Flare Bar

Fire orange like the colors of the Phoenix, then a switch to neon blue hues of color all above me! How appealing and seductive the lights are!Flare is an extremely unique experience and lure! The lights continually change making drinking oh so exclusive and fun!On my most recent visit, I lent my ear for someone that so badly needed just someone to listen too. This someone is my bff. I will always have her back, and vice versa. Where better than a bar to distract her. The lights of flare have always been something that distracts her. Wanting to stay away from the strip and closer to home this bar is a fantastic location for both of us. Flare is located in the Silverton Hotel in the middle of the casino. Free covered parking, no cover, minimal people, andnot touristy; perfect place for us. We arrive at different times, with my friend still stuck in traffic I just sit with a beer waiting. After she arrives she orders a Crown and Coke. I give the bartender the card and ask him to start a tab. As we sit here the orange and red hues wash over us from above, bathing us in its color. As it switches to bluish green we notice the pink coloring. My bff is smiling now we are getting somewhere. The smile from my bff is perfection and it is so great to see her smile. The tears were checked at the elevator as I watched her approach Flare and her eyes were immediately engulfed in the changing lights from above my head as I sat at the bar. Getting up I hugged my bff and the bartender seemed particularly interested in my friends unsettled mood. The bartender even asked what was bothering her. This bartender was so attentive to our order ensuring that we were not bothered by anyone asking to buy us a drink or if we needed a shoulder to cry on. As we drank the compassionate side of the bartender was fantastic. He even bought us a round of Crown and Coke too. Aside from having a wonderful bartender, whom was alert and always on his toes for keeping our drinks coming and water cups filled. The bar is a great place to try your luck with blackjack. The machines on the counter are level enough with the most comfortable chairs that I have sat in. The chairs at the bar are white bar type stools that are very fancy. This bar has that old world feel to it. Having traveled to many places, my favorite were those small homely places that are so ordinary that you have to stumble upon it to know it's greatness.When I discovered Flare my husband was gambling and I wanted a drink. The color changing of the lights beckoned to me. Answering the call, I discovered my cozy new place. My bff fell in love with the concept they used in designing the bar. As I listen to my bff the lights above keep changing. My eyes are constantly being drawn to those tempting lights. After a while the Crown and Coke got old, plus we wanted to walk out of the bar after drinking; and not be carried. Switching it up we asked our bartender what he would drink after so much Crown and Coke. His suggestion was beer. They offer a special happy hour price for $4.00 a bottle for Miller Lite. That's what we had, everyone likes happy hour prices. With work tomorrow and my bff mood changed we are going to find some food. They do not sell food here so it's off to find something delicious to absorb all the alcohol we partook of. In our merriment the service and atmosphere of Flare was exactly what we needed to reset ourselves. Come and see what the lights of Flare will do to you. The experience was magical and the bartender was fantastic. Thanks to making our troubles wash away and be replaced with hues of new color to enchant our week!

Beautiful 2 sided bar top bar with a bunch of beers on tap and bottle. Attentive service. Big comfy bar high chairs. Pretty tubed lightings that changes hues, nothing flashing.Saw more beer and whiskey drinks. Not so much tossing bottles in the air and martinis when I stopped by. Thought it was that kind of a "flare" bartender bar.

Love this poker bar when it's not teeming with smokers. The decor is funky and the color changing lighting is awesome. Big, comfy chairs guarantee you will be here a while. The draft beer selection is decent- Anchor Steam, Stella, Blue Moon. Years ago when this bar opened, they featured speciality cocktails that were very good. I always forget to ask if they still serve them. The bar is 2 sided, with poker machines on both sides. And it's centrally located within the casino.

I've come here on a few occasions, usually while waiting for a table at Twin Creeks or just to sit and get a drink with friends after having getting our fill at one of the restaurants and having an after meal drink. The bar stools are a nice change of pace. Comfortable and welcoming. Always happy to have a comfortable seat while having a drink. The service is pretty good as well. Silverton always has great drink specials and this place doesn't disappoint.

This is just another casino bar that has two sides to it. The reason I am reviewing it is because of the Thursday Pub Crawl. Its the 2nd stop of the night from 8-9 you get any drink for $1. Well we already had a few at Mermaids but we were still not quite where we wanted to be yet buzz wise so we ordered a round from the nicest bartender. He was great at what he made and easy on the eyes. We ordered several more drinks from him and had a blast at the bar. It was a festive mood & everyone was enjoying the drinks. The Silverton is wise to have such a great weekly event!

Best bartenders, best drinks, worst keno. But life isn't all about our wins, it's about the friends we make during our adventures (losing at keno)

Based on the other and only review, I've got to add a "Bravo" to Pat at this bar.The 4 of us had a blast at Silverton on this trip. We're in Vegas 3 times a year, for the past 35 years, ouch!At the Flare bar is "Pat", the coolest bartender with fabulous customer service skills.Yes, ladies he is easy on the eyes!!!!!We witnessed his skills when he put out a fire! Another couple had just been to a restaraunt there, Friday night, "Buy One Get One ' promo and weren't happy about their experience. They were local I think, and describing their experience to "Pat" after dinner while they were having cocktails. Pat contacted the Manager of food service who came over to the couple and asked what had happened and did everything he needed to to make the couples issues a little better and not loose them as a return customer. They were much happier after they got there situation aired. If Pat hadn't picked up on this, they would have told lots of their friends about their negative experience, nothing wouls have been resolved and it would have been so sad for the food service. That said, we had lunch at the buffet one day. It was totally good...I'm a Weighht Watcher Leader. I don't eat bad food. Or tolerate bad service!Then we made reservations at Twin Creek. The 4 of us all having different entres and were very happy. So happy we made a late reservation for the next night and totally enjoyed that experience also. Our servers were great . The place was very busy. Ours waiters were attentive and genuinely there to make our experience a fun one. I love the decore' and background music, lighting, and bar service. Our bus boy even remembered us from the night before and brought over the last of the pretzel breads for the night. How sweet!So we will be back in December for New Years week, we're already looking forward to the parmessan crispies.The drink specials during the week are great and not watered down.The bowling alley at Sports books was so cool. You get better after a couple of drinks!!!!We came over to the Casino to look at boats, we got a pleasant suprise and bonuses to our week of casino hopping.Great job Pat, keep up the good work!
