Carmelita’s Mar & Tierra

My husband and I went for the first time tonight. We have been supporting Leticia Mitchell since she opened her first place in Centennial Hills. The food here is so delicious as her other locations. In fact, it's a step above all the rest. Our waiter was very attentive and served us well. My husband gave him a sizeable tip. And the place is a very lovely venue that would be great for an event. This is a true diamond in the valley! EXCELLENTA, my friend!

Carmelita's Mar & Tierra is a real deal very nice Mexican Seafood (lots of shellfish, shrimp) and Steak Restaurant (T-bones, tomahawk) that is located near to downtown in not the nicest area but it is nice, clean, and attractive inside. They offer a bar area and have booths around the room and in the center are traditional tables. They also have a small stage for entertainment.We started with margaritas and the complimentary chips and salsa. The top shelf margarita was delicious and the happy hour margarita was strong enough. The salsa was very good and did run spicy.We tried an appetizer that was described as fish croquettes with chipotle aioli. They were tasty and were freshly made. They were very generous with the chipotle aioli. I only needed a couple spoonfuls and wasted a lot of it. My husband said that the shrimp a la diabla was one of the best he tasted in Las Vegas so far. He said that the rice and beans were delicious. the shrimp were cooked to perfection and was in a delicious but crazy spicy sauce. He doesn't think that most people would be able to eat it because of the extreme heat. Somehow he ate it but it really was too spicy hot for him.I tried the (tuna tower) called torre de tuna. It was very generous in size. It was very fresh tasting and did have good flavors to it. To me it seemed like more of an appetizer that can feed several people. The menu says that it contains rice. The rice was left off of mine so I got more fish.Our server was attentive and answered all questions that we had. Plates were cleared in a timely manor.If you want to try a nicer Mexican Restaurant this is it.

Friday night 630ish music pumping not too busy nice big open place decorated very nicely!! Service was a bit slow but food was good had dozen oysters and molcajete. Didn't try any alcoholic beverages but they looked good the restroom was a surprise very cool felt very proud to use it hehe!

So I did not actually eat the food as I was here for an event I was working for several influencers. The staff, management and the owner are very friendly. But looking at the food and cocktails that were being brought out they all looked absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! Parking is a bit challenging as there is limited parking up front but there is a back parking lot. The area can be sketch so be prepared for that but it may be worth coming by looking at the food and drinks.

Very good food and attentive service. We ordered the mimosa bottle service with guava, cucumber and mango juice, the Tres Leches French Toast and the chilaquiles molcajete. It was a LOT of food. I didn't try the steak in the chilaquiles but my friend said it deliciously and well seasoned. I tasted the non meat parts of the dish and it was very good. Well seasoned with a nice spice to it. The French toast was also very good.

Me encanto este lugar le doy 10 de 10 el ambiente fue bueno con buena música el lugar muy limpio y para empezar estuvimos muy bien atendidos por Enrique siempre estuvo al pendiente de nuestra mesa muy amable y siempre atento a lo que nos faltara nos trajo chips y salsa muy rica por cierto pedimos molcajete mar y tierra y pulpo zarandeado muy rico sabor en ambos y sirven muy abundante con tortillas hechas a mano horchata y agua de piña súper recomendado cuando regrese a Las Vegas voy a probar algo diferente del menú!

DJ was awesome on a Friday night! Fun atmosphere and cool bday celebration for our friend!

The service here was amazing, our waitress was sweet and attentive. The food and atmosphere however lacked. The meat was dry, and just not impressive in taste, presentation was lacking and different than advertised. When we were there we were the only customers at 6PM and a DJ blasting music...just an odd environment for a restaurant. It's also extremely overpriced for the quality--what they charge is insane for the quality of what you get.

Wow! This place was amazing, total surprise we had tried several plates burro enchilado, quesabirrias, tacos dorados and shrimp tostadas all were great. Can't wait to come back. Has become my favorite Mexican food

The place was great, music, food was delicious, drinks are also refreshing, we ordered a Guava lemonade! Fast and friendly service.
