Citizens Kitchen and Bar

I ate breakfast here twice over the weekend so I had the opportunity to try a few different things on the menu. The standout for me was the eggs Benedict with seasoned potatoes. My boyfriend and I also tried the biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, and the California omelet, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The portions were great, and it's clear they use quality ingredients.Service was friendly and efficient, even with how busy it got in the mornings. Definitely recommend if you're staying at Mandalay Bay or just looking for a solid breakfast spot on the Strip!

The interior is beautiful and the service was decent. We ordered turkey sandwhich, chicken pasta and a chicken breakfast wrap. The portions are decently sized. This place is missing 3 stars due to taking our entree which was half full without asking and throwing it away.We didn't even notice or were asked if we were done with the plate. I was pretty disappointed in that as I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. Please don't assume and ask. The servers were attentive gave as good service. We had a baby so it's family friendly and there's a coffee bar and quick lunch for to go orders which I highly recommend.

Citizens looks like it should be serving up something great, but honestly? The food was so lackluster. Bland, unseasoned--giving full "YT food" energy. Nothing had that wow factor, just basic and forgettable.If you're starving and need something quick, it'll do the job, but don't expect anything flavorful or memorable. Plenty of better options near Mandalay Bay. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Stopped here for breakfast before a convention. It wasn't too busy, but a few of the hosts were a little rude and wouldn't sit one of us until we were both there even though there were only two us. Luckily one host was nice enough to seat one of us. Our server was nice, except no one came to fill our waters at all. I got the cappuccino and that was good. I usually get alternative milk, but it was an extra $1.25 which is crazy expensive. I got the breakfast burrito to eat and replaced the chorizo with extra bacon. There still wasn't much bacon, but there was a lot of egg. It was still good, and the chips and guac/salsa it came with were good as well. It was one of the few breakfast places in the hotel and we came here out of convenience. I probably wouldn't go back unless I needed to.

We were confused as to where to wait in line, if we were in line for the restaurant or just a quick service order or do you order at the counter and then find a seat, like Panera Bread. Of course, we waited in the wrong line. We waited about 10 minutes which isn't too bad to be seated. We had a cheeseburger and a loco moco bowl. Overall, the food was okay, it was on the pricier side but nothing special for me to come back or to try. Service was nice.

We stopped by before heading out for the night. It was really busy and they don't add your name to a list, you must stay in line. Luckily we got in pretty quick. I wasn't too hungry but wish I was because my food was so good. I just got chicken strips and fries but man that chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. My husband got the seafood ceviche. The chips were homemade and amazing. My husband said his ceviche was so good also. We will be coming back as this was our first time exploring the Mandalay Bay Casino and staying there.

Surprisingly, Mandalay Bay doesn't offer many late-night food options despite its 'city that never sleeps' reputation. However, I stumbled upon Citizens Kitchen, the only place in the food court open at 11 PM!From the warm service provided by the cashier to the attentive staff, every part of my visit was a delight. If you're looking for a place to eat late at night, I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem.I had their OG burger which was decent and the fries along with an IPA...All of the above have it the spot!

Was here last night as allOf the restaurants were closed by 1030. This was only late night option and food was mediocre. Think of a cross between tropical smoothie, Starbucks, subway and gas station food. Prices are reasonable but the food was not fresh. The walk up service was spotty.

Terrible food and service. I ordered a coffee and quiche, and after taking a bite out of the cold quiche, I asked if they could warm it up some more, to which the woman responded that they couldn't because of health and safety issues. She didn't offer other options and the was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I also overheard other people in line complaining about the same things - food was cold, long wait times, staff was unhelpful. Don't waste your time and money here. You're better off with Starbucks

Breakfast was good at Citizens. We split the ultimate breakfast and ordered a bowl of fruit to share. The chicken sausage was some of the best links I have ever tasted. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly. I believe they also have fresh salads available at the togo checkout counter. This is a nice breakfast option at Mandalay Bay!
