Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos

My first time here. Ordered a shrimp burrito and 2 mini tacos to go. good first-order was ready quickly 10-12min -staff member at register was polite and offered more salsa which now I know why! -green salsa was goodWhy I wouldn't go back -pricing was very high for what I got ($26) -chicken taco was the smallest you can imagine with nothing other than tortilla and dry small pieces of chicken. You get more and better chicken at pollo loco.. it was supposed to have cilantro and onion but NOPE-tiny shrimp taco for $5 had 1 and half shrimp lol. and some smushed paper and onion (fajita style) lol -shrimp burrito for $16 came with ton of rice few smaller shrimp and a touch of avocado lol its was so small I had to open the entire burrito to look for avocado! -either the menu is misleading or the staff are great at being stingy with ingredients-over all everything tasted blah without the green salsa. (Staff member knew that's why he was trying to give me more) lol Fail! :(

It was my first time coming here. I ordered chicken taquitos with rice and beans combo.It was very good tasty. I appreciated the service that I received. The place was spacious and clean. I will come back again and try other things that are offered

Yesterday, we checked out the Frijoles and Fresca spot on Charleston. We'd given another location a shot a couple of years ago, but it didn't wow us. This time, though, it hit the spot perfectly.The lady at the counter was super nice. The dining area was clean and roomy, which we liked. We went for a shrimp quesadilla, asking for it crispy, and they nailed it. The sauces on the table were tasty, too. We also grabbed some street corn, and even though it was out of season, it was surprisingly good.My wife went for three tacos: Al pastor, carnitas, and shrimp. The Al pastor was the winner by a long shot. She also got chips and beans, which she dug, and an Horchata that she couldn't get enough of.No doubt about it, we'll be back for more of those quesadillas and Al pastor goodness.

Ordered through DoorDash at 8:43, got the ceviche tostada and the 5 rolled tacos topped with cheese lettuce guac and sour cream. You couldn't get much wrong with this order if you tried. Well, they did.:( Atleast my girlfriend got hers right?

Al pastor delicious. Wow! Clean restrooms, two salsa on table. Juniors menu. Great guacamole. Fairly priced. Spacious dining area.

A client suggested we meet at this store near his office. There's a large private lot and plenty of seating. I'm so down with Mexican food, so I've had some of the best of everything. I ordered a Carne Asada Salad. Delicious AF! The right amount of romaine, frijoles, tomatoes, avocado, and plenty of seasoned steak. The guacamole dressing just was fabulous!I could eat this every day, but I will settle for once a week!PS - the staff are absolutely accommodating and kind!

Came here for lunch. Authentic Mexican taco restaurant. Ambiance was ok. Service was quick. Counter service but food made fresh. Got the burritos and mini taco meal. Came with a drink and chips with salsa. Food was pretty good. Taco was quite good as were the burritos. Prices more than you would expect for counter service restaurant.

They don't do taco salads here-sad story. But their nachos are delish and the perfect serving size. I literally demolished my plate of carne asada nachos. They have pico, chips and you guessed it frijoles a la carte should you want that with your meal. They offer red (spicy) and green (mild) salsa at each table should you feel so inclined. Also tried a LARGE mango aguas Fresca which was massive and flavorful. It wasn't too sweet and definitely quenched my craving. Plenty of parking available in the private lot. Located across the street from Hush Puppies restaurant and in the same shopping center as Kelly's 24 hour gaming. Service is fast friendly and welcoming. Ambiance is trendy and laid back. Definitely a family friendly place to dine.

Great food and good service. Been going to this location since it opened. Very convenient! Recommended.
