Service is truly excellent here. I appreciate that when we sat down they asked if we had anything we needed to get to such as a show. We did indeed have a show at 7, which is why we made the 5 o'clock reservation. They guaranteed they'd get us out in plenty of time and they did. We had a visited their sister restaurant Herbs, and Rye multiple times and loved it so we knew there was a high likelihood that we would enjoy Cleaver too, and we were right! Our server introduced me to the cock and bull cocktail, which I would recommend if you like old-fashioned. It was really good. We both ordered the flat iron steak, which was cooked a perfect medium rare, and shared the incredibly tasty bourbon shallot potatoes. I'd highly recommend both. You can't beat their happy hour steak prices! Overall, we really enjoyed our visit!

Third time being here and it's pretty consistent every time. Good service, not great. Lovely decor and lighting. Food was spectacular but a bit overpriced. Pork belly mac & cheese is a must!

This place needs no introduction nor attention as this place is an icon. What is not to love here? We came for a simple dinner and had our oyster fill, steak and some sides. No complaints on the oysters and array of sauces. What can I say? I like options! Steak was perfectly cooked! I like mine with a little more seasoning or salt but it was still good nonetheless. And that golden buttery mashed potatoes was a gem ! We will definitely be returning!

This was one of our most memorable meals in Vegas. Our family of four made reservations for 5 PM on a Wednesday night and we were promptly seated in one of the quieter sections. We tried the following:1) Mussels with spicy tomato sauce and white wine2) Squid ink pasta 3) Ribeye, 16 ounces4) Cauliflower au gratin5) House bread with whipped butterItems 1-3 have happy hour prices. It was great quality food and reasonably priced - it really set the foundation for an astounding meal. Our young daughters tried everything and their favorite was the ribeye and house bread. We cannot wait to revisit!

This place was really good! We went to the sister place to this restaurant called Herbs and Rye and finally decided to give Cleaver a chance. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter was very informing of the menu and made sure our steak was cooked to our liking. The ambiance was like an old school steak house. Very quiet compared to Herbs and Rye which seemed to have more of an upbeat atmosphere. I would suggest trying this place out if you're looking for a good steak house.

What a memorable dinner!! The Cleaver Steakhouse is a culinary gem that perfectly balances a classy ambiance with a vibrant, lively atmosphere. The first thing that strikes you is the energy of the place, loud and fun. It's a place where celebrations happen. It's easy to get to with plenty of parking. We waited about 45 minutes even though we had a reservation and that's a good sign, busy and a crowd waiting out the door on a Wednesday night. After the much awaited wait, we finally got our table. Started with bramble cocktail, it was exquisite, made of gin, lemon juice and blackberries. However, the star of the show was the Porterhouse for 2 and it was nothing short of spectacular. Juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor, it was grilled to a perfect medium-rare, with a delectable char that added depth to every bite. The seasoning was simple, allowing the natural flavors of the beef to shine through. We also added the cleaver steak sauce and it elevated the taste even more with every bite. For side dishes, we ordered the roasted brussel sprouts and mushrooms and were delightful. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff who genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. With so many choices in Vegas, I'm glad we came here.

Ambiance was dark and romantic for a nice date for my husband and I. Food was very good. We started off with some east and west coast oysters, they were both very good. Next we had the wedge salad which was good but lacking a little dressing. For dinner I had the lamb and my husband had the short ribs which were both very delicious . Dessert was excellent we had a chocolate cake and both enjoyed it. Our server was nice and attentive but when I asked what kind of lamb chops were being served( the menu doesn't specify) it stumped him. I explained what I meant , lamb rib chops, loin chops or shoulder chops. I think it irritated him. I didn't mean to. Luckily for me the lamb being served is lamb rib chops. They were very good.

This was a reserved private dining room dinner between business clients. I had read some reviews about the vintage Gentleman's club vibe and look and I can confirm that it's accurate. The celebrity paintings in various royalty looking poses are striking and weird at the same time. Especially the massive sweating Chris Farley wearing a discarded Captain and Tennille Sailor outfit. If you're here during a trade show expect at a minimum of a three hour or longer dinner. We arrived shortly after 6:30 pm and finished slightly before 10:00 pm. The staff was professional but the friendliness varied by member. The wine pourer was exceptionally friendly. She artfully twirled around with dining space with bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon and a corkscrew. The seafood towers were massive and had a lot of weight to them. One of my dining companions who was quite brave had the Steak Tartare. It didn't look like Steak Tartare but he threw caution to wind like a fastball from Shohei Ohtani. He smashed and powered through it. I peppered him with questions and he said it didn't have the weird texture he thought it may have. In my opinion, it didn't look like Steak Tartare. Having traveled to France extensively over the last 20 years, I've seen a dozen platings of Tartare and this one was quite odd. I'll check on him in a couple of days. My chopped salad appetizer minus the salami was exquisite. I was able to veganize this dish. The right amount of pepper and the construction of the salad hit all the right notes. Well done to the kitchen for this execution. Cleaver did not have the pea risotto but they did have a vegan pasta dish for which I was thankful. The steaks arrived quite some later to the rest of the dining party. The dining companion to my right had the Ribeye with a bleu cheese crust. It appeared that most of the meats were cooked to order but they all looked quite naked on their plates. The butters and sauces arrived in those little pour overs. The Corn and the Mac and Cheese with pork belly side dishes looked good. The corn disappeared the fastest while the pork belly vanished but the Mac and Cheese lingered on throughout the dinner service. In comparing to last year's dinner at Peter Lugers, each location was busy. The separate dinning room at Cleaver is an advantage over PL due to the noise levelThe food quality is better at PL but PL had zero vegan options. Cleaver was considerably less than PL but we received happy hour pricing and we were short two diners All in all, I enjoyed my experience but if you're looking for a Steak experience, you may want to consider Cleaver if other options are not available.

Everything about our experience was superb! The hosts were very professional and welcoming. The servers were knowledgeable, answered every question, and provided excellent service! Our food not only looked exquisite, but it surpassed our expectations. The decorum only added to our experience and the music gave it a great vibe. We are locals and we will be back. We would recommend to others. Thank you!

The best Vegas has to offer. Service is on point! Wedge salad is classic and unapologetic. Bone marrow appetizer is creative and unexpectedly amazing. The sea bass sets atop a mushroom risotto with such astounding flavors and boldness. It is truly breathtaking. The light crest on the Seabass opens up into the most juicy and scrumptious interior that is so well cooked it taste like monster.
