Daikon Vegan Sushi

So good!! They have vegan sushi nigri, rolls, ramen, fried rice, etc. Tasty enough for meat eaters too who aren't expected fish. Those who like rolls and cooked food. Philippe's suggestion was amazing!! We loved what we ordered. I would come back!!

I appreciated the attentive service here--when I found a hair in the appetizer, the staff quickly remade it, took it off the bill, and even included dessert, which was a nice gesture.I've been to quite a few vegan ramen and sushi spots and have tried many creative rolls. I'd say these were better than standard, though not the most memorable I've had. The menu leans toward fusion, but everything was made with quality ingredients and care--it wasn't sloppy at all. The lemon bar was really sweet but had a pleasant smooth texture. While some dishes, like the chickpea ball, were a bit underwhelming, most of the rolls were solid. Overall, a good experience with great service!

I'm not even vegan, and this has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is superb (T.C. is an absolute gem!), and they handle food allergies with incredible care and attention.As someone with a serious gluten allergy, I was thrilled by how seriously they took my concerns. The rainbow roll and eel nigiri were phenomenal--I didn't even miss the fish, and I'm not vegan! The lemon bar was easily one of the best gluten- and dairy-free desserts I've had in my ten years of being gluten-free.I'm thoroughly impressed and can't recommend Daikon enough, whether you're vegan or not!

TOTALLY VEGAN OPTIONS!!!!!!!!I live in California. I make sure I come here every time I visit my daughter and grandchildren.The food is amazing. The ambience is nice cozy. medium noise. It was a little chill by the door.The service was great.However I am very disappointed that for five people they charged aautomatic 18% gratuity. Then they tax the gratuity And two of the people were children 9 and 5. I will not be paying that 18% tax gratuity. I say bring cash.

This restaurant continues to be our go to restaurant when we are in the area.Must try -1) any sushi roll. You cant go wrong with any. They all taste pretty similar imo. Also I would tell them to avoid sweet soy sauce. It makes the sushi too sweet.2) eel nigiri. It is made with smoky Tender eggplant. Soo good.3) chickpea Salad. An healthy tasty option.4) basil fried rice. Very flavorful dish. They make it very spicy if you ask them to and it is addictive.5) coconut curry noodles 6) sweet corn pockets - nice creamy dish. It can get a bit overwhelming. Items to avoid -Tofu karage, calamari, monster balls - just some fried dishes with no flavorBrownie, lemon pie, pudding - have tried everything and disappointed every time

This is easily the best sushi I've ever had. As a vegetarian it was wonderful to not have to ask if there's hidden fish product in any item. Our server was friendly and attentive. We went through two rounds (I shared all with my partner to try more) and I wish my stomach had allowed me to eat more!

Haven't been in a few months but still so amazing. Got one of my favorites - the Golden State Roll, delicious as always. I also got the Spider Roll. Honestly, all of the rolls are pretty delicious and I was able to introduce another vegan to this spot! Always a must have

Yesterday was my first time trying daikon vegan sushi. It's a cute little restaurant , in a good area. When I walked in to pick my food up, the service was immediately great. The server was very nice and his energy was very welcoming which I always appreciate.I got the spider roll, I believe it's called. This is EASILY one of the best sushi rolls I've ever tasted as a vegetarian. The flavor is was immaculate. I also got the sesame chicken. It was sooooooo good. My wife who eats meat tried to steal my food lol. The food was so good, I couldn't even get a picture of it. It was a hefty portion too. Never change, Daikon I'm obsessed literally & coming back again today.

I'm not vegan but the food was INCREDIBLE. I will definitely be coming back. The service was excellent and the spider roll was better than the ones I get with real crab from other sushi restaurants. I was super impressed with the pickles and ginger they make in house as well. I

8/7/24 We work close by and had a chance to grab lunch so we headed on over to Daikon as one of our coworkers had been there before and highly recommended it. We walked in and were the only ones in there. The server quickly took our order and we reminded them we were on a time constraint, which shouldn't have been a problem being that we were the only ones in there. I had a hard time deciding but of course I have no problems getting multiple things. I ordered the Spam Masubi with black rice, spider roll, and the sunset roll. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive and it was all beautifully plated. The one thing that was frustrating was they plated all of the rolls on the same plate and we had to reach over each other to grab our sushi, but it all was very delicious and hard to believe it was vegan. The "spam" musubi was not as salty as actual spam but it was nice to try the "black rice" which was a gorgeous purple. The spider roll and the sunset roll were also very tasty and it was filling too! We managed to get the bill paid and some boxes and back to work with about 2 minutes to spare.
