place is cool looking and colorful inside and has a cool "self-pour" beer taps which is awesome and potentially dangerous haha. There is a nice patio with table and chairs and games. I can see what they are trying to do but with their location and other offerings in the valley, I can't really see this place catching on too much, at least in terms of a hang-out. I love to be proven wrong though.

I was really excited to try this place, has been on my radar for some time. Maybe all that excitement had my expectations unrealisticly high. It was all good, but for the 30 minute drive it took to get there, was a bit of a letdown. Service was very good. Staff were extremely helpful. The wait time was not bad. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things. Tried the chicken parm. Nice ide but the execution was off for me. Marinara was on the cold side and the cheese was not melted. The nuggets were very good but seemed a bit bland and dry. The dip fries and Mac n cheese were both very good. Probably won't make it back.

I hate to have to come back here to change a 5 star review but I need to be honest with recent experience. First off, we ordered 18 nuggets for $20 and unlike previous visits, shinkflation seems to have taken hold. The nuggets were all less than half the size they used to be, and definitely needs some quality control as they were overcooked (tasted burnt) and dry. Super disappointed. I get that "things happen" but we also got a couple of rotisserie chicken salads and found the lettuce to be old (you know, where it gets sort of pink and dry) and the chicken itself was not wonderful, kind of gummy and tasted old, like they grabbed a pre-made salad out of a fridge from 2 days ago. Again, this is the first time that we've ever had issues out of 9-10 previous visits but it had been a number of months since the last time in so hopefully this is the exception and not the rule.

I miss judged it from the outside because it looks like a small place but once you go inside, it's actually pretty nice. Good "hangout "place.I like the counter that faces outside to the outdoor seating. Their chicken items are very tasty.Best of all they have "fat tire" beer on tap! They activate a card where you can refill as much or as little as you want and close out your tab at the end
