I was sorely disappointed in the food we purchased from Habaneros Taco Grill. My son had a hankering and I relented and asked him to pick me up a carne asada quesadilla and a carne asada burrito to split.Neither item was "great" albeit mostly edible. Several pieces of carne had un-rendered fat pieces, making them quite chewy. Both also lacked a decent amount of carne asada to begin with, as far as I was concerned, especially for the high price paid for each item. The quesadilla was made haphazardly, with the cheese and what carne did come in it not being evenly spread around. The salsa verde was pretty good, but the red sauce was not very good.I have eaten plenty of Mexican fast food and this place, sadly, was definitely on the lower end of places I've eaten from. This place was recommended by my nephew, too. I'll have to scold him the next time I see him lol.

Taco Tuesday Review:Chicken tacos are currently 1.69 each on Tuesdays and they are amazing! The tacos are stuffed with seasoned shredded chicken, lettuce and cheese! These are better chicken tacos than the local heavyweight Mexican chain that does their chicken taco special on Wednesday. The Habanero salsa is the best I've had in the Las Vegas area and I highly recommend for those that like the heat!

I can no longer recommend Habaneros Taco Grill #2. I ordered 5 rolled chicken tacos with guacamole and cheese and had to spit this (see picture) out because i felt something sharp poke the top of my mouth, it was a piece of wood(toothpick?). I called and spoke with the manager Jesus and he responded with that's how they come before they are fried. He sent me a picture of how they are prepared with wooden toothpicks/skewers before cooking them. That doesn't mean its ok it was left in my food due to an employee not removing it all the way before serving it to a customer. This could of been far more serious.

Terrible service. I was just inquiring on tacos and the worker was so rude I am shocked. She actually hung up on me several times. When I asked for a manager she left me on the line while I could hear her in the background. This is the second bad experience I've had now with Habaneros. So sad. They used to be a great fast food facility. I don't recommend and will posting how terrible their service is everywhere.

Tacos were delicious. Ordered the pork with everything. I didn't need the salsa. Tacos were flavorful as is. Also got a chili verde burrito. Will have that tomorrow.

Maybe the best breakfast burrito I grave had anywhere!! Loaded with eggs, meat, potatoes and cheese. I had to split it into two meals! Huge and delicious!! Their rolled tacos are usually pretty good too! Though, as with anything deep fried, it kinda depends on the cook that day. I have had them a little on the greasy side, but mostly flawless!!! You might call them taquitos, but they call them rolled tacos: the beef are great, the chicken are a little dry and not as tasty.

I normally go to Habaneros, but I just ordered a burrito and brought it home. The burrito was gross, and had pieces of fat in every bite. Unfortunately, I Won't be going back.

Me and my man would get Habaneros but at a different location. Since this one is close to us, we decided to give it a try. We ordered a steak and shrimp quesadilla to share on Saturday night via drive thru. When we got home, we started digging in and it was so good but I couldn't taste any shrimp. I told my man about it and he said his piece got a little shrimp so I guess all was good. We have a piece leftover so I decided to heat it up the next day. When I started biting into it, I bit onto something hard. It turned out to be the peelings of the shrimp. So that last piece contained steak and just peelings of shrimp, no shrimp at all. While the food was delicious, I wouldn't want to ingest shrimp peelings. Hopefully this is just a one time error.

I've been a loyal customer of Habaneros for years, always trusting them to deliver authentic and delicious Mexican food. Growing up in San Diego, I know what GOOD Mexican food is supposed to taste like, and Habaneros has usually been my go-to spot. However, after my recent experience, I'm extremely disappointed and questioning whether I'll ever return.I ordered a steak and egg breakfast burrito, which is supposed to come with steak, eggs, cheese, and potato--everything I was looking forward to. But to my shock, what I received was a burrito filled mostly with eggs and bacon. BACON! There was no steak in sight. Not a single piece. This isn't just about a simple mistake; it's about business ethics and quality control. If you're going to charge me for steak, then I expect to get what I paid for. Cutting corners like this is completely unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that I've supported for so long. It's incredibly frustrating to feel cheated by a place I've trusted for years. This is not the kind of service or quality I expect from Habaneros, and it's disappointing to see the standards drop so low. As someone who grew up in SD (specifically Chula Vista/CHULA-JUANA), where great Mexican food is part of the culture, I can't overlook this kind of carelessness.I'm sad to say that Habaneros has lost my trust, and I won't be returning unless I see some serious changes. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously because this type of service is a surefire way to lose loyal customers like myself.
