Crumbl - Durango

This was the first time I've been in a Crumbl store, and I was very impressed! My son's school had a fundraiser at the Crumbl S. Durango location, which got me to finally go and try their cookies. I'm left wondering, why I didn't try them sooner! When I walked in I felt like I just stepped into a bakery kitchen, which was really neat. Then I needed to place my order on the computer at the front counter, which then automatically is sent to the person packing the orders behind the counter. I did have a couple questions and asked the lady putting the orders together. She was more than helpful, and super friendly. My order of a 6 pack of cookies was ready in less than 5 minutes. The cookies were outstanding! The Chocolate Chunk was rich in chocolate flavor. The Peanut Butter Butterfinger tasted exactly as the title - peanut buttery and crisp chunks of Butterfinger, and the brownie was moist and decadent. The wow factor for me was that there were no oil saturation marks at the bottom of the box. Proving the high quality ingredients being used. I will definitely be back!

Born in Logan Utah Crumbl took the city by storm, their Instagramable rounds offered in thirty stores across six states by 2019 and now in all fifty states with six in Las Vegas including the Durango location opened in May 2020.Created by Sawyer Hemsley and Jason McGowan, rapid expansion through franchising yielding mixed results from store to store as evidence by Social Media, it was after nine variable experiences that the westside storefront proved competent, the staff exceedingly pleasant while describing each choice.Undoubtedly popular in part due to photogenicity, though a sterile interior oversells the fact that everything is made from scratch, the first thing those entering will notice is Crumbl's limited collection of just six weekly flavors, though occasionally one may find "Mystery Cookies" including specials from the previous week.Still a young company, so much success despite only starting in September 2017 certainly enviable, best bites came from specials that included "Salted Caramel Cheesecake," a nice texture with mellow sweetness while the Snickerdoodle is executed as it aught to be. Offered onsite or via delivery from 8am until at least 10pm Monday through Saturday it was next "Galaxy Brownie" took on the namesake before "Blueberry Muffin" riffed well on its namesake.Again finding "Cake" concepts better than the Cookies by which crumbl made their name suffice it to say the "Skillet Cookie"is best served warm Ice Cream or not and the Marshmallow Sandwich Cookie is most certainly big enough to share with a friend.

Well, unfortunately, this Crumbl location has lost my family's support, and I plan to tell my neighbors, extended family and friends to avoid this location.The last few times I've visited, the customer service has continued to decline. It's a rare occasion to be acknowledged politely upon entering. However, today, was such a wild turn of events, I felt compelled to write a review. After leaving the Cinema, my son, husband and I were excited to grab some Crumbl Cookie on the way home. As we entered, the staff was so worked up looking out of the window at something, we almost mistakenly thought they were telling us they were closing. After I then asked, "I'm sorry, are you closing?" The employee looked at me with quite the expression of a "duh" and replied they were not. They commiserated between themselves and one ran out the door to take photos of something outside. Again, no one actually had greeted us yet. I proceed to put in the order with no interaction from the four employees working in the front. No engagement with me regarding the flavors, or packages offered. No acknowledgment of myself or my family as actual customers. To my disdain, I continued to place the order because my son was already excited.Well, lo and behold, I place my order, wait to complete my transaction, as the machine allowed me to select "cash" as my method of payment. After waiting a few minutes, the staff finally decided to yell from across the bakery counter that they don't accept cash. No further commentary or explanation. No offer to assist to change the payment method or update the order!This is the kind of customer service that loses a customer for life. It's one thing to alienate a portion of your customer base by refusing to take cash payments, especially when you charge for card fees and often pay fees to process cards yourself. It's another thing to foster an environment where employees don't acknowledge the customers that support the business that pays them.

This review is based on this specific week flavor rotation. I wasn't super impressed with particularly any of the flavors this week. I hope each week they can read reviews and check inventory to see what flavors are deemed "good enough" to return back into the flavor cycle later in the future. The banana bread was a tad bland and the texture was off because it was more like bread texture than cookie texture. The white chocolate Mac nut was hard and dense, and the lemon poppy was slightly too tart and bitter. I hope to see some more classic fan favorite flavors make their way back into more rotations. Every week recently there's been more times than not that I'm not super interested in the options.

Easy pick up. Had to get the banana upside down cake. The other cookies tasted like sugar cookie with a hint of the flavors. I do recommend the banana upside down cake cause if taste like banana bread French toast I usually make. One of the cakes I would get again.

# 2075!Hubby has his birthday cookie freebie burning a hole in his pocket. Hubby loves his sweets. Our boy is a 4th generation chocolate lover.Have a $25 gift card also burning a hole in our pocket. Checked out the reviews - 302 reviews, over 700 pics posted, 4 stars, whoa! Also checked out the menu and it looks like there are rotating flavors (depending on the season).Brookie, chocolate chip, chocolate cream pie, cinnamon roll, chocolate shake, coconut cream pie. They also do catering.Hubby spoke to the manager to see about getting his b-day reward. She suggested deleting the App and then downloading it again. When he said that the other shop honored it and that he already did that with the App. So she honored it. Yay!We got 2 brookies, 2 chocolate chip cookies, and 2 others- six pack $22.99. We had 8 cents left on the gift card. Hubby got the coconut cream pie cookie. Mmm. These are gourmet cookies, really decadent, but not overly sweet just enough. Good size. I completely understand about the popularity here. Wow.Looking forward to trying the other flavors.Everyone was really nice. Clean place. After we got there there were quite a bit of other customers.

Crumbl cookies are always a hit for large groups. I conveniently ordered online and picked up at my convenience. Cookies were fresh and a hit. I ordered a little of everything. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the cookies because I think they're overly sweet as well as overpriced, but hey everyone else seems to like em at gatherings.

Crumble Cookies employees!!!! When a customer is celebrating their Birthday acknowledge them with a "Happy Birthday"!!! You are in the hospitality industry!!! Show some appreciation to your customer with a smile and appreciation!!! Thank you!!!

This location is one of the closest location to my that's why I always order and do my pick ups here but I never ever got a great customer service in this since day one that I've ordered here...And the customer service is always bad no hello no welcome no good customer service.The place is well kept inside out.The cookies are always good that's for sure... I just wish that the customer service is better I had a bunch of issues here and was never handled well besides bad attitude. Overall cookies are good app makes it easier to order but the picking up has always issue for me.But the Blue Diamond Location is always nice and never had issue.

The staff always provides amazing service , and always the space is always clean . Of course the cookies are amazing !!!
