What a treat this was! Going to an ice skating ring in Las Vegas! I didn't even know they had an ice skating rink!A great time was enjoyed by the entire family! Watching my gdtr skate was such a treat! The only thing that would have made this an even better experience is if I didn't have to listen to a mother sitting next to me degrade her child on the ice! This small girl whom I thought was doing great and practicing her moves was so defeated and degraded by her mother that it broke my heart! I had to listen to this women be SO mean I almost wanted to slap her! This aside I think this rink is an excellent establishment and fun was had by all!

Dress appropriately! The rink is cold bring a heavy coat or jacket. Helmets are recommended for all skaters any certified safety helmet qualifies. They offer helmets to rent with an ID at the Skate Rental counter. Gloves are STRONGLY encouraged for all skaters. Not only will gloves keep your hands warm, but they can also provide a level of protection for your skin if you fall on the ice. Long pants and one pair of socks that come above the ankle are also encouraged. All guests $10.00, Military (must show valid ID) $7.00Any Skate Rental needed is $3.00 in addition to those prices. Walkers are Free and available on a first come, first served basis. Adults can help kids get the walkers onto the ice. They have annual passes that cost $375 which is valid for 1 year from the date you purchase till the next year same day. Everything is final and non refundable.

Clean facilities, 2 bathrooms for each side of the arena aka no line(!), and great lighting for all my Mom photo needs. Lower level snack bar has great custom coffee, first come first serve packaged sandwiches and pick-me-ups, gatorade, water, etc.The vending machines INSIDE the rinks were the hidden gem I didn't realize until the last day of my kid's tournament. At the time I went, there was NO stadium uncharge on the candy, chips or soda. $1.50 bags of chips, $2.50 20oz Sprite / Coke, etc. LVGK store had a nice selection of merchandise if you're a fan. The black Friday sale had lines out the door! I didn't see a restaurant open at the time we went but it's close to a handful of options in the shopping plaza OR the food court at Red Rock. Capriotti's makes a solid sandwich and I love the Side slice pizza there too. Temperature is cold but not bone chilling. They do a good job of regulating and keeping it maintained. Probably because the Henderson Knights also practice here...which is fun if you get to watch a practice too. They're so fast and powerful.

The gift shop is far too expensive to buy anything. You can find the same stuff and other places cheaper, but I love going here to watch the Stanley Cup champions Vegas Golden Knights practice.

I went during the summer and the ice was amazing, despite the heat. The facilities are impeccable and I was even able to book a last minute private skating lesson. I will definitely be making this part of my Vegas trips from now on.

My youngest son takes skating lessons hereHe loves the coaches and they are great with him. We like it as it's very family oriented and a great price. We also love the restaurant upstairs where we grab a little bite after class. It's become sort of a routine.

This arena is leveraged for Vegas Golden Knights practices, hockey programs, private skating and a lot more! There is also the Arsenal Pro Shop inside which has a wide variety of NHL apparel and toys. The MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub located inside the City National Arena. At the restaurant, you can watch the game or other sports that may be playing. There is a lot to do inside the City National Arena. If you're in the area, you should stop by and check it out! So I was excited finally got to play on the ice at City National Arena. Iceacholic Ohana normally play our adult hockey tournament once year in Anaheim, CA. This year one of the guys last moment signed team up for local tournament. It exciting mix it up and comfort of playing local tournament lot different. The locker rooms by far best part about the whole weekend (ended up championship game on Monday, four games in three days). I been fortunate played at other rinks in Vegas. Not only the size of the locker room. There more then enough room for as many players imagine, open area middle, hooks all around hang stuff, and clean. The same day for the showers and bathroom area. Two sheets of ice. One more fancy since it the practice rink for the Vegas Golden Knights. I got to play on both over the course of hockey tournament. Both nice ice play on and most part well maintained. Restaurant/Bar upstairs is great spot feel like drinking and watching games or Knights practice. Best part in building celebrate post game quick and not go anywhere. Heehee. Overall like the whole set up. I would recommend if looking for adult hockey tournament or adult league City National Arena is winnah!

My kid got to practice on the same ice as the Knights! The Vegas Golden Knights Academy's Learn to Skate Program is awesome - they have classes based on your child's skill level (tested in first day) and move up levels based on whether they want to do ice hockey or figure skating. The instructors are super nice and do their job well; my kid never skated without holding my hand before and now he goes faster than me and does all kinds of tricks and drills! The sessions are 8 weeks long and kids get tested to see if they can move up a level (Snowplow Sam #1-4, Basic Skills #1-2, then Hockey or Figure skating and become beasts). Parents, family and friends are always welcome to watch and it's cool AF! They also have public skate passes so your kid could practice more on their own a few times and take guests, definitely recommend taking advantage of those. Love this arena and The Arsenal store they have; we have bought so much awesome gear from there! GO KNIGHTS GO!
