The Grape Vine Cafe continues to be one of our favorite dining experiences. Tonight we enjoyed the pork chop special with veggie medley , and scallops in polenta! The servers are always very pleasant willing to find a good Wine pairing.Shout out to Brian who we have known for years, continues to be the one of our favorites!

Sadly I wish I would've taken pictures...I've been here on 2 occasions. The first time was a month or 2 ago for a date night after looking around near us for something new. We had driven by this place a few times and forgot about it and decided to try it. Our first experience wasn't what we expected given the credentials on this site.My boyfriend got the Lamb Chops, and to be honest the meat was skimpy. And the mashed potatoes were watery from the juice/blood I guess from the chops. For the price i guess we were expecting more?? Bad batch luck of the draw who knows...I ended up getting the penne vodka pasta with chicken. I was honestly a bit surprised, vodka sauce isn't that hard to mess up this one was HEAVY with little flavor. The chicken seemed to be chopped bits. I get it's an Italian place, but if I'm paying extra for protein then it should be an equal portion. Having to fish for the protein through the pasta was a downfall. The pasta was more like a family style portion with hardly any protein. I wish for the price it would be more equally portioned. We also got the bread with roasted garlic as an extra for an appetizer, and the bread was a little hard. I've been in the industry for over 14 years, and the service was sub par. He seemed very busy, we got asked maybe twice if we were ok. No table touch from management either. Especially on a Saturday. The second time we went we decided to give it another shot for happy hour recently. That didn't go great, surprised but not really. We had the "stuffed shrimp" and by that we expected the shrimp to be STUFFED. Instead we got I believe 4-5 butterflied shrimp swimming in butter, and what seemed to be the stuffing( a cheese/bread crumble substance) lightly toped on them and in the butter?? We had asked for bread for all that butter and found out it's extra. To each their own. As we sat idly, it was a minute till we saw the bartender as he was taking tables aside the bar. We were trying to get a second glass of wine before happy hour ended. What looked to be the Manager, as she was going behind the bar to serve drinks to guests she was sitting next to and eating with, never once asked the people at the bar if they were ok. Seemed like she knew quite a few people there visiting coming and going but didn't prioritize others at her bar top/place of business. Anyways, the buttery shrimp and extra charge for bread and otherwise was enough for us sadly. I suggest if management is going to be present with their friends or otherwise, maybe table touch some tables and ensure guest satisfaction instead of eating and drinking wine? Looks kind of bad, if you chose not to be on duty then have a server?Just a professional suggestion. Wish our experience was better, as an Italian food lover I had high hopes :(

Had dinner here recently, and overall, it was a nice experience. Check-in was smooth and quick, thanks to our reservation. Our server was friendly and personable, though he seemed a bit distracted at times--bringing the complimentary bread, for example, took longer than expected. For the meal, I ordered the branzino, and I was impressed. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a light crispiness on the outside and no overly "fishy" taste, which I appreciated. It came with a choice of soup, and I went with the clam chowder. The chowder was on the thinner side, but I actually enjoyed that it didn't have potatoes, keeping it light. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, and it was excellent--a lovely way to end the meal.Overall, I'd say this place is worth trying if you're in the area. A few minor service hiccups but nothing that overshadowed the quality of the food.

It was a bella notté at Grape Vine.Better than I expected. Reservations were made a couple of days in advance. A special Valentine's Day menu was featured. A saxophonist highlighted the music playing to set a mood. The customer service, ambiance, and food were all excellent. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. I noticed Branzino listed on a menu posted on a wall. We shall return.

First time coming here and it's very cute. White table cloth but comfortable dining. People were wearing all different attire. Some dressed up and some people dressed down. We were sat in the very far back, right under the tv. I'm not going to lie... it made it not so cute n romantic. I wish we got sat somewhere with a light not shining down on us. The servers were awesome, very attentive with great recommendations. I was hoping the food would have been exceptional The food was a bit underwhelming. I hope it was just an off day for them

So nice, so inviting! The owners, Linda & Moen, are there and on point. Burrata a caprese was excellent. The margarita pizza was scrumptious! Only sad that we didn't have room for dessert. We sat at the bar and Michelle was very helpful with our wine selections too. We will make it a regular stop!

We visited on Thursday for lunch with a party of four and it was a nice experience. We entered and were greeted and seated right away. The dining area is large and clean. The waitress arrived and took drink orders. We started with appetizers; Stuffed Shrimp and Baked Brie. Both were very good, be advised that the Brie takes a while to prepare. From there we went with Seafood Fra Diavolo, Baked Manicotti, and Mushroom Ravioli. All the food was excellent, the Fra Diavolo was the best I ever had. The side Caesars salad were also excellent. The reason they lost one star is that there was only one waitress and one busser for the entire dining room. The waitress was also answering the phone and getting takeout orders, so she was spread way too thin. There were excessive waits for refills and the check, I would suggest putting more staff on the floor. Overall, excellent food.

Oh boy! I was so excited to try this place. We ordered the stuffed shrimp (which didn't come stuffed), we also ordered the mussels which we thought would come in a bowl like most restaurants, but it came with only six mussels which was very chewy and fishy, the calamari we ordered wasn't crispy enough too. Honestly, the only thing we really enjoyed was the clam chowder soup. The service was slower. I asked for a lemon with my beer and the waitress brought a lime. She didn't come back for a while so I had to ask someone else for a lemon. All in all, I didn't enjoy my experience and probably will not be back.

Wow! I can't believe it's been almost 13 years since I've gone to, what was originally Grape Street, but now Grape Vine Café at Lake Mead/Buffalo. I had booked a reservation for 2 around 5:15 on a Friday evening to celebrate Valentines Day with my mother. I actually called a few hours in advance to see if we could come earlier, their team informed us that it would be no problem! We had arrived at around 3:30 for an early dinner! Check-in was a breeze! We informed the team member at the entrance our reservation for 2 and was immediately seated. The team member helping out our table had brought over waters and fresh bread with butter. The fresh bread with butter is complimentary, but only the first order. Any extras would be charged. As we looked at the menu, there was so many yummy dishes! Grape Vine Café had a wide range of sandwiches, burgers, pastas, and even pizzas! We ended up ordering the followingMr. C's BurgerProvolone, grilled onions & mushrooms, lettuce, tomato. No garlic on the French FriesFettuccine AlfredoFettuccine, tomatoes, green peas, alfredo sauce with blackened chicken. The service was absolutely amazing at this restaurant. The team member assisting our table was constantly checking up and refilling our drinks. When the entrees came out to the table, he made sure that we had ketchup, and that parmesan cheese was offered for the pasta! My mom enjoyed her burger. It was relatively large, so there was a good amount of food left over for the next day! The burger wasn't overcooked and had a lot of seasoning, especially with all of the extra toppings.I did not enjoy the fettucine alfredo. The cream sauce was too spicy. The blackened chicken was rubbery and chewy. The additional ingredients such as tomatoes included, you didn't get the butter or parmesan flavors in the alfredo sauce. I would not order that dish again. The atmosphere is wonderful at this restaurant though and the team members are awesome! It feels like you're eating a meal in a wine cellar, pretty cool! I would come here again, but just not get a pasta dish.

This place is amazing! Food is great. Highly recommended the pene ala vodka. The baked Brie, crab stuffed shrimp are great appetizers. Pizzas are great. The chicken gargonzola is amazing, but rich. Restaurant serves wine only.
