Emerald Island Grill

First I'd like to say the staff and service is EXCELLENT! Loved the charming atmosphere. BUT the food lately has been below par. Yes, it's super affordable but I guess you get what you pay for. Then there's the ANNOUNCEMENTS for open tables. REALLY! do they need to announce over the casino speaker system which is SUPER LOUD, "Bill your table is ready in the Emerald Grill. Bill your table is ready in the Emerald Grill. Thank you". Too many words people! There is only one place to eat. I don't think anyone would be confused as to where to go when they hear their name called. And they always say it twice. It's even worse when there are multiple parting who's tables are being called. And the, "Thank you" at the end is also unnecessary. Those announcements were SO LOUD and annoying that we left.

Very nice! You have to walk through a smokey Casino to get to the restaurant (which is a negative). The restaurant is open to the casino (no door blocking the smoke from the restaurant); however, we sat in the back and it was VERY nice (no notible smoke). The prices are GREAT! And the breakfast was really good. It tasted better than it looked. If you are looking for presentation this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for good food at a decent price you should give it a try.

Honestly, the food was better than expected. We had received a free burger combo for joining Club Jewel. Hubs was going to pass but I was like "hey, free is free!" The restaurant is larger than it looks; there are two rooms. We were seated in the inner room, which was a good thing because even from the inner room, the smoke from the casino was pretty prevalent. Hubs ordered the bbq smoked beef ribs and I ordered the burger combo (of course!) His order came with a side salad and I was surprised that it was mixed greens instead of just iceberg. My burger was cooked a perfect medium with oozy cheddar cheese and the fries were nice and crispy. The combo came with a free drink, too! Hubs enjoyed the ribs and said the side of beans was tasty. Our service was friendly.Emerald Island Grill is not fancy and we thought the food was good bang for your buck. However, the cigarette smoke is difficult to deal with. The casino is very smoky and we thought the restaurant would provide a respite from it. Even though we were in the back room, it was still pretty bad. If the ventilation was better, we'd go back.

This isn't better than Outback or Black Angus, but it's much better than the South Pointe Casino deal. Considering the cost and what you get, it's not bad at all.I ordered the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes, and another with fries (the fries were excellent). The food was cooked well and tasted amazing for the price point.The shrimp cocktail exceeded my expectations--thumbs up!The house salad was below average, so I exchanged it for soup. The soup was decent, though my kid loved the salad more than I did. LOL.Overall, it's a great deal! For $24.99, you get steak & lobster, an appetizer (shrimp cocktail), and soup or salad--amazing value!One of the best deals in town!

We had some time to kill after finishing some errands so we decided to stop in for a quick breakfast since it's right around the corner from our home. We were expecting a diner menu, and were seated pretty quickly after we checked in. The restaurant is actually super spacious, there are two split areas for seating. The only thing I noticed was the tables, booths and 1/2 booths are extremely close to each other so there isn't much privacy. We ordered the The feast, coffee and soda The service, food and the ambiance was honestly subpar. The food didn't taste hot, or fresh, the bacon was burnt at the ends, we didn't get much service after receiving our food, so we had to flag anyone down for refills. Also, they give you a slice of watermelon with your food. I mean it's a great deal, but I'm picky over certain things, it's placed right on top of your food. It weirds me out when food does that! The entire food was an assembly, kitchen style feel, and I will not be back. Maybe their lunch or dinner options are better, or if you're hungover the breakfast will get you through. However, if you're looking for taste and a fresh breakfast, I do not think this will satisfy that

This place has become my "go to" for dinner. The daily specials are really good, well worth the price you pay. Fridays are the best, steak & lobster...yummy! And the service is outstanding! Shout out to Lesley, Ayden, Richie...you guys are awesome. Always on top of things and making sure your customers are happy.

This place is located right inside the Emerald Island Casino. The food is very good, the prices are very reasonable and I found the service to be friendly and attentive. The only negative is that the restaurant is somewhat small and cramped and it can be noisy. It also gets very busy here, so you might have to wait for a table. I did have to wait for a few minutes the time I was there and then got seated at a small table in a crowded area. They have a number of daily specials and it looks like everything there is quite tasty. For the money you really can't beat it if you are willing to deal with these issues.

1. Food breakfast was outstanding.2. Speakers with obnoxious "music" was way too loud.3. Smelly from either cooking or smokers4. Crowded dining areas. I got rubbing elbows with next table.5. Parking sucked

I've been dining here almost 8 years and the food has always been fantastic. My favorite is Clams Linguine on Monday night. Every time we dine there on Monday I order the same, clams linguine with white sauce. Tonight (02/17/25) we went for our anniversary and I ordered the Clams Linguine, but it wasn't the same. It was more like clams linguine with water sauce. No garlic or white wine in this dish, just bland flavor. I will try it again, but if this is your new way of preparing it, it will be my last time ordering it. I did stop by the store on the way home and bought some white wine in hopes of doctoring it up. Maybe some garlic, white wine, oregano, and olive oil will bring some flavor to it.

We wanted to try this place since it's close to the ice rink. Food was reasonably priced. They had a lot of awesome specials but they started at 11pm and we got there at 10pm. We really liked the garlic bread basket with the marinara sauce. I got the sampler and it was good. The onion rings had a bit too much breading for me though. I got my wings with no sauce and they were yummy. The service was excellent and they kept coming back to check on us. So yes, we got plenty of refills on coffee.
