Dottys Gaming & Sprits

I'm not one of those daily regulars, but I do play at a Dottys at least once a week. And 9 times out of 10 I practically get ignored. Rarely am I offered a drink and if I am offered one they seem annoyed to get me one, since im only playing $20. Which I don't know about you, but $20 could get me several drinks anywhere else, so for them to make such a big deal about it, is quite insulting. Especially since I don't drink alcohol. I work in the customer service industry. So I count on my tips and I always tip generously, but if I lose, I'm sorry I just don't have it to tip right now. But I didn't get much customer service to begin with, so they give me the stink eye. And what's really wild, is if I start winning then their attitude suddenly brightens up a bit and they are eager to get me a drink or 3. I believe that you should treat all customers the same regardless if you believe you are going to get a tip or not. If you can't put on a smile & deliver hospitable customer service(since that's literally the industry you WORK IN) then maybe this isn't the job for you. So again, I get it, as a waitress I take care of most of my needs with just my tip money, but I am not going to tip generously, because I always tip, but I'm not going to tip well if you only started serving me when you thought I'd give you a nice tip since I won. And what's even more insulting is someone will come and sit down next to me only minutes after I sat down, yet they get offered a drink because they are a regular. Apparently you only get customer service if you spend most of your free time at dottys. I just find it very rude because I absolutely LOVE working as a waitress. I love meeting new people, I love helping people and making them smile. And getting a low tip, or sometimes no tip, just comes with the territory. Jeez look at me, Ive really gotten fired up. None of this is even the reason why I started writing this review in the first place. I was just told that if I'm not playing then I need to leave. I had been at this particular dottys earlier in the night with a friend and between us we fed $250 in the machines and tipped very nice. Then a few hours later I came back and played another $20. While I was playing I was also playing a game on my phone. ( I think I have a gaming addiction) so once I ran out of money I continued to sit in my chair and play my game on my phone. The bartender asked if I was still gambling and I said no. So then I was told I need to leave because security had called her. I said," so I gamble, feed a nice amount of money into the machines, and I'm not even welcome to hang out, finish my drink or enjoy the atmosphere and television? I felt like this bartender had something against me so I called Dottys customer service line and she confirmed it is part of their policy that you must be playing in order to be in dottys. So my question then is, why in sooo many Dottys is there a dining like area with tables and chairs? I've seen several customers sitting at those tables, smoking a cigarette or playing on their phone. But whatever, I will follow the rules, as much as I don't agree and think it's silly, I'll comply. But before I left I had to use the restroom. I'd been in there maybe 5 minutes and the bartender comes in and says"you need to hurry before security calls me again" to which I reply embarrassed," I'm going #2 I will try to finish as fast as possible" and then she proceeded to stay in the bathroom the entire time until I came out. I'm sorry, but no one wants to be tooting and plopping a poo while there is someone clearly listening. It's embarrassing and a private time. I just felt completely violated and judged like I wasn't worthy to be there or something. I apologize for verbally vomiting on anyone who was nice enough to hear me out. But I'm tired of being treated less than.

I enjoy coming to this particular location,Ima night owl so I'm here around 3am..Friday -tues .....$Ashley Our bartender and hostess is awesome.. she's been here a few years and definitely has a following. I love how her regulars come in with a smile for her and really make a point to chat with her and show their support. She's loved by many. I've won a few times so playing has become fun lol and the comp drinks and players card perks are why I keepComing back! Thanks Ashley and the others from this location :)

by far one of the worst places to place.. Employee in N Jones and Ann rd was brutal!!! Every other word out of her mouth was the F word.. fyi, no AC in this building and this lady said that no AC for last 3 days and again, every other word was f this, f the owners .. sad

If you are in the mood to go somewhere that is full of smoke, dingy, stinky, and full of rift raft then this is the place to go! I have heard so much good from other locals that Dottys is a cool place to go, cheap drinks, and smokes and a cool lounge with slots. I must have been to the wrong one because the lounge was terrible and they really need to update there fan system in here. I'm a smoker and couldn't even stand the smell and overwhelming stench of smoke. Yeah that bad. Yes the prices of drinks and smokes were cheap and there are gaming machines in there but they are crap games and the service is terrible. I will never step foot in a Dottys again and my visit to this one that lasted no more than 15 min was enough for me to never go back.

Horrible customer service You would figure 2 bartenders on Sunday morning that a customer would be able to get a drink in reasonable time but not here Both bartenders need to be replaced cause if they can't handle 8 people total in bar Now all shifts have lost my business Shame that 2 terrible bartenders have to ruin for other shifts

Dottys in the Flamingo and Jones shopping center is the worst. I have been to many through town. The employees are amazingly rude, slow, and not nice at all. One man hangs with the dorks (like himself) and ignores many players just to get through his work day. I believe this individual worker should be repremended to either leave, get fired, or act like a true good employee. From now on I will never go there again. As long as that Dottys remains exactly the same, I believe after some time, that place to go and gamble, shall be shut down.

The employees here are terribly rude and unprofessional. Also, the place is filthy and reeks of urine and stale cigarettes.

So as we sit and play at one of our favorite establishments We came across a very very uninterested slot host attendant not friendly more interested in playing on her mobile devise not really interested in serving any cold beverages the one that she did serve was Luke warm I didn't complain just asked for a different cold soda she seemed very unhappy she had to actually have to put her phone down and serve the customer now as we play and are having a great time sort of my companions they were also playing cashed out a winning ticket and also provided a very nice gratuity to the host she seems very unhappy she received any tip at all several tickets cashed and several gratuities left for the host we decided it was time to leave we cashed out and I then realized I would like to buy some smokes and let me tell you what the machine malfunctioned and the host Tiffany... absolutely blew her lid I mean totally uncalled for she was t able to open the slot machine to receive my ticket and explained to me she could t because of a bent key mmmmm at that point I questioned her ability to refine my money as she explained a gaming dispute would have to done I was nit real happy with that but it is what it is as I tried to cash a different voucher it also got stuck and now Tiffany really started to show her superior customer service she removed her mask and started to yell at me and tell me how rude I was and that all of my family also are rude and then proceeded to threaten to call the police on me interesting you may say yes now this is a place we support we do almost all of our gambling with dottys and never have a i Ben treated so poorly by any individual ever so if your in this location be very wary of this host as she is the absolute worst I have ever been served by well lack of service

Wish I could give zero stars. By FAR the worst bartending service in all of Vegas. This is coming from a local. Ruth, the late night tender is absolutely the WORST bartender in the history of bars. Upon arriving to meet a few friends, I tried to order a drink and was told I can't have anything unless I'm playing a machine. I just wanted a beer and was looking to pay for it. Reluctantly she finally served me a beer. After hours of gambling from my friends, including myself after 30 minutes or so, I was never offered another drink. Every single time I had to ask for a drink. Even when trying to cash my ticket out, I was told I'd have to wait, because they had the money in the back. What kind of rinky dink operation is this!? I will NEVER return to a Dottys again and I don't understand why anyone in the local area would ever be a repeat customer. Service is terrible, and I mean ABSOLUTELY horrendous!

This place is not friendly both the ladies where rude. And they expect a tip!! I don't recommend this place if you want somebody's friendly and attentive and gives good service don't come here cuz I don't even deserve a quarter tip nasty women
