I was brought here by some friends and was pleasantly surprised! The inside was very clean, and painted with fabulous murals of Latin influence with bright and bold colors. The dishes served here are authentic Mexican food. Everything is made to order fresh and they emphasize this with a sign so don't expect to come in and out. For my dish I selected the Birria plate and it was delicious. I'm not sure what type of beef they utilize but it was definitely high quality meat. It was actually much better than other places I've had Birria from.Everyone was so nice and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was great and I really appreciate that. I definitely recommend trying this place.

A family-owned Mexican joint making everything from scratch.A few weeks ago I did a search for best Mexican food in Las Vegas on my mobile Yelp app and Carolina's came up as #1. How have I missed this place? We came in and ordered Tinga and Quesabirria tacos. Each plate comes with delicious rice & beans. Tinga tacos are shredded chicken stewed in smoky, spicy, and sweet tomato sauce. These hard tacos really hit the spot! And the Quesabirria tacos were filled with a lot of very tender beef, cheese, onion, cilantro, and mild green salsa. Greasy deliciousness! As we sat here stuffing our faces we were talking about what we're going to try on our next visit. It was all that good!I also love all the art on every wall showcasing beautiful Mexican people and scenes. Each dish is served on stunning handcrafted terracotta Mexican clay plates. Makes you really feel like you're in Mexico. Service could not have been anymore friendlier. Of course we'll be back!

Very good Mexican food. Came this weekend and made the mistake of coming Saturday afternoon. The wait was just over 45 minutes. With that said once we were sat the service was very good and friendly. Ordered two different types of tacos and both the chicken and quesabirria tacos were very good. Rice and beans are delicious too. Would come back but not on a Saturday.

Upon walking in ...long line for to go orders. 20 min wait to be seated. Music on point..Very busy all tables occupied. Thanks to Tiktok I'm here. And Since I'm an Elite Yelpie it's a Bonus. My waitress, Roxy Foxy, was incredibly polite and attentive. However, while other tables received chips and salsa promptly, we were unfortunately overlooked. After a twenty-minute wait, I did notice a gentleman stepped in to assist, as the restaurant was clearly very busy. Another waitress then brought us our chips and salsa. Now, for the main course the Tacos de Birria were amazing. My enchiladas had a slightly burnt bottom, which surprisingly added a delicious depth of flavor. The rice was delectable, but the olla beans lacked seasoning. The horchata was wonderfully refreshing, though a bit too sweet for my taste. A simple addition of water perfectly balanced it.The single-stem roses and charming heart-shaped straws were delightful touches.I'll definitely return for that hot drink!

This is such a cute little restaurant. The attention to detail is unmatched. There is a reason they have such high reviews. The inside was beautiful, the employees are super friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. Everything is seasoned and flavorful. The chips taste like they are made in house every morning, you just can't beat it! My husband had the birria nachose that were DELICIOUS. I had the 3 crunchy tacos (Mamas Tacos) and the flavors were so good. The meat was seasoned well and their salsa was fresh and delicious. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. The menu is small but the flavors are big. Definitley give this place a try, you won't be disapointed!

The food here was really good. When my wife told me she wanted to take me here I had never heard of it so I wasn't that excited but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was SOOO good. Waitress was so sweet and so nice & the food was even better. Honestly. The only thing I'd say is next time I'd get takeout because the inside is very cute, but it's really tight and not many tables to sit at. I'm a vegetarian by the way. We have a couple options!

I had a yearning for Mexican food and I happened on this fantastic restaurant in Northwest Las Vegas. I started my lunch with the Carne En Su Jugo. This was tender chunks of beef with beans and topped with bacon and onions. It also had a whole stewed jalapeno in the middle (picture). This fish was so delicious, I should have ordered the bowl instead of the cup. It was served with two fresh corn tortillas that were excellent.I also ordered the cheese Enfri Joladas. These were amazing! Corn tortillas filled with cheese and topped with la crema sauce and avocado slices. Delish! My server was Roxie and she was friendly and attentive. After I started the enchiladas she asked if I was enjoying them and said she has something to spice them up if I wanted. She immediately brought over two containers of some very tasty hot sauce!A nice find for Mexican food. I will travel out if my way to return here again soon.

Hands down my fave Mexican spot. Service is amazing! Although the spot is small it's cozy and which is fine cause the delicious food makes up for it. Mamas tacos and Birria eggs rolls are a fave. Our waitress said to try the enchiladas next time which I will. I love when they say " see you tomorrow" when I leave cause it makes me want to come back tomorrow! LOL!

Just finished eating at Carolina's Mexican Kitchen on Craig, and I can't stop thinking about it. This place is an absolute treasure. Everything about the experience was top-notch, from the warm, friendly service to the mind-blowing food.Right when we walked in, we were greeted like old friends--seriously, it felt like every single staff member said hello. We were seated quickly, and I have to mention this: the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. It was stocked with everything--feminine products, baby items, you name it. That level of thoughtfulness? I knew right then we were in for something special. We kicked things off with guac, salsa, and chips, and wow--fresh, flavorful, and totally addictive. Then came the Birria eggrolls, and let me just say, I've never had anything like them. The meat was crazy tender, packed with flavor, and they didn't hold back on the filling. The consommé was rich and full-bodied--none of that watered-down stuff. Topped with crema and cheese? Absolute perfection.Next up, we split the Chicken Tinga tacos, and let me tell you, they were just as incredible. Perfectly seasoned, generously stuffed, and the flavors worked so well together. The rice and beans on the side were fantastic too. I'm not usually a bean person (my wife gladly took those off my plate), but the rice? The best Mexican rice I've ever had--fluffy, moist, and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, the owners came over to chat with us. They were so genuine and kind, asking how we found their spot and making us feel completely at home. This meal was something special--one of those rare experiences where everything just feels right. We'll be back, no question, and I'll be telling everyone I know to check out Carolina's Mexican Kitchen. If you're reading this, trust me--go. You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

After hearing about the rave reviews of Carolina's Mexican Kitchen, I finally decided to try it the day after Christmas! The restaurant is relatively small, and we waited about 30 minutes for a party of 5. The inside is nicely decorated and features a lot of artwork and serving-ware that honors Mexican heritage. To start off our meal, we ordered endless chips and salsa and birria egg rolls. Highly recommend trying the hot salsa! It was very spicy, but so full of flavor. The birria appetizer came with 3 giant egg rolls stuffed with birria and cheese. The egg rolls were perfectly fried and the meat was juicy and tender. The consomé was also delicious and had the perfect saltiness. The egg rolls can easily be shared among 3 people. For my meal, I ordered the quesabirria tacos, which came with consomé, rice, and beans. Like the egg rolls, the tacos were filled with tons of meat and were crunchy and juicy. The rice and beans were also very flavorful and cooked well. I ended my meal with a delicious guava and cream paleta! The prices are definitely are the pricier side, but it's easily worth it due to the quality food, portion sizes, and authenticity. In terms of service, our waitress was extremely friendly, accommodating, and eager to answer our questions. The owner was also very friendly and stopped by our table to thank us for coming by. The wait for food was minimal, and we got our food very quick. Overall, Carolina's Mexican Kitchen has some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had! I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes and their coffee drinks!
