Grouchy John's Coffee has completely won me over, and their Wampa Cold is hands-down the best coffee I've ever had! I never imagined cookie butter and white chocolate could pair so perfectly, but trust me--it works. They use Trader Joe's cookie butter, so the flavor is top-notch, and it makes for the most amazing iced coffee combo I've ever tasted.I've always been a loyal Starbucks girl, but Grouchy John's has officially taken the crown as my go-to coffee spot. Now, Starbucks is more of an occasional treat instead of my daily fix. The service here is always fast, and the staff is super friendly. One time, I placed an online order, and when I arrived, they realized the machine hadn't been turned on. They apologized, whipped up my drink in record time, and even gave it to me on the house!On top of all that, the coffee shop itself has such a retro and cozy vibe. It's the perfect place to chill or grab a quick cup. If you haven't tried Grouchy John's yet, do yourself a favor and order the Wampa Cold--you won't regret it!

Cute place in Centennial Hills! I loved the Star Wars decor and ambience. Everyone working was very friendly as well.They also feature quite a few sugar free flavors which is great I had the VGK and enjoyed it thoroughly.Definitely worth a visit!

Classic Americano and specialty blends alike offer a refined experience, distilling each sip to its essence: uncomplicated excellence and pure flavor.The exceptional service and attractive pricing at this lovely establishment greatly enhanced my experience. The Rushmore Cold, featuring white chocolate and hazelnut, became an absolute delight when blended, offering a masterful balance of flavors that avoided excessive sweetness. Initially visiting for a meeting anticipated to conclude within an hour, I surprisingly spent three hours here. This location demonstrated itself to be an ideal spot to relax with several cups of coffee or a smoothie, complemented by a baked item or a food menu selection, including wraps with customizable protein options of turkey, chicken, or ham, along with vegetables, cheese, and spreads.My new to go coffee shop and it's not far from my house!!! Winning!!

Great service, good selection of unique drinks, and plenty of parking. They need a drive thru though! Plenty of seating inside.

I was craving a smoothie and looked up places on Yelp that were open around 8:30 in the morning. Grouchy John's Coffee was one of the first places that showed up on the search and it's right near my house too! The location used to be a lulu's breakfast spot, but now it's Grouchy John's Coffee. Grouchy John's Coffee is right next to Metro Pizza. There is plenty of parking spaces available. When I walked into the Coffee shop, I wasn't greeted by any of the team members. I looked at the menu and noticed they had a wide variety of options such as smoothies, coffee, baked goods like donuts, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and even breakfast options such as wraps! Inside, there are plenty of table and booth seating available. Some of the booth seating had chargers built-into the table right next to the seats, which is nice, especially if you wanted to work on your laptop at the coffee shop.I ended up ordering the following to goThe peanut butter, banana, and chocolate smoothie. I saw the picture on Yelp and it looked amazing! (Medium)The Matcha Smoothie with whipped cream (Large).The first team member came out and asked if I had ordered a iced coffee. I let her know that I didn't and she found the other customer who did. After waiting about 10 minutes, the smoothies had arrived!I didn't taste test the smoothies at the coffee shop and ended up bringing the smoothies home! The first thing I noticed was that the peanut butter smoothie was missing the chocolate flavoring. When I took a sip of the smoothie at the house, I noticed it had coffee in the smoothie. I don't drink coffee. My husband ended up drinking it instead. The Matcha smoothie was just okay. It tasted more like a slushy. I'm not really sure what happened with the order.I'm glad I had a chance to try out Grouchy John's Coffee. I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon though.

I'd definitely visit Grouchy John's Coffee again (on a cooler day or when their AC is working). This coffee shop is adjoined to Metro Pizza. There are an entryway into the pizza shop directly from the coffee shop.I visited for the first time yesterday with my family. I got a good chuckle from the nerdy beverage names on the menu. I caught that a few were Star Wars themed. I visited around 1p so I would assume this was why the pastry case was about empty. The few pastries and bagels that were left didn't look too great but again, this was well into the afternoon so I would like to assume they look a lot fresher early morning.The coffee shop was quiet and not busy at all but definitely groups occupying different corners of the space. I was able to grab a table for four in the middle of the shop. The table didn't appear to be wiped down so I grabbed some napkins and sanitizer. After wiping it down it still looked unclean but I think the furniture may just be older. This was apparent from the chairs as well. Aside from that the service was great! The baristas were able to answer the menu questions I had. I ordered an iced cinnamon dolce and the evil monkey. The barista warned me that the banana in the evil monkey was "polarizing" but I ordered it anyway and surprise; I wasn't a fan. The cinnamon dolce was REALLY good though! The server that brought the drinks to the table was also very friendly. This is a great place to pop in for a drink and get some work done. I'm definitely going to return earlier in the day to get food and update my review.

Stopped by here for a morning coffee!!! It's hidden in the corner but once you're inside this place is super cute and spacious. There was multiple people studying so it is a quiet environment.I ordered the butter me up iced latte! It's definitely rich in cookie butter and the bottom has like a sort of paste or mouse? That chunks up with you sip through the straw! The latte was phenomenal. I ordered and my drink was out in 2 minutes (: staff was super nice and they even offer a discount to military, vets, students, first responders and health care workers.

I have driven past this place a few times going to Target and I always wanted to try it, so today was the day. I came on Tuesday June 11th, 2024 I came In around 7:30am. There were a few people inside. I ordered a Nutella toast with chopped strawberries on top and an iced chai with an espresso shot. The guy at the register was super nice.They delivered the coffee and toast to the table and they were both delicious. The service was fast and friendly I will definitely be back!

The Star Wars themed claim of this coffee shop feels a little lost on me. The decor seems much more eclectic and fun than it does strictly Star Wars.However, that does not detract from them being an awesomely creative and high quality coffee shop!I adore the artistry and variety on their menus. Their team - or perhaps single culinary mastermind - creates such amazing specialty drinks. This time I only tried the house special, Grouchy John, which is a white mocha with added amaretto flavoring. It was delicious with the $0.75 hot oat milk substitute. Next time, I want to try their smoothie, Shirley Temple of Doom, which contains matcha green tea and maraschino cherries. That said, there's so many stunning options to choose from! As a family, we also ordered our breakfast here since we were in the middle of a morning errand. My husband got a sausage breakfast sandwich on asiago bagel with added avocado. I got the breakfast wrap with bacon and spinach. Our son got a simple chocolate doughnut which he gobbled right up. All of us enjoyed everything we ordered here and were dually impressed with the prices. We'll be back to either this Grouchy John's, or maybe another location, to sample more of their menu soon!

Enjoy Grouchy's I go almost daily spend a fair amount of time each visit. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming--perfect for getting work done or catching up with friends. The staff is excellent and always friendly; they even know my usual order, making the experience even better. Josh, in particular, goes above and beyond to provide great service.
