This place is amazing...from the steaks aging in the cases to the ambience to the wait staff. Everything was so good! We started with a Caesar salad with anchovies on the side. The anchovies were in a lemon juice so the perfect accompaniment to the salad. Also had the French onion soup, also amazing! Our entrees were filet mignon and on the bone New York strip, both cooked to perfection. We had a baked potato on the side that was huge! Suck a great dinner!

If you're looking for a steakhouse that takes meat seriously (and I mean seriously), Gallagher's is the place to be. Walking in, you're greeted by a beautiful display of dry-aged steaks, just hanging there like fine art in a museum--except here, you get to eat the masterpieces. Now, let's talk about the bone-in ribeye. This thing isn't just a steak; it's a commitment. It's so massive, I considered registering it as my emotional support animal. It arrived at the table sizzling like it had just come from a steak paradise, perfectly charred on the outside, juicy on the inside, and so flavorful I briefly considered writing it into my will.Service? Impeccable. The staff treated us like royalty, making sure our drinks were never empty and our steaks were cooked exactly how we wanted. The ambience is classic, old-school Vegas charm--dim lighting, dark wood, and an atmosphere that makes you want to sip whiskey and close a business deal (even if you don't have one).By the time I finished, I felt like I had conquered a carnivore's Mount Everest. If you love steak, Gallagher's is an absolute must. Just make sure you come hungry--and maybe bring a friend to help you tackle that ribeye.

Gallagher shame on you. Bad restaurant practice. We ordered one porterhouse steak and one ribeye steak TOGO. When we got back home and ate at our steak, I was flabbergasted that the ribeye had almost 20% of pure fat. Oh, and I ordered medium, needless to say it was almost well done. To the chef who cook this - shame on you. You have no morals being a chef to serve a customer a piece of steak of this quality.

The service was absolutely amazing. Brian did a great job, attentive, helpful and fun! My sister and I shared the prime rib and lobster tail and asparagus. It was more than enough for the two of us. We added the brandy peppercorn sauce which was very flavorful and really added to the prime rib. The lobster tail was 16 oz! And came with plenty of butter to dip it in. It was cooked to perfection. The prime rib was very flavorful however not as tender as I had hoped for but it was still really good and the portion size was huge! The asparagus was cooked perfectly and even though they were larger asparagus, they were still very tender and not tough. It is a little pricey but the portion sizes made it worthwhile and the service and the atmosphere was great!

Decided to try this place for an after work dinner. Located inside New York New York Hotel & Casino, I love how this grand steakhouse sits tucked in the corner of a food court of sorts. It was during the CES convention so it was pretty packed with steady service but we only waited 5 min for a table for 2 - the hostess and manager were gracious and conversational, and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the NY Strip (since that's what they're known for), Chilean seabass and lobster Mac & cheese to share with 2 mocktails (dry January). While the vibe was nice, the food was a little underwhelming. I was expecting an amazing steak, but it was pretty standard (good, but standard). The seabass had that 'seafood' taste and was a little overcooked and the lobster Mac & cheese while runny, was delicious albeit a little salty. In my opinion the dishes were pretty standard. This is a good medium between hyper fine dining and casual dining

In these two photos shown, is a Center Cut Filet Mignon and a Porterhouse steak. Side of buttered mashed potatoes. With peppercorn sauce. I would say, the food was very underwhelming to me... I have heard many are in waitlists out in New York to eat there; meanwhile you can walk into here and get seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food just wasn't as good as we remembered... Quality had went down tremendously. The music and atmosphere is dim with great 80-90s music which I loved. Gallagher's was a hard pass, would not come again...

Great Steak @ A Good PriceSmiling, friendly staff behind the bar keep a close eye on things offering banter and suggestions upon request. Perfect for single eaters. I'm a big fan of Bone-In! Gallagher's Bone-in Rib Eye $68 is a huge cut and easily shared. Start with the Gallagher's Wedge $13 and a side of Creamed Spinach $15 and you'll need a doggie bag. Pair with a medium bodied Cab and enjoy. My only complaint is they don't offer 1/2 side orders. It's a lot for one person. I've enjoyed this recipe for success at Gallagher's many times and I look forward to many more. Thank you

Great steaks! We went to Gallagher's on a recommendation from a bartender at Excalibur, so I decided that he probably knows best. It's a classic steakhouse vibe, fancy and business casual dress code. No doubt, we had a great meal - but there were some issues. First, we started with salad and an appetizer, escargot. The escargot came with a little puffed pastry on top - which is fine - but when I actually got to the escargot, it was absolutely tiny. When we ordered our appetizer and drinks, the waitress asked if we'd like to place our entree orders now and save some time - sure, why not. Nope. She was saving time for her trying to flip our table as fast as she could, we were definitely being rushed - that's just wrong when you're spending that kind of money. Steaks were excellent, I had a filet Oscar style and my friend had the dry-aged New York strip. Then dessert and a Tawny port with some crème brulée to finish it off. Food was decent, service was rushed - overall, I'd recommend it 100%, but don't let them rush you.

Second time dining here. This is the place that started my craving for old fashioned steakhouses in Vegas. With so many it's hard to decide.Located in the New York New York hotel and casino food and service is always spot on. Can be a little on the loud side but still not a problem.Like the ambiance and the old school vibe!

I sat at the bar 5 nights this week. I love food but service is most important to me. Joe, Austen, Yael, Ted, Tamara...the best bar staff I've experienced in a very long time. I met all of these amazing people over the last 3 years and it's consistent. I highly recommend this restaurant and especially the bar!
