City Cafe hit the spot! Shoutout to Laura for holding it down with great service--super friendly and on point. The place was clean and had a modern vibe, so no complaints there.I went with the City Cafe Burger, stacked with crispy onion rings, bacon, tomatoes, plus I added pickles and some barbecue sauce. It was cooked perfectly medium, juicy as hell, but could've used a little more seasoning to really pop. Solid 8.5/10.The fries were fresh and crispybasic but decent. Nothing crazy, so I'd give 'em a 7/10.All in all, good food, good service, and good vibes. I'll definitely slide through again!

Steak huevos rancheros very delicious, waitress was very customer service oriented. Will definitely be back for the daily specials.

At first glance you'd think that the re-designed and open air dining area would be the precursor for a great meal. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The wings were ordered cooked light but came out over cooked, crunchy and extremely dry. The taco shells were very flimsy and broke apart when you picked them up making them difficult to eat. They also lacked a tremendous amount of flavor and seasoning. The only thing on the plate that tasted ok and was cooked well were the fries. This was definitely my first and last time at this cafe.

Waiting at the reception area to get seated been over five minutes seeing people wiping down tables. No one's in here yet I haven't been seated over 10 minutes.

Laura doubles up as a hist and waitress!It's a quiet nightI think the last two Cafés here were better in terms of food quality, prize, and choice for breakfast, but hey, do what you gotta do for your property.The music here is usually 80s or 90s throwback jams. For like the last 10 years. I jam out, but the ambiance has changed a few times. It does seem modern, like when the line and all the other cenues nearby revamped, it looks like a 2024 apartment.I had everything on the menu at the last 2 restaurants here at this location. It was a 3.¹ each timeNow. It's a but better in terms of quality since the pricing seems much higher for a breakfast til noon menu.I have eaten here at "City Café" about 21 times after cashing a check and gambling a few hundred. They need to do a special for industry or nightlife guys, otherwize all you get here are older couples that are super quiet. If you like a quiet morning breakfast with your lover and you're a senior, this place is amazing. You are a tourist with older music with older servers with a quick no BS kinda service.I myself am in my early 30s and want party vibes and upbeat nature. This is a 5-star for older couples from the Midwest or the South.For a Vegas native that gambles, drinks, tavles, slots, and DJs, works 50-80 hrs, eats a lot, and likes talking to folks, listening to great music, this epot could do better.The menu is available on photos, but it is pricey as hell. Have breakfast instead at Ellis Island's Village Pub Café, South Point's Coronado Café, Steiner's, Distill, Lodge instead.

Decidedly unimpressive. I can't remember stepping back into the 1970s to grab a mediocre breakfast, but apparently that is what happened when I walked across the street from my hotel. The very first thing I noticed was that it was closed at 7:30am despite listing as open 24hrs. The carpet, tables and decors are dated, and the prices were on the high side. Sometimes you find that diamond hidden inside some back corner untouched by the decades... What I am saying is that I was wishing that the coffee and breakfast were going to be worth it, instead of all kinds of meh. I will say that the food arrived quickly, and I was waited on immediately. Also, my waiter was very attentive. Three positives that offset the rest of the meh. Don't walk in here thinking you are going to get a wide selection. I was looking for breakfast, and those options were very limited.The coffee was mediocre and definitely not hot when it arrived. I even though of looking around for a microwave. Sure could have used something other than half and half to give it some flavor, but again, being n a 70s time warp, that's all they probably know. How can you mess up eggs and bacon? Well, you serve it as eggs and sausage. I guess that's an honest mistake maybe?Undercooked hash browns sort of round it out. I chose to depart from keto for this? My mistake. Certainly will not be returning.

Have you built up a longshoreman's appetite from walking through Las Vegas , avoiding all the couples holding yard long daiquiri drinks having a domestic on the sidewalks? If so, City Cafe may be for you. The breakfast is decently priced and has huge portions, if you're extra peckish. Nothing too fancy quality wise.

The restaurant inside the Silver Sevens Casino was recently renovated and I must say, it's a cute place! I don't remember the old menu well enough to compare, but the pizza is always a good choice with crust that is thin and crispy and lots of cheese. I'm not usually a crust eater, but this is good enough to eat the whole thing. Mozzarella sticks were also really tasty, although the marinara had a layer of grease on top that was not appetizing. We tried three of the four deserts and all were a hit! My tiramisu was moist and presented really fun with chocolate and caramel drizzle. The lava cake was warm and chocolate-y but the "lava" doesn't pool out of the cake like a lava cake should. My kids thought the Oreo cake was the best and it was a huge serving. Service was very nice and quick.

On the slide downhill, City Cafe needs rejuvenation in management. The is getting back to the old ways. The pizza crust was too hard, too much cheese, not enough pepperoni, and bland tomato sauce. The Loco Moco was decent. The Avocado Toast was kinda gross, paste not slices. It must have sat for a moment because it started getting oxidized brown. The service was eccentric, one server constantly mumbling to herself. The couple of ladies sitting next us were so loud about the specifics of hot sauce, they were escorted out for causing too much noise. I think this was our last visit until we hear word of improvement.

This cafe is located inside Silver Sevens Hotel and Casino and was formerly known as Sterling Spoon Cafe. I've eaten at this place several times and I've always been impressed with the quality of the food. The staff does their best to create a warm and friendly environment for customers.Pros -Convenient LocationFriendly StaffGood FoodCons -No All Day BreakfastSoda is $5 (I can go to Chevron and buy Coke 2/$3, so $5 seems excessive)Closing Time is 9pm and they stop seating customers at 8:30pmServers are friendly, but are very inexperienced and lack training, this is a management issue though.The restaurant is in an area of the building that doesn't receive much foot traffic, so it's empty more than it is full. This leads.to everyone becoming easily overwhelmed as soon as they become so-called "busy".Overall, this place is pretty decent and I hope it gets the business it needs to succeed.. if they fixed the cons listed above, I'd feel confident giving a 5 star rating.
