this place has gotten even better.now they offer free water (last time they charged us $3 or so for bottled water). the tortillas now seem homemade/fresh.the salsas are still great -- some of the only actually hot salsas I've come across.the music is always good here. good vibes. we want to come back and try the barbacoa!

First time I tried place late 2024, I ordered take-out. Carnitas Ahogada- 3/5- bread was really stale at one corner. Carnitas was good.Birria (Goat) Plate- 2/5- received diced birria that extremely hard and chewy. Fresh tortillas and salsas are what made up for it (5/5)Took me some time to come back since I had an ok experience. Was pretty empty when I came in as well. First one in before noon.2nd timeTaco Mixto- 4/5- very good, would be nice to have some texture. Tortilla was tearing. Maybe needed two? Taco Asada- 4/5- very good as well. All the condiments are what makes it hit.Taco Birria a la Plancha 3/5- overall taco was pretty dry. Needed the queso and some seasoning. Would try that next timeAmbiance- clean, from restaurant to kitchen. Manager was very attentive as well as staff. Table touched a couple of times.Overall better experience than the first time I ordered take out. Would have given 5 stars if they didn't placed a bottle water next to me and charged me for it. Snook in an extra charge I wasn't aware of.Would still come back for the tacos tho (:

My husband recently ate at the Eastside location and had raving reviews. He found out they opened this location that is closer to home. The aguas frescas are giant sized! I called them Big Gulp Aguas! Def worth the money aid.We had a sampling of different tacos and of course the birria quesadillas. Everything was flavorful and delicious. You get a sampling of different salsas to go with your tacos. The restaurant was impeccably clean. I was very full by the end. Its nice that they opened this southwest location because we seem to be lacking non-fast food mexican over here (at a great price). We will be back!I wish the chips and salsa were free, but at $1.99 it was not a terrible price.

Very expensive Mexican food. Delicious pastor. The taco, while very big, was like $5.50 each. The burrito, had rice and beans but was tiny for $15. The pastor was very delicious. The tacos were really big compared to the burrito so I recommend you to get the tacos instead of burritos if you were to come.

I had the pleasure of trying tortas ahogadas from Guadalajara, and they did not disappoint. The sauce was a perfectly spiced blend that kept me wanting more with every bite. I also enjoyed the chicken mole, which was incredibly flavorful and expertly prepared. To complement the meal, we had the largest and most delicious horchata I've ever tasted. This restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind. The quality and authenticity of their dishes far surpass anything Roberto's offers--there's simply no comparison.

Great place. Have been to the one on eastern but elected to try this one closer to home. The service was great. Food was wonderful. The tacos dorados with birria are delicious. Crunchy and tasty. The ambiance is more elegant than the eastern hole in the wall but still casual. Waiting for liquor license so no michelada yet.

Ahogadas Guadalajara is an absolute gem! The ambiance is inviting and beautifully designed, making it the perfect spot for any meal. Their menu strikes the right balance between familiar and unique, offering a variety of delicious options that stand out for their flavor and presentation. We came for breakfast (they open at 9 AM and close at 8 PM daily) and asked for their popular dishes since they just opened a month ago. Every recommendation was a hit! The papas topped with carnitas were incredible--the carnitas were perfectly tender and flavorful, making it an instant favorite. The quesotorta with birria dip is a must-try. It has a crispy, golden exterior with a cheesy, tender interior that's pure heaven. The meats here are the highlight--whether it's carnitas, birria, or any other dish, their preparation is top-notch. Even the house-made salsas are outstanding! My personal favorite is their verde sauce, bursting with flavor. But don't be fooled by the cute pink sauce--it's the spiciest one on the table! For Disney fans looking for a magical dining experience outside the parks, Ahogadas Guadalajara offers that same spark of joy with every bite. It's a place I'll be returning to again and again!

We stopped here while in town to change it up since we come from Pahrump. Ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and very clean and appealing. Loved their decor. We got our food to go because we had our pet in the car that day; but we really liked the meat quality; we thought it could of been seasoned a little more/better, but the portion was great for the price, came with rice/beans and tortillas. They also provided pickled carrots which were delicious! Must try this new place if you're just passing through or looking for a nice sit down meal for you and your other half or family! The service was prompt and very friendly staff.

The inside is extremely clean and employees are welcoming and friendly. We tried the Agua de Chia and Agua de Jamaica for our drinks. Both were tasty and refreshing and pretty big servings. For our meal we tried the torta ahogada, tacos de canasta, tacos dorados and two tacos de birria. This is hands down the best Mexican food restaurant in the SW part of Vegas. The food came out promptly and full of flavor. Authentic cooking and flavors. We're definitely coming back.
