Foothills Cafe

This place is actually great! I have been staying at the hospital with a family member and this place is so convenient for anyone that is at the hospital. The food is tasteful. They used quality ingredients. Also to note, the price is wonderful for the food here. It is inexpensive. 3 family members(adults) for lunch ate under $17.00. If you are staying at the hospital, I would highly recommend checking this place out for food. There is a wide selection also. The cafe has pizza, open salad bar, and a grill area. The grill area offers your typical food such as burgers, chicken tenders, chicken wrap, french fries etc.

Unexpectedly, the food was so delicious. Of course we hear about how hospital food is the gross, but the food price is very reasonable, and the ingredients are very fresh. I tried the grilled cheese on white, freshly fried chicken wings, the patty melt on sourdough and on rye, and so many others. The food taste and presentation are a little different based on the chef who is on call. If you're really hungry, call 911 .

I've had the misfortune of eating lunch here two days in a row while visiting my brother. Both times, I found the chicken sandwiches to be pre-cooked and overcooked to be dry and rubbery. Today I tried to get a combo meal and was told the cups were by the soda fountain. I did see the sign by the grill that it was a 16 oz drink. However the cups were unlabeled and I'm not enough of a chemical engineer to be able to eyeball assess the fluid capacity of white styrofoam cups. The cashier told me I had the wrong size and when I explained what happened, she dismissively told me that the cup size was explained on the sign at the grill. The prices are very reasonable and the fries at least were tasty. They also have a wide variety of drinks and tasty looking snacks. However, the next time I need a meal while visiting this hospital, I'll just drive to the nearest restaurant.

Had the misfortune of eating here the first day my husband was in the hospital. I wanted to get a salad but if you bought a salad you had to pay extra for the salad dressing. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY. I wound up with a grilled chicken sandwich -ugh. It was about the size of a half dollar and dry and rubbery as another reviewer said. I ordered onion rings that were not even warm. They were COLD. I have been bringing my lunch since then.

I absolutely recommend this place, the prices are right and the food is delicious!! I had, breakfast, lunch, dinner and all really good!! I had to stay three days at the hospital and I enjoyed eating there!

Pizza was delicious and fresh.No tomatoes or lettuce for your hamburgers.Staff didn't greet me and appeared pretty miserable.But the pizza was yummy and the price was appropriate !Located within the lobby of the hospital !!
