Habaneros Taco Grill #11

We came here to eat one night and i have to say I was surprisingly impressed. I would rather come here than Roberto's or Don Tortaco, which are both by me.The service is good for just being a taco shop, but the food was definitely on point. We ate it there and enjoying dining in not to mention the place is clean so I highly recommend it.

Best burrito I had in a long time. Might've been super hungry too. Can't recall. Ordered NEVADA burrito with carne asada meat. This has fries, guac and sour cream. Also asked for a side of pick :3The guy was really nice, went thru drive thru. Got our order quick.

Placed an order online and opted for the option to pay in restaurant. I arrived 10 minutes after the app said my food was ready, so I expected to just arrive and pay. Unfortunately, when I arrived they didn't even begin to make my order. Even though there were only two people dining in the restaurant who already had their. Which means they weren't overwhelmed with tons of customers. It wasn't until I paid that they began prepping my order.So I had to wait around 10 to 15 minutes for my food to be prepared. which was a bit of an inconvenience for me. The gentleman who took my payment did however apologize. but the damage was already done. .... And that was the service. As far as the food.... The rolled up tacos were basic at best and the Chorizo breakfast burrito was actually pretty decent.

Saw that there was only 1 car in the drive through, so I thought that they must be quick! Line can't be that long. Boy was I wrong. By the time I drove up, the car in front of me was still ordering food (pretty sure he was not being helped), took another 5 minutes for him to get his order taken, I had to wait another 3 minutes to make my order, then waited another 15 minutes to finally get my food. All in all, it took basically over 23 minutes to get my food from a drive-thru that had 1 car in front of me??? I don't do drive through often, but this seems ridiculous for a pretty not-busy day.Was excited to try this place out (so many great reviews), but obviously the service was lacking.What made this even worse was that they DID NOT HONOR the Yelp Check-In 15% off deal!!!! I checked-in to yelp, showing each step to the worker, and he didn't seem to know about this deal. He was confused, went back in, took my credit card, and charged me full price. what.... This place needs to get it's act together, and properly train its workers.Terrible experience, would not recommend.Al Pastor Fries ($13.50)- Pretty large box, filled to the brim, good value with lots of meat + lots of fries. You will be full- Fries could be crispier (got soggy pretty much by the time I started to eat it, but I don't think they were crispy to start with)- Al Pastor is NOT from the rotating spit (tasted ok, slightly flavorless), definitely can improve the flavor- Overall it was a very mediocre box of Al Pastor fries. It looks good, but felt like it was missing something, or the fries were just too soggy. They give some side sauce which is ok. If you're hungry, it will def fill you up.

Finally. Someone took over the Don Tortaco that was here. Ordered my usual chorizo burrito and I really love the creaminess in the burrito. Most places it's really (dry) chorizo and eggs. Good but, I believe it's the cheese they add here that's ADDS to the deliciousness. Not sure if they add potatoes in there but, if not, I'll be sure to ask if they can add to mines :)Always love the sauce / condiment bar. Something other places don't have is creamy green sauce; it's kinda spicy but the good spice :)Of course they have a regular green and red sauce. Decent green sauce!Place is very clean and fairly big. When we came, a group of guys in town from California made a point to come to Habaneros for lunch! So guess that's a testament to how good this place is.

I have tried this place a few times in the past 2 months, and they always surprise me with their flavorful food. I could easily say it's one of the best in the area. Never had an issue with their customer service, they are always nice and polite. The restaurant is quiet and clean. Try their green sauce, along with the adobada.

The food was delicious, slightly over-salted but good portions. Not sure why the refried beans were the color that they were but they tasted like regular refried beans. Prices could've been better but they weren't horrible.

The food was horrible, I ordered Carne Asada Nachos And Medium Jamaica was damn near $20.... Presentation looked great, then I bit into them, I have tasted bad Mexican food before, and this is right at the top of list. Nothing seasoned absolutely not edible. Dont't waste your money here, everything was pre-cooked and made to look good to the eyes, Worst Mexican Ever.

Love this place! The Super Carne Asada Burrito and a nice cold Pineapple drink never disappoints My Son loves the Birria Quesadilla. Comes with a good size conzumé as well. They have other Birria dishes as well.

Lady was nice but I asked for two tostadas and I said does anything come on the tostadas like bean and cheese and she just said it was beans and cheese and that's what I wanted so I said OK there was lettuce on it and it tasted burnt and old. Actually horrible. Never will go back. Girls bathroom smelled horrible like gross eggs. Churro wasn't good either.
