Fox Smokehouse BBQ

While visiting Lake Mead, I stumbled upon Fox Smokehouse BBQ in Boulder City. With so many fast food options around, I'm sooo glad I stopped here instead of a chain restaurant. I ordered the burnt ends and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked with a great blend of meat and fat, giving them that rich, tender, melt-in-your-mouth flavor. Pro tip: if you're not a fan of fatty cuts, this will not be your thing but for me, it was spot on.The service was courteous and well-timed, adding to the overall great experience.If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely come back. Highly recommend if you're in Boulder City and craving some quality BBQ!

We tried this place on a whim.Great atmosphere. Resonable prices. I had the beef n cheddar sandwich. You couldn't pick it up without getting it all over your hands. It was GLORIOUS!!!I'd order it again in a second.Wife had brisket sandwich, she said it was really good.Fries were meh, frozen crinkle cuts but the dippin' sauce made up for it. Lot of weekend bikers with a chill kinda vibe.Good & quick service.I would eat here again for sure.

After visiting Lake Mead, we were in the mood for some BBQ and stumbled upon this spot. We received wonderful service while sitting at the bar. The menu was a bit overwhelming, but the bartender made it easier by recommending the burnt ends and brisket. We ordered our favorite sides - sweet fries and coleslaw. The BBQ was delicious and paired perfectly with the pineapple Mai Tai.Please note that there is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments.

We were here about a month ago, had to bring my Mom-in-law, and Fox did NOT disappoint!The beef ribs are amazing, full of smokey flavor, but I couldn't eat them all, taking two of them home.The baby backs were fall off of the bone, and the rib tips were huge and full of flavor.. Can't wait to go back and try another dish.!

I've heard tales of how good this place is and how I've got to try it. My dad has also heard these tales for years but we just never made it out. Last night though, we finally did, you know, a little treat for ourselves, and honestly we were shocked.Upon entering, we were greeted with friendly faces and a bustling restaurant. We were also greeted by a bunch of very large trophies and Las Vegas' Best awards. Now, I didn't take a close look at them because of how good I heard this place was, so I assumed they were first place trophies and best in the valley awards. After eating here though, I'm just going to assume they are participation trophies. Now, the menu actually looks bomb and got me really excited. There are specials, amazing looking sandwiches, family platters, and of course the a la carte section where everyone should really start when at a good BBQ place. Upon gazing over that section though, the prices seemed quite high, so we opted to only get two a la carte options, 1/2 lb each of burnt ends and sausage, and then two sandwiches, the Oklahoman sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese, and the Brisket sandwich with a side of fries. My dad also got the Up in Smoke Cocktail. The cocktail came out super quick and was incredibly tasty, sweet, smoky and had a bit of spice to it. Let me tell you, that cocktail had more flavor than anything else we put in our mouths that entire night. The burnt ends came out and were actually burnt and quite dry, the sausage was a bit lukewarm, and everything, including both sandwiches lacked flavor. There were two sauces that you could use, a "hot" BBQ sauce and a sweet BBQ sauce. I am not even joking, these both tasted like watered down marinara. Even then, we needed to douse the meats with these sauces to get any semblance of flavor, even if that flavor was spaghetti. The only above average parts of the meal, besides the cocktail, were the sides. The macaroni was creamy and cheese and the fries were crispy and had a nice flavor to them. I don't necessarily consider myself a BBQ expert but after eating the best BBQ I've ever had in Texas and far better BBQ at many other places in town (shout out to Bell's BBQ and John Mulls Meats), I honestly can't even consider this BBQ. As a saving grace, there was nothing that we had that was actually bad. Everything was edible and filling and did the trick for dinner but that's nothing to be proud of or have awards for.

Have heard great things about this place but haven't been. So this was our opportunity while my sons and I were visiting Boulder City. We grabbed some fried pickles and wings off of the happy hour menu. We each ordered and entree one did the build your own combo and 2 of us did sliders with 2 different meats. The food came out all together and we were over by the sheer quantity of the food. The fried pickles were plentiful. The sliders were huge as they were 2 nice sized rolls. The build your own combo was well appointed as well. Service was good and the place is a busy country like bar. Would definitely recommend if you like bbq and are in BC.

We went to Boulder City's wine walk and definitely needed some food afterwards. We're glad that we found Fox Smokehouse BBQ! Everything was great here. The service was friendly and the food was great. I had the beef and cheddar with Mac n cheese and it was delicious! We also had the fried pickles which were fantastic. There were so many yummy options on the menu, it was hard to choose. We'll have to come back!

Satisfied!Last night our dinner plans with friends were crashed! Yea you heard it correctly, crashed. Upon arrival at our dinner plans, they were completely out of food at 6:30!. We had dined here as couples before so we wanted to revisit that place but Fox Bar b que saved the day!We were greeted with a smile, seated immediately, live music on the other side of the restaurant but we only knew because we saw. It was never an interference with our conversation. The dining area is large, hospitable with both chairs and wood benches( one of the seat cushions lifted but we replaced it without missing a bite, lol) We looked, in a non-intrusive manner, at the live menu all around us and the food looked good to my guest( I have ordered take out several times so I set an expectation), plus we were hungry. The menu is vast, almost 10 side choices, 2 sauce levels, and large portions. Everything was good: company, service, beverages and food. We talked with the guest on two sides and brought a straggler that followed from the initial meeting spot. Thanks Taylor (server)

Went in for Wednesday buy one, get 2nd half off for baby back ribs. So darn good. 2 racks of ribs make multiple meals for us. So we took at least half the ribs home. We also ordered the 50/50. I preferred the Mac n cheese, hubby preferred the baked beans. So win - win. Service was friendly and efficient. We sat n the dining room (not the bar). A few tvs scattered around on the walls playing sports channels.We will continue to get our bbq at Foxes.

Service was nice and the food was delicious. Just the Mack and cheese I wish I would know it was a little spicy . I had to order french fries in the side cause my daughter couldn't eat it. The ambience was nice and family friendly. The only thing I will say is that they really need extra parking space we had to park far away because it was not space for us to park.
