Review #7 of 2025During our third visit, we stopped by for a quick afternoon meal. We ordered a bowl of menudo and a Trio burrito, which has carne asada, chicken, and shrimp and is generously sized for two people. Although the salsa bar is small, the salsas pack a flavorful punch.Overall, the business is on point with its orders and service as the workers are friendly and helpful. Spanish channel TV usually plays in the background at a decent level that doesn't interrupt conversation.The business is a bit hidden, so there is not much traffic, but it is definitely a spot we always look forward to going to.

This building has gone through a few iterations of different Mexican restaurants and yet this was my first time stopping by. It's very small inside but welcoming with its bright colors. When going to similar fast Mexican restaurants (Fausto's, Roberto's, etc.), I usually go for the Californian burrito, nachos, or a torta. I decided to go for the al pastor nachos at Habanero's. The plate was very large and incredibly filling, but I did have some complaints. The cheese was not melted and the toppings (onions, cilantro, and al pastor) were only on the top, there was no layering, which resulted in just a pile of plain tortilla chips. The free salsa bar with 4 different, tasty salsas definitely helped flavor those chips but I've definitely had better nachos.I feel like the price of everything was also pretty pricey, especially compared to some other local spots, though I know prices have gone up everywhere. I would come back but it might be a while, especially with so many other good food options in the area.

Nothing fancy just a little humble Mexican restaurant with the most delicious shrimp burrito I've ever eaten. They have breakfast options as well as luncheon dinner, but they don't open till 9 AM which is a bummer. Super friendly and restaurant was clean. There was a Mexican restaurant there prior to this ownership, but it closed down. This food is much better and definitely worth a retry.

Absolutely delicious!!!!! Food was great, staff friendly and restaurant clean. I had quesabirria tacos. They didn't have a combo for it but they were able to make a combo for me. Great flavor, everything tastes home cooked. I'll be coming back for sure.
