Habanero Taco Grill

Ya know, Cafe Rio is in my area and it's like a hit or miss. Just a few days ago. We were the only customers there. There was no ice in the ice machine. I told the girl in a very friendly way that the machines were out of ice. She said she'll get to it. I ended up finishing my whole plate and she was texting on her phone for 20 minutes doing nothing and didn''t anticipate to get the ice. It's like the staff is not happy there. :(But here at Habanero is an A plus! A Big menu easy to pick from. Nice and cool inside. The place is clean with pleasant Mexican music. There is a screen TV and yes the ice machine works:)

Had a quick lunch on Friday here. I forgot to take a picture of the salsa bar. This place is always quick and fresh. Really good food and great price. Employees are always friendly. My lunch was under $20 and I got a lot of food! See my pics

After a day pool party what else is better than some good Mexican food! We were able to enjoy this place and I'm glad we did. O can remember their exact location because i didn't drive but it seemed about 20mins away from the strip so you're getting a good amount of food for a decent price. I ordered chile relleno with an enchilada and honestly it was so good i forgot to take a picture! The service is great as well. One of the people in our group wasn't feeling too well in the heat and they noticed right away. While waiting in line they instantly offered water and Gatorade.

We went here last night for the Happy Hour nachos (one of our favorites) and they corrected their mistake. We ordered chicken nachos with the pico de gallo on the side @ $7.99. We went through the drive-thru. We didn't get a receipt. We got home and the order was wrong. We got the carne asada nachos at $12.92. I checked my checking account and sure enough, I saw the charge of $12.92. Hubby called to see what we needed to do so he spoke to the manager. We had to come back (good thing, it's close), got the right order of nachos, received the refund for the difference (showing the bank account charge), and got a free drink for the mistake. The lady at the counter was very apologetic. Thank You for making this right. That was the first time I went inside. We usually go through the drive-thru window (usually, always, very busy). There were several customers inside. It looked clean. There was a self-serve salsa bar next to the fountain drink machine. Bathroom is for customers only. It's a little small inside. Lots of parking outside, since it's in a strip mall. We also saw the sign for the taco specials on monday (beef) and tuesday (chicken). We are in the middle of doing our family taste test of chicken tacos so we will be back on a tuesday sometime. We got home and enjoyed the chicken nachos, which is hubby's favorite nachos (a while ago, we did a family taste test of nachos with quick service mexican restaurants, for me, this was a very close second). Crispy chips, topped generously with grilled chicken, green sauce, sour cream and cheese, mmm.

I come to habaneros all the time I've been living in this neighborhood for years this is my go to taco shop food is always pretty good and service isn't stellar but I've never had an issue and I'm always treated kindly the staff has always been quick and kind no fuss but not mean ever. I'm allergic to dairy and from San Diego so I always get some version of carne asada chips with shrimp instead of carne asada and no dairy I get it often like once or twice a month often I come during happy hour for this dish. Cause it's all I get, every time pretty much. I pay extra for shrimp I pay extra some times for the extra toppings even tho it comes with it and I'm taking off the cheese and sour cream it's like $3 extra I'm fine with that this time the guy Abdiel forgot to charge me the happy hour price I mentioned to the sweet girl who handed me my food she was like cool let me get him to fix it he hands me back like $3 ... in cash mind you and I paid with my card and he didn't say nothing about giving me money back or anything just opened the window and pushed cash in my face. it's like a $8 difference between happy hour price and regular I ask him why is there $3 here what's going on he starts he comes back and then hands me $14 and I'm like yo this isn't the right amount either bro . I'm just asking to get the right change not a refund. He literally goes I hope you're happy and closes the window in my face. Like.... Why.... Why was this necessary. I'm a loyal customer I'm not trying to make a fuss I just asked to me charged properly and you're getting all crazy with me!?!? Why.... The whole interaction was un necessary everyone makes mistakes just say my bad give me my right change and move on bro you ain't gotta takeAll your daily struggles out on me just because I pointed out the mistake and wasn't gonna let you charge me $23 for one plate of chips. Hella disappointed.Got home to eat it.... wrong hot sauce in the bag... no beans on the chips like it always comes with.... Just damn

Ever since I moved to Las Vegas nine years ago, this taco spot has stolen my heart! Let me tell you, their chicken hard shell soft tacos are an absolute delight. The meat is bursting with incredible flavors and the combination of crunchy goodness simply rocks my world. And guess what? Taco Tuesdays are the real deal here, especially when it comes to those hard chicken soft tacos. There is also beef hard shell taco specials on Mondays. Additionally, their Nevada burrito is a true masterpiece that leaves me craving for more. Trust me, it's a mouthwatering experience!Dine in ambiance is average, nothing special about it but the food is great.Oh, and the portions? They are great, making every visit a truly satisfying one. And to top it all off, the staff is not only friendly but also efficient, ensuring that your taco adventure is nothing short of perfection. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Everything I've had has been really good! Very tasty, plentiful, and reasonably priced! 1000% recommend...you won't regret it.

Good size burrito. Meat quality was fine. Nothing too crazy. Honestly as long as it's not really fatty or dry, I don't need super high quality meat in a breakfast burrito. But the habanero salsa is what stood out to me. It was actually really spicy. I hate when place say something is spicy and it's just regular hot sauce. Highly recommend asking for 3-4 cups of salsa per burrito.

My go to Mexican fast food! I love how they're open until midnight, it always satisfies my cravings! Food is fast and freshly made. Staff is always nice to give us extra green sauce and peppers.
