Food was great. Customer service was even better. The gentleman was so patient while we were deciding on what to get. We took the food home and it was amazing.

The empanadas here were good. I enjoyed the guava and cheese, spinach and cheese and ham and cheese. However, I wasn't a fan of the chicken empanada. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. On the plus side, the dough was flaky and light. Place was clean and customer service was decent. It's a great spot for a quick bite.

Good attention from the workers, but the portions are extremely small, the sandwich is not at the Cuban point, and also too much mojo Creole gives it an acidic taste, and very disgusting, the congri rice is old and overheated

Yelp Review 2024 #71:I remember going to Cuba expecting to find a Cuban sandwich. I went to a nice little cafe in Havana and ordered a sandwich and it turned out to be a basic sandwich with ham, cheese on white bread! The lesson here is that the Cubano is a sandwich invented by Cubans in Florida!Wherever and however it may have been conceptualized and created, I love a good Cuban sandwich. It's a simple sandwich with good ol' ham, cheese, pickle and mustard on bread that gets pressed until it's toasted on both sides giving it a nice crunchy exterior and the cheese and fatty goodness melts inside.I've been to Cubanidad at another location. They have the same menu and the layout of the restaurant is pretty much the identical. The 305:The classic Cubano sandwich from Miami. Smoked ham, Swiss cheese, roasted pork, pickles, and homemade mustard sauce on Cuban bread. The bread is hot, crunchy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside. You can get your sandwich as is or as a combo with chips or fries and a drink for an extra $4. The sandwich is surprisingly filling. It has a nice layer of meat. I'm not a lover of pickles but the flavor of the pickle on this sandwich seems subtle with the ham, pork and cheese. Grab extra napkins - the roasted pork is juicy and the mustard sauce will start dripping on your hands. I always end up eating half of the sandwich and all the fries so, I can reheat the leftover sandwich the next day. The fries are thin and salty so the texture is definitely there without being overly cooked. 5/5The Ybor Original:Tampa's Cubano sandwich. Just like the 305 but with Genoa salami. If you like a little more saltiness with a hint of acid in your sandwich, get this. 5/5Garlic Cilantro Sauce:For $0.75, you can take your sandwich and fries to the next level. This is a game changer and a good flavor enhancer. Trust me! 5/5Fried Plantains:Sweet, soft caramelized plantains. A nice side for any salty dish or as a snack. 5/5Guava and Cheese Pastelito:A handpie with guava and cream cheese filling. Nice flaky crust which is perfect at room temperature or reheated in the oven. The crust to filling ratio is perfect. 4.5/5Flan:I love a good flan. It's all about the texture. I like the creamy and soft flan (Filipino version) more than the more firm (Mexican version). Their flan sits right in the middle. 4.5/5The service was friendly and the food came out within 15 minutes after ordering. They have Coke products, juice, bottled water as well as canned Cuban drinks. They have cheese rolls which I haven't tried yet since I'm loyal to Porto's cheese rolls.

Came in because we were on this side of town. Amazing food and great service! We ordered the 305 Cubano Sandwich and the Pan Con Biste Sandwich. Both were delicious! Wasn't able to take photos of the Guava Empanada because we devoured them so fast, they were that good. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and nicely decorated. Nice Latin music played in the background. I recommend!

I'm an empanada fanatic so I was super stoked to find one close by. Just needed a quick snack so decided to stop by this cute shop that just opened. Was greeted by staff as soon as I walked in. Got 1 potato ball and 1 beef empanada with olives. Chimichurri sauce was delish with a perfect amount of tanginess. I would drink that stuff. Can't wait to try their other options. The sandwiches looked amazing. My only complaint would be the lack of meat in the potato ball. Was still really good but I'm used to the one's I've had at Porto's in Ca that has a nice ratio of meat to potato. Otherwise, place was excellent with friend friendly service and clean environment.

Since the day it opened this restaurant has been delicious, with excellent service. Their menu includes salads, meats, burgers, and even a vegan nachos. We are always greeted with a smile and the food comes quickly. There is seating for 32 and good air conditioning. Try the Jupina soda with a cuban burrito!

Cubanidad Express Sahara makes awesome Cuban food! You'll find them at Sahara Pavilion North on Sahara and Decatur, near Domino's Plaza, next to Wells Fargo and Don Tortaco Mexican Grill. There's good parking available.Inside is a casual dining area with limited seating and good music. Menu offers a nice selection of entree plates, Cuban sandwiches, snacks, empanadas, and pastelitos.Caesar Salad ($12.25) is good and has heart romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, Cuban croutons, and Caesar dressing.Cal-Neva Toast ($10.25) is magnificent! It's vegan veggie Cuban toast with black bean purée topped with sliced tomato, avocado, radish, red onion, wine & vinegar, served with a yummy spicy mild chimichurri sauce, delicious!Cuban Nachos ($8.95) are tasty and have black bean hummus, guacamole, pickled red onion, served with plantain chips.Chicken empanada ($3.95) is also tasty and goes well with cilantro garlic sauce. I love Guava & Cheese Pastelito ($3.95), it's yummy and not too sweet! For drinks, Mandarin Cardamon ($2.95) is refreshing! It has a fantastic blend of orange, cardamon, and turmeric.Service from Stefany is outstanding and wonderful! She's very kind, welcoming, friendly, and efficient. This is a great place for delicious Cuban food, refreshing drinks, and a pleasant experience!

For a restaurant that specializes in Cuban cuisine I found the cuban sandwich and media noche sandwich underwhelming... also the papa rellena was mostly just potato. It's a cool concept but unfortunately I can't recommend this place and will not be visiting again.
