Chalong Thai Street Kitchen

Second time visiting Chalong and it was as good, if not better, than the first! Love the friendly atmosphere, great service and the delicious food. Everything we have tried has been tasty - Tom Kha soup, chicken potstickers, Thai fried rice, Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Pad Prik King and mango sticky rice. Love the heat and flavors! It's small, but we've never had to wait for a table. If you love Thai food, give Chalong a try!

I had a favorite go to Thai spot but the owner sold and the new owner didn't live up to previous standards. So when a friend invited me here to lunch I jumped at the opportunity to try a new place. Thai is my favorite cuisine. I love the combination of so many flavors and colors blend into a perfect harmony. The restaurant is on the corner of blue diamond and Buffalo. It's not a large restaurant and it's minimally staffed. They stayed busy for lunch with tables full, and multiple people coming to pick up to go orders and they even had some people sitting at the bar to eat. I went with my favorite the red curry, and we started with the fried calamari. The spice level is one to five and my waiter suggested a three so I had to go 4. The spice was nice and I could definitely handle the heat. I am someone who likes it spicy. They were pretty busy so I never got a chance to ask for their spice rack. Next time I go, I'll make sure I get that in the beginning. The stuff was great but when there's two of you with to go orders and full tables, they can't be everywhere. This was not a breaker for me. We need to be able to be patient with small businesses in order to help them grow. My red curry was delicious. It was super saucy and had a great amount of vegetables. The chicken in there was good and I demolished the bowl. For me, I like this red curry better than some of your larger known Thai restaurants in town. This tasted like it had that homemade mom touch. If only. I wish my mom had been Thai. Love you, mom. I get a bit weary to order calamari as it can be really chewy and heaven forbid fishy. The calamari was on point. It was some of the best I've had in a long time. I love when they have the rounds but especially when they have the little squid pieces that get all the crunchy little bits. The batter was perfect. It was light yet crispy and the calamari was so light and the perfect texture. Then you dip it into either a mayo based sauce or a lemon oil sauce. I was in love. I'm pretty sure I have to go back just to order the calamari. It may be a new obsession for me.Delicious Thai food. Go give it a shot. I am definitely coming back here. Way more often. I've gotta try Panang curry, Tom Yum soup, Thai basil chicken, Spring rolls, fried tofu, papaya, salad, etc. So glad my friend suggested this place for lunch today. It's a new favorite.

My favorite Thai restaurant Best service and friendly people and the food is amazing

Pricing unfortunately has increased twice within 9 months of my initial review. The rate at which pricing is increasing is quite alarming since the cost for an appetizer is close to the cost of an entree, but regardless, still a good spot to go to.

Small cute place and everything we ate is tasty good and affordable!! We come here when we go to Vegas. Server is attentive and accomodating.

Just ordered take out tonight and it was EXCELLENT! I got the green curry (vegetarian) and the spring rolls with tofu. Both had great flavor!Pro tip it's cheaper to order delivery on their website vs thru Yelp or GrubHub.Can't wait to try other items!

I have nothing but great things to say about this spot. Came here after a workout within the same plaza so it was just so convenient. I truly haven't had such good Thai food in a while. The Tom Kha (a must-get whichever Thai restaurant I go to) was beyond my expectations. The ratio between sourness of the soup and coconut milk was the perfect balance. Lots of mushroom and chicken in the soup as well, and I appreciate the portion size of the large. Chicken stay was cooked well and flavorful, loved the peanut sauce. Got a beef Thai salad, they are really in point with their spice levels. Between 1-5 and we got a 4, it was a true 4 alright. Pad See Ew was a level 3 and it was perfect. Stir-fried so well, had a slight wok hei which is what I'd want. Absolutely hit the spot! Ambiance was great, clean, beautiful interior, great service. Thai tea is always a must! 10/10 would recommend and will be back to try other dishes.

It was so yummy! The flavors just burst in your mouth. We got all level 1 spice just because we wanted to take all the flavors first and next time we will definitely go up at least 3 or 4. We loved it
