Come and enjoy authentic Cuban food in a Cuban atmosphere! Unlike many "spanish" type cuisine, Cuban food uses a variety of spices, not spicy at all. Big difference, visit and enjoy!

I've been to Cuba Cafe before and can confidently say the food is always delicious and authentic. The dishes really give you a taste of the culture, and the execution is impressive. However, this visit left me with mixed feelings.First, the service wasn't the best. Our waitress was a bit standoffish--not rude, but definitely not the friendliest. It didn't feel particularly welcoming, which was disappointing.I was excited to have coffee with my meal, but their coffee maker was down. I was surprised they don't make coffee on the stovetop as a backup--especially given the importance of coffee in Cuban culture. It felt like a missed opportunity. As for the food: * House Bread: Tasted homemade and didn't even need butter. A solid 9/10 from me, 9.5/10 from my boyfriend. * Churrasco: The chimichurri was great! 8/10 from me and 8.3/10 from Dylan. * Rice & Beans: Absolutely flawless. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Easy 10/10 for both of us. * Salad: Surprisingly tasty! We both gave it a 9.4/10. * Pernil (Dylan's dish): This was the star of the meal. Incredibly soft, tender, and flavorful. 10/10 from me, 9.6/10 from Dylan. * Amarillos: Sweet and delicious! 8.2/10 from both of us.The food is undeniably good, but the prices are on the higher side. Soda was $3.95--the same price as the espresso I couldn't order. That's a bit steep, even for quality food.Overall, the food earns this place its stars, but the lackluster service and small frustrations (like no coffee options) bring the experience down a notch. If you're coming for the food, you won't be disappointed.

Location is way off the strip. Not very conveniently located if you are staying on the strip. Was recommended by a frequent visitor of Vegas. Food was absolutely no where near up to par. We received frijoles for the white rice too late after food service was already distributed to everyone. Everyone had already started digging into meals and they had no clue that beans weren't even out yet. One of the steaks (rib eye) was ordered medium, steak was prepared rare practically just giving with the grill marks on it. Cuban sandwich had to be possibly of the least flavorful Cuban sandwiches I had my whole life. Worst bread ever, hard as can be with no real crunch to it. More like stale bread. We ordered pitchers of coconut mojitos and single glasses of coconut mojitos and there was not sense of any coconut in and of the drinks. I actually felt like I was drinking sparkling limeade with a hint of mint. Ambiance was very basic nothing fancy nothing extravagant very simple. Think of you walking into the simplest cheapest luncheonette. Nothing to be impressed by nor mind blown. They did have a live singer there singing some classic Spanish songs. Some of the music was good. But honestly I didn't come here to listen to him play. I came to enjoy a nice meal and travel 15-20 off strip to be very disappointed. At the end of the evening we found out that one of our guests that was with us actually got food poisoning after that meal. They went to continue there evening with some entertainment and ruined the rest of their evening in the restroom. Had to leave the even early due to the bad shape that they were in. If I could give zero stars I would. Only one person at the restaurant that was with us enjoy their meal. But they also fast all day and food is devoured once in their site.POOR POOR CHOICE. Do Not waste your time or money. Save your stomach.

Not great honestly. Got a Cuban sandwich and a Cuban cafe pasta which both were just fine. The pasta wasn't bad after I put some more seasoning in it. Again, it was fine just not very flavorful. The Cuban has a weird flavor that I can't put my finger on. Had a craving for a great Cuban sandwich (sadly not satisfied now) and the Cuban pasta caught my eye as an interesting option. The only thing that was nice is that uber eats wouldn't let me leave a note for them and when I called the man was very quick and helpful!

Place wasn't packed at all when I came here. Only another couple dining in. Customer service was initially good, they were attentive but as the time progressed, we had to keep asking to refill our drinks. The food took a long time to arrive. I usually don't mind if the food is delicious but it lacked flavor. The appetizers came quickly, the empanadas were decent but doughy not enough filling. My oxtails were not tender at all and the sauce could've used more flavor it was very runny. I've had plenty of Cuban food around, so this place was a bit disappointing for me.

My husband was craving a Cuban sandwich. We hadn't been to Cuba Cafe in a while, but we needed to be in that area anyway, so it was the perfect choice. We must always go at off times 'cuz there was no one there when we walked in about 12:15, but customers were coming in as we were finishing our meal. We got an order of croquetas. They were okay, but probably wouldn't order them again. We decided to split a media noche, recommended by the waiter for the bread. I'm glad I asked for he choice, instead of just getting the regular Cuban. After much debate we settled on lechon asado, the roast pork plate. Wow! What a delicious pile of pork they served up! It came with Morros & cristianos & a lightly dressed spring green salad on the plate. Oh, there was a small basket of yummy crispy garlic toast served before the meal, too. We were too full for coffee or dessert after eating, unfortunately.I did have to take off a star for the overwhelming smell of Fabuloso when walked in. I wish restaurants would use that stuff in the evening not in the morning right before customers come in. It's overpowering & unappetizing.

Located next to my favorite chicken spot, I stopped by here for a Cubano sandwich for myself and a coworker. The service was good, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Ordered the Cubano sandwich, and it came with fries. It was delcious, and my co-worker also enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

After a year, I returned to see my dream source of Cuban food slightly diminished. I had brought my parents with me this time and, sadly, they ended up not eating very much and going somewhere else.My dad ordered the ropa vieja and it came out cold, as if just removed from the fridge. He asked for the food to warmed up and it returned with just the beef warmed up. It was obvious they removed the beef and microwaved it. The rice and beans were still fridge cold. My mother ordered the tasting plate and, while 1/2 the food was warm, not hot, the other half was also cold. Of course, I ordered my Cuban sandwich. It was anemic compared to my sandwich a year ago. I had to life the bread to make sure there was any meat in the sandwich. Fortunately, for me at least, the sandwich and fries came out hot.We wanted mojitos but were told they don't serve alcohol. I don't know if they lost their liquor license or didn't have a bartender that night. The restaurant was dead aside from one couple eating next to us. I hope this was a one off. I truly loved my meal there last year. Ironically, our driver home was Cuban. We had asked him his favorite place to go. He said he had never eaten at Cuban Cafe before but he did mention another place. Maybe I will try them next time.Cuban Cafe, please, get back on track!

I've always wanted to try a Cuban spot and I'm so glad I found one!The Cuban dishes were surprisingly simple however very delicious. I'm no expert in Cuban cuisine however to me, this style of cuisine comes off as a humble culinary style. The ingredients used seem to be very flavorful and neutral vs other styles of Hispanic cuisine which are spicy or robust. Also, the dishes and drinks remind me of something tropical. The dishes are served with plantains and for cocktails there's tons of different pina colada or mojito type drinks. At night there's a bar that is open, and I was told on Friday and Saturday nights the dance floor is open with a live band and singer starting at 9pm. What I can tell you is that if you're looking for strong drinks, this is the place for you. Even the tropical fruity drinks were pretty stiff so there's no skimping on alcohol here!

Terrible had an odd smell & the food was below sub par. The cuban sandwhich tasted like walmart deli meat. The vaca frittas were dry & had an aftertaste. I had to return my entire order & go somewhere else to eat. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME !
