Family Soul

The restaurant is now unfortunately closed but a catering service is available, and we used them for a Family Reunion hosted at the Echelon Event Center. From the minute, Ramona & Daniel, sate together with us to plan the menu, solved problems with another venue for us, we felt like we had a true partner and friend in our goal to make this event memorable for people who traveled form near and far. The quality and quantity of food, the variety, and the presentation were absolutely amazing. Family Soul had also provided us with (plastic) china & silverware which just looked stunning. The service was impeccable, the pricing was more than fair considering the amount of food we received. We cannot recommend their services enough and will certainly use Family Soul Catering again for any and all upcoming events.

I used to be able to order from here but now I can't. They're always so busy they cannot accommodate me even at 3:30 in the afternoon. Don't know what's going on but I am not happy. Tried door dash which I had to go through with the signing up process (bullshit), only to have them tell me they were too busy and could not accept my order, after I gave them my payment information!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So I tried Postmates and it was the same thing. So goodbye family soul. Loved your catfish and greens but hey, I'll find another, better place, that won't treat me like I don't matter. Good luck.

The closest thing to be at your mom's house. And it's real catfish and not that other swai that they pretend to be.... Sides was exceptionally a good size.

Felt like some soul food and drove from Vegas Strip to Family Soul. It's about 20-25 min drive. When I walk inside business it was quiet and I was the only customer there. It was 12:30pm on a Friday by the way. So I ordered some catfish with yams and Mac n cheese. Catfish was descent as well as yams. Mac n cheese wasn't that good...and tasted dry. Overall the place is pretty good. If you feel like some soul food swing on by.

The customer service of this establishment will always make me return. I bought a Groupon in hopesof getting the ever elusive smothered turkey wings. When I went there, they only had the drumstick, and I only wanted the flat part of the turkey wing. Please don't think I'm being specific, but I was being specific. They were so kind and generous and said since we don't have, but you want the next time you come, will reduce your bill and will do our very best to get what you need that alone I appreciate it. I ended up getting the catfish dinner with the greens and sweet potatoes but I really want the turkey wings. Oh well next time.

When you enter an establishment you expect to be greeted with a happy host to greet you. We got no type of hello or hi how are you doing. Reaching now to the menu, "no we ain't got no hot links" for a simple hot link sandwich. That's okay how about we order something else. I order 2 catfish sandwiches, and I get NO response on a side I get to order. This nonsense came from the young lady at the front and her only. When the food was done the young man only brought one order which was a messed up. I guess why... The young man let her know that when they have orders please be accurate. He apologized and said it will be a few minutes. I did press him about what sides because I wasn't given an option for sides when it came to it. On the female at the front that has no care in the world. He said that the french fries that came were ordered by default. The young lady at the front is a real problem when it comes to owning and operating a business. Straight disrespect, acting like you don't want to be there, no eye contact, talking low and uninterested in whoever is in front of her. Automatic attitude that I had to deal with in front of my 87 year old grandfather. The cooks did a decent job, it's food at this point after dealing with the young lady at the counter. Again the young guy cleaning the table, bringing the food as well as taking a call while I was there, went above and beyond. The young lady, well, she needs to figure it out in life, no being soft about it after the service with her.

Not the friendliest place nor the food as appetizing as expected. Greens and cabbage was salty which it not good for most people. And macaroni and cheese was dry. Maybe because it was late in the day and no other patrons were there the customer service didn't have to be on point. But atmosphere and seating felt good for a locally owned restaurant. But good service and smiling faces always helps even if the food is bad. No plans to revisit.

Just came into this place at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The girl at the front counter had her head on the counter. Looked at me with an attitude. Asked if this was the only menu because there was only a couple of things on it. She told me to turn it over and proceeded back into the kitchen. Came back out and told me they were closed. There hours on the sign were 12-8. Will not get a second chance from me.

The best can't wait to go back when I return. The bowls are delicious the cornbread just delicious

I ordered food and they were closed on the app. It says that they were open until 8 o'clock. I put my order in at 6:30. I go to pick it up at 7 o'clock and they were closed and it looks like they are out of business so where is my $67 that I paid for when you call the number it's out of service. That's very bad business.
