The food was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere allows for long visits and business conversations. The people are so very nice and have great smiles! I hope to see their business thriving in the future.

Note: This review is for the upstairs lounge bar only, I did not order food. The music was much too loud, conversation was almost impossible. The lounge's couches were tatty and overcrowding the small space to the point where it was awkward to step around the bar area, bordering on a fire hazard. I would have forgiven all this (the music playlist was good), except my experience at the bar was the most bizarre I've ever had, even for Vegas which we all know is a pretty bizarre town. The bartender was so slow that people in line around me were loudly complaining about the wait time. There was no drink menu that I could see. I saw a box of Remy Martin on the shelf and I attempted to order some. The bartender told me it was "just the box". Who does that? Empty boxes on a bar back shelf?? Super tacky. Then I tried to order Walker Gold Label, because I could see the actual bottle, and I was charged $38.99 for a double (almost the retail price of a full bottle, but whatever). AFTER my card was charged, the bartender says, we don't have that either! At this point I'm mystified, feeling like I'm in a fever dream. "I can see the bottle right there," I said, pointing. He told me he could get me some Jameson instead and get me a refund for the remainder-- but when I asked the price of a Jameson double he said it was $32. That's astronomical even for the Strip, which this place is definitely not. You can buy a whole bottle of Jameson for less than that. And then, to add insult to injury, it took him over 30 minutes to get me that pitiful Jameson double because he "had to have someone bring the bottle from the back". Mind you, this was Saturday night, and I'm expected to believe he doesn't have time to stock a bar with ONE kind of whiskey or scotch? When I complained that he should give me a heavier pour after charging me forty dollars and making me wait so long, he had the nerve to say "I'm the owner and you shouldn't speak to me like that". Okay? So? Your mediocre establishment is misleading and overpriced!! He didn't even bring me ice even though I'd asked for it a bunch of times. My friend had to go get it for me. And I wasn't the only one having a bad experience at the bar. I saw a group of women getting charged $16 each for mixed drinks that were in tiny plastic cups, and they had to hassle him for their change. What a mess! For those prices you might as well drink at the Bellagio and get better service at least!! I never got my $7 refund and it's been several days, so I'm assuming he didn't bother following through on his word either. Great! What a letdown.

Champagne Kitchen and Lounge is located in a strip plaza on Arville and Tropicana with plenty of parking.Inside is cozy and inviting with comfortable seating for a table, a banquette, an upstairs lounge, and they have an outdoor patio. The atmosphere is relaxing with a peaceful vibe and good music. Menu offers a tasty selection of Ethiopian and American cuisine including breakfast items, Ethiopian entrees, vegan, and fresh juice. They have late night food such as samosa, wings, lamb chops, burger, sandwich, bottle drinks and shots. Hot tea ($2.50) and Fresh Mango Juice ($5.99) is comforting and refreshing! A spritz of lemon juice on mango brightens the sweetness, and makes it delightful!Pot Stickers (8 pieces, $12) are crispy and yummy! It has a terrific crunch filled with veggies, chicken, and there's a light drizzle of sweet chili sauce, so good! Veggie Egg Rolls (8 pieces, $12) are also good, tasty and freshly made.Pasta and Veggie ($16.99) is very filling and delicious! It's spaghetti with flavorful meat sauce, served with a refreshing salad, stew of cabbage, potatoes, and carrots, and a side of red beets.Cinnamon Spiced Hot Tea is soothing and yummy! It has a wonderful aroma of cinnamon, and adding a little sugar gives a nice sweetness.Overall, service from the owner Hiwot (Eve) is friendly, attentive, and courteous. The restaurant is family-owned. Eve's brother Million helps manage the business, and he is very kind.

If you're in the mood for Ethiopian food, this is the place to go! We were treated to a wonderful variety of tasty vegetarian and meaty dishes on their platters, and a generous serving of their signature injera, which was not too thick and a perfect vehicle for their food. The place was being recently renovated inside with new furniture and place settings, and the owners couldn't have been nicer. I hope more people find out about this labor of love.

Bartender aka owner is extremely rude !! DO NOT PATRONIZE this place. He claims he is the owner but he's behind the bar making juice cocktails!! We literally had to tell him how to make a tequila sunrise and he threatened to kick us out because of it . To add insult to injury there was only 3 ppl in there the entire night !! Cork and thorn and SIVAS is wayyy better !! Don't waste your time or gas

Came by this restaurant because of a comment review on social media. I was told this Ethiopian restaurant uses real spices sourced and brought straight from the Old Country. The host of this place, Million, had the best hospitality and recommended the best dishes (they all looked amazing to be honest). I appreciated that their injera was actually gluten free and not cut with other grains besides teff. Prices are reasonable for the amount of meat on the plate. It was honestly hard to stop eating, it was so good. Will be back.
