I was surprisingly impressed with this buffet. I'm a fan of the South Point casino and saw that they were having a special NYE seafood buffet. We arrived around 5ish and had about a 30 minute wait. We expected it to be worse, to be honest.Super cute...they gave out beads and party hats. At the entrance, there were cups of unlimited beer, wine, and champagne which were included. Our server was attentive and amazing. As far as the food, they had a good variety ranging from the carving station to Mongolian bbq to Mexican to Asian to seafood to dessert. Some of the items that really stood out: RibsPrime rib Garlic salmonThere were tons of crab legs and shrimp if you wanted to get down and dirty. They had a few live stations (cook to order) which I didn't get to try as I was already way too full. Haha.I haven't been to this buffet on regular days but I wouldn't mind coming back to give it a try. The prices are super reasonable...less than the strip buffets, for sure. Don't forget to bring your players card for a discount.

I don't know why this place is so highly rated among locals. We were really looking forward to it, but we're thoroughly disappointed. The best dishes were the ribs in carving and osso bucco in the Italian section. Both were super tender. The osso bucco was the best thing here and exceptionally good. The made to order elote was fun to eat. though the corn was watery and overcooked, but still enjoyable. Not good: prime rib, Chinese food, and sushi. Probably some of the worst, dry, grisly prime rib I have ever had at any buffet. Quality of meat is really poor. Chinese food is all overcooked to the point veggies were brown. Sushi was disheveled and rice was hard. We would have been more forgiving but service was not good either. Our server really neglected clearing our table and drinks. Ambiance was nice, bright, and comfortable.Glad we finally tried it to check it off our list. Maybe they just had an off night, but I'm not sure we will be back to try this again.

My first and last time going to this buffet. My first trip I picked the fried catfish, fried rice, cashew chicken and a small slice of brisket. I would give the catfish a 5 out of 10. The fried rice was a 6. Cashew chicken a 6 and the brisket a 6. My second and last trip was stopped by a COCKROACH crawling across the buffet pizza area. The person working behind the counter grabbed it since it was on the tongs and removed it. At least she removed the pizza that was next to it but that's it. The rest of the food stayed there. I asked for a manager and explain what happened. He said I'll let the chef know...we must have just cleaned and they're coming out. This has definitely happened before. Never once came back to check on me. Walked away before I could ask for my money back. The service besides that was a 5. The waitress looked like she didn't want to be there. She wasn't nice until after I asked to speak to a manager. When I explained to her what happened she made a joke about it being the special. The ambiance was a normal buffet style area but obviously not very clean. Over all I would explain the food to be what you would find in a low cost nursing center. Very bland! Definitely better choices for $25 By far the worse dining experience so far here in Las Vegas! All I can say is "do better!

Not bad. I was expecting some good ol' fashioned scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, toast, but u can tell they try to be a little fancy with it. The service was very good. We were seated right away and served thoroughly the entire time. Good job with that! There were alot of other food options available like steak, chicken, Mexican, Asian, etc. But I was here for eggs. This is a typical Vegas buffet. The cost was about $35? I think. They do not offer a Military discount. Overall, just ok if ur hungry..

I love the variety of food here. Every time I go, it seems like they have different options...so you never get bored. I am a local and I love coming here and bringing my family and friends when they visit me. There's Asian cuisine, Mexican cuisine, Italian...so many options! They do have a good variety of desserts too, from gelato to chocolate covered cheesecake pops. Make sure to get a free membership card inside the Southpoint casino. This will give you a discounted rate. My husband and I paid $45.41 including drinks. It is a self-serve buffet, and the workers are always nice. There is usually a line, but do not be intimidated. It usually goes by pretty fast and it is worth it.

I think after watching YouTube videos I was overhyped to try the Garden Buffet. The best item on the line is the prime rib as it's juicy and very tender. The Mongolian grill station was good but there were no noodles which are usually a staple in most Mongolian style restaurants but the ingredients and sauces were good. The service provided by our waitress was fantastic and shame on me for forgetting her name! Other than that everything else was just ok. I wouldn't go back unless I was craving prime rib.

Don't forget to get your Player's Card to get your discount! Went for dinner for prime rib and so good! Had mashed potatoes and gravy with horseradish. Found the salmon dry even though they just put it out when I arrived so dunked it into the cocktail sauce I got for my shrimp and saved it. Garlic bread so good! Got ribs and elote corn on the cob. I did get broccoli from Asian section as it had more flavor than the steamed veggies. Egg roll was horrible and mushy!. Had liver and onions which I haven't had in years! All the desserts looked yummy but just got some jello and fruit. Beet salad and potato salad hit the spot. Barley beef soup was hot and comforting! Service was excellent.

This is one of the buffets that survived the COVID-19 pandemic. It is mediocre compared to buffets on The Strip, but also considerably lower in price. It's not vegan-friendly, but they had enough for me to get by on. For example, I made tacos with refried beans, rice, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, and salsa. From the Asian section, I got a good amount of mushrooms into the Mongolian stir-fry to make up for declining the meat options (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp). I asked if they had tofu, but the answer was, "no." This is unfortunate, given how cheap tofu is, and the good shelf life it has in the refrigerator, not to mention how much healthier it is.Service is good. Atmosphere is casual and relaxed.Dinner is normally $34 (or $30 with the South Point player's club card), and includes prime rib. The price increases to $53 (or $49 with club card) for seafood night on Fridays.

Came for the buffet, yes it's Veterans Day...If you know the Southpoint, the line for the Buffett starts down by the Sports Book and winds around. Not happening today. The Buffett opens at 7am and at 7:20 the line is still down by the sports book???New plan...good luck if you come here today.UPDATE!!!Went to the Coronado Cafe, pretty much no line when we went in. Now we are done and the line to the cafe is wrapped around the corner.Just for the fun of it, went to look at the Buffett line, 1hr & 20min later, the end of the line still starts at the sports book. They have someone giving out bottles of water to people in line. It's going to be a long wait if you are up to it for a free $20 breakfast...I'll pay for my food and be on my way today lol.

one of the last remaining buffets in vegas. It is simple but everything is at least good or great which is very fair for the price. Is it better than the fancy ones, no. But it is more reasonable and delivers great value.I love their prime rib nights, it never disappoints. The service is, however, always great.
