El carbonero restaurant and pupuseria

La sopa de pata Sabrosa, muy auténtica. También ordené un tamal sabroso!!!El staff muy amable. Limpio el lugar.

Mal servicio. Te sirven la comida sin utensilios y se tardan para traerlos mientras tu comida se enfría. Los platos fuertes no incluyen tortillas te cobran extra y te las traen tarde mientras tu comida se sigue enfriando porque no te dicen con tiempo que tienes que ordenar las tortillas mientras otras pupuserias ya vienen con las tortillas incluidas. Las pupusas revueltas traen mas frijol que chicharrón. El lugar parece más tacaños en vez de dar mejor calidad y para acabar, los tuberías hechan un olor súper desagradable de aguas negras. Que locura!

Giving a 5 stars for the service and pupusas and the banana thing Not a big fan of the banana with milk, only because the texture I was not a fan of but the taste of the pupusas and fried banana were 10/10 the tamales de pollo super delicious very flavorful.

After a play at Las Vegas Little Theatre, I headed to this plaza to go to another restaurant. It turned out it's the place I wanted to go but there has been a name change.I was going to get some pupusas, but I didn't see them on the menu. I did later--they're listed in plain sight. Instead, I decided to have a different Salvadoran dinner. I ordered the pasteles de pollo--chicken empanadas or as the menu states, chicken pastries. I also ordered one chorizo becasuye I wanted to try their seaosng first for future ordering,. Along with the pasteles, there was a slide of curtido which was very good and similar to what I've gotten in other Salvadoran restaurants,My drink was tamarindo. I used to buy this in cans and I enjoy the flavor so much. Their tamarindo was excellent!Service waas very good and I will be back to try the pupusas. This was a good find thanks to Yelp!

The cost of $7 for an agua fresca appears to be quite high when considering the market standard. Additionally, the quality of the pupusas, priced at $3.25 each, does not align with the elevated cost, which may not be commensurate with the level of service provided. Furthermore, the portion of cabbage provided with the pupusas was insufficient, impacting the overall dining experience.

The pupusas are 5 star. Huge foodie and I eat a lot of pupusas. I'd have to say this is my favorite spot in town. I also tried the burrito and tacos. You know I had to get it all. Service was on point as it's a sit down restaurant. They recommend a couple dishes to pair and needless to say I left full. Very big restaurant and good for groups. They were very accommodating. They have soccer games and events going on so it's a vibe.

"El Carbonero" means "The Coalman". I guess the pupusas here are made by coal miners from El Salvador? I took a peek in the back, but didn't see any. Maybe the coal miner's daughter. Anyway, the men's room in the back is out of order. But that shouldn't stop you from ordering the pupusas. They are made from scratch...which is why it takes so long before they arrive at your table. It's worth it though. Builds up the appetite. I ordered the Cicharron con Queso (pork & cheese pupusa) and the Pupusa Loca (crazy chicken). Both are excellent, especially with all that marinated cabbage & tomato sauce (Curtido y Salsa). Just pile them on top of your pupusa and you're good to go! Only beef is that they raised their pupusa prices. It used to be in the $2.20 per pupusa a long time ago. Times have changed.

Los desayunos de frijolitos con huevo y plátanos con sus tortillas recién salidas de la plancha son mis favoritos!! Siempre amables hacen que siempre regrese!!

Pretty good for a hole in the wall taco joint. Chips & Salsa was fresh, asada tacos is the closest to LA tacos I've had in Vegas...
