Let me start by saying the service was great. I can't remember our servers name but he was an older African American male and he was full of knowledge as it pertains to the menu, he made sure items we wanted to share were split properly and made sure to check on us frequently. We ordered the clam chowder and a salad to start and the chowder was a hit! The Jambalaya had a little spice to it but overall it was good. Now the salmon was cooked to perfection. I love when salmon has a little crisp to it and the sautéed mushrooms on the plate were good as well. The ambiance was calm with soft music playing. Occasionally you could hear the band from across the way but it didn't ruin the vibe.

We met Executive Chef Ken and sat in Gill's section again. Again, another delectable experience! Chef Ken and his team brings the best of Emeril's recipes and adds a Hawaiian umami flare to the menu. Can't wait to come back!

So fabulous!! I'm remembering this meal from several weeks ago!! OMG...the service, the food, and the ambiance were all spectacular. Starting with the food;EMERIL'S NEW ORLEANS BARBECUE SHRIMP Rosemary Biscuit & Chives | 28FRESHLY SHUCKED OYSTERS* GF Half Dozen Of Our Daily Selection, Cucumber & SeaweedMignonette, Habanero Pepper Water | 28We also had the Ahi Tuna special which was $68.Everything we ate was so flavorful!! We were so extraordinarily impressed with the attentiveness of our servers Gil and Joan. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the wait staff including the manager showed up to serve all guests (9?) their entrees at the same time. We loved our experience so much that we will definitely come back the next time we hit Vegas!!

The restaurant is very open and clean. The wine library looks amazing to the decor. The service was excellent. Very attentive and courteous. From the support to the waiter were amazing. Rob was awesome. Great service. Jack needs a promotion; brought our food quickly and was aware of when to take our finished dishes. Even packed up our leftovers. Food was delicious. The clam chowder was very nice. They were kind enough to split it for us as well before bringing to the table. The jambalaya was well seasoned. Shrimp was cooked well and the rice was top notch. Dessert, crème brûlée with fresh fruit was good. Not too sweet and the sugar crackling was done nicely. Definitely would come back here.

I've always wanted to try Emeril Lagasse's restaurant, and my husband surprised me with a reservation. The food was delicious, no complaints there. However, the service was disappointing. Both my husband and I ordered mains (around $65 each) and asked separately if they were enough on their own. The server insisted the portions were very small--for example, he said my 6 oz. sea bass would barely be filling. Therefore, we trusted him and both ordered a side. When the food arrived, we realized we had been misled. The mains were perfectly sufficient, and the sides were massive--easily meals on their own. We ended up wasting food because we couldn't take leftovers back to our hotel. This led to a very bad taste in my mouth. The server just wanted us to order more food which will result in higher tip. In general we could have really enjoyed our experience and the food. I ended up stuffing myself because I knew I would had to throw away good food. BTW, he fooled the table beside us. They too ordered way too much food.

We wandered in and managed to get a table immediately for a party of two. It's located in mgm around a bunch of other eateries. Service was top notch. We started with the poke and were surprised by how big the portion was! I then had the pasta and my husband fish. Food was amazing. Definitely felt like a higher end restaurant but prices weren't awful.

We frequent Emeril's in NOLA, so thought we'd hit up the Vegas location on our trip. Restaurant is tucked pretty deep into the hotel so don't be shy to ask security for directions.Music and environment was perfect. Drinks were delicious. Food was fantastic. Service was so-so. There were gaps of 5-9min between seeing our server anywhere around. We almost were late for our Cirque show in the hotel due to being unable to pay. If you've never been to an Emeril's restaurant and want to try, I'd say visit this one in Vegas. If you have been...I'd say skip this and go to Joe's Seafood and Prime Steak. It feels close to what other Emeril's restaurants feel like - especially in NOLA.

Emeril's has been a mainstay of the MGM Grand for decades. Maybe in the past, it never lived up to the hype of the Emeril's TV show. On a recent visit, they seemed to have refreshed the place, which gives it a legitimate restaurant feel rather than simply another celebrity gimmick vibe.Menu was leaning into Creole. Jambalaya is going to be your best bet. One issue with this place would be the lack of fresh fish options. Every day, there's a sandwich board with the fresh options by the hostess station, but the section was like one or two.Overall, this is a good place at MGM Grand.
