Wow this the real deal and the perfect place to go after shopping at Trader Joe's across the street. You know this is an authentic place right next to a Mexican Supermarket. The seafood soup orden was amazing... Perfect blend of Mexican spices and generous amounts of shrimp and fish. You can smell the aroma when they serve it to you nice and hot.Staff is very helpful in suggestions... No need to speak Spanish (mine is good enough for basic conversation). The patrons there are friendly too.. don't be shy to ask what they ordered.. everything just looks good. All of this for very reasonable prices too.Highly recommended.

The food, including meat and seafood, was just okay. While the service and atmosphere were decent, the prices were too high for the quality and setting. This was reflected in the low customer turnout. If they don't adjust, they won't last.

I'm not quite sure why I'm thinking of Bieber right now.El Yaquesito is a Mexican restaurant, or specifically Sonoran specialists. They're part of a Latin-American food renaissance in this Henderson plaza anchored by La Bonita, and were themselves reborn from the proverbial ashes of the former location of Tu Sabor Cafe (and possibly by the same owners considering that the Wi-Fi is still active - I guess crepes weren't the way to go).Inside, the layout is the same as Tu Sabor Cafe and the seating capacity remains reasonable for a smaller spot. Ordering is also counter-service, as is pickup of said order. The service is friendly enough, although I had to rely on my high school Spanish skills to overcome a moderate language barrier at times when I had questions (mostly about the menu) and requests (mostly for a cup of water).Their Taco Pastor ($2.99), aka marinated pork, is a pretty tasty rendition for something not coming off a vertical rotisserie. The pork is flavorful and not dry. You can get pineapple diced to a similar size as the pork too, and it adds the right flavor without being overwhelming. I also enjoyed playing around with their six salsa served in small squeeze bottles. There's a tomato salsa already on the taco, but all the ones which I added on were delicious. Oh, and radish and cucumber slices come on the plate too.The Taco Lengua ($3.99), which is beef tongue, was plated alongside the Taco Pastor. Its protein portion is maybe a little smaller than some spots, but it is delicious and super tender. The default salsa would have sufficed on this one. The tortillas did seem to get a little wet, but at least they gave me a fork on this plate.Taco Combinado w/ Aleta ($6.99): a massive pile of cubed and cooked tuna, shrimp, and manta. The proteins were all cooked nicely, including the cartilaginous piece presumably coming from a manta. There was so much protein that it was a bit unwieldly, so the aforementioned fork had more utility.I had to try a Sonoran dog, and after an employee showed me the detailed handheld menu, I got a Chile-Dogo Quesojumbo ($6.99). I can't recall all of the ingredients, but there was cream cheese and I believe some ham in addition to a Regular dogo. The ingredients were all generous and flavorful, but I couldn't get past that they use a non-beef frank, most likely turkey. I suppose the prices compared to the typical hot dog meta should've clued me in, but I was disappointed. I am willing to pay more for and enjoy some beef dogs, please and thank you.By the way, the employee did upsell me on some fries (+$1.00) with the dogo. The fries were greasier and some of the thicker pieces were perhaps a bit greener than expected, but they were generally crispy enough and soft inside. You might as well include the fries when offered since it's decent value for the small portion, but I'm not sure whether they come with anything other than the turkey dogs.El Yaquesito is a good casual taqueria, which Henderson can't have too many of. I'll come back to try other proteins and menu sections (such as burritos and quesadillas). I would just skip the dogos unless you are inexplicably a big fan of turkey-based sausage.

Wow! I really like the Chille Dogo. A hot dog with a Chille Relleno. A bit messy to eat. Not recommended prior to meetings it will put you to sleep.Best eaten when it's fresh like the fish taco since the batter gets soggy.

Small little spot! Not close to the strip but worth the drive! I will definitely go back again! The restaurant looks clean new! And love the drawings on the wall! Aguachile: wasn't the best but good enough to take my craving away! Better than anything in Dallas !! CAHUAMANTA: was super good!! Highly recommend!!!Taco de pescado: good ! Not as good as Ensenada Baja tacos but the flavor was good! Taco Gobernador: was really good- Taco de rib-eye : way to dry! Compared to all the food we tasted here this was the worst! Won't have this again! I can't wait to go again! I love this little spot!!

I went in to order food. The lady that helped me was in the process of cleaning shrimp with gloves on. She never changed the gloves nor did she take them off to bring up the cash register. Absolutely disgusting I would never eat there. The health department needs to check them out

The food is exquisite and authentic with the freshest ingredients. We had the empanada and fresh guacamole dip and chips for appetizer. Our main courses were shrimp and fish tacos. We also had their tacos de Cahaumanta, de Pescado y Camaron. Omg how flavorful and tasty these dishes are. Overall, we were impressed with our dining experience!!! Our server Itzel was very hospitable and provided us with great customer service and very attentive to our needs. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant - even their restrooms are well kept and sanitary. We will definitely recommend this place and can't wait to return to try other delicious dishes!!!
