Best 3 lbs of seafood! I love the seasoning. I'm not sure what the kitchen uses but the sauce is addicting. We got "Medium" spice and it wasn't too spicy (definitely could've gotten "hot"). The food isn't too heavy (in my opinion). The shrimp piece are thick and not over cooked (same with the mussels).I loved that there are options to add veggies besides potatoes and corn. The oysters were super fresh and a nice way to cut through the buttery seafood broil. Lastly, the funnel fries were a hit! As a dessert, it wasn't too sweet and the ice cream that came with the dessert was super yummy.I would definitely recommend coming by here to get your fill for seafood.

* Food - Crabs was in pieces as apposed to a "cluster"* ordered green mussel and some looked old and not fresh* sausage was only a few pieces and was supposed to be an "added item"* Service was very good. * Ambiance is very casual not crowded.NOTE:** Use your own discretion. It was our first time - but will not go back. Maybe read other reviews.

We played roulette on Yelp to find a dinner and Cap't Loui came up the winner. We love a good seafood boil, so why not! It was a Saturday night, so we did the Waitlist option on Yelp, but when we arrived we didn't need it as there is a ton of parking and seating in this venue. Located on the west side of Village Square at Sahara and Ft. Apache, they've got a really nice set up. They had two girls setting up holiday decorations while we were there, and a handful of additional employees in the restaurant. Our waiter was very nice. He explained the spice levels and how everything worked and we ordered. I will say, their version of "market price" is much higher than any seafood place we've been in in 2024. $47/lb for crab? $20/lb for shrimp? The grocery store across the street had crab advertised at $9.99/lb and shrimp for $5.99/lb this week, but billing in the cost of everything else to run the business might be what's happening here. Idk, but we definitely spent more than what we spent at the last boil spot we visited for 2 lbs instead of the 3lbs we got. They do give you a lot of options for sides and we opted for noodles. You get potatoes and corn in your boil bag, every bag comes with them. There are two sauces - Cap't Louis and lemon pepper. Our waiter explained Capt Louis as a 2 on the spicy scale and as I can't have spice at all, we opted for lemon pepper. The food was not bad. The garlic noodles we definitely garlic-y. No vampires were coming after us with those bad boys. The lemon pepper gave a different taste to the seafood than we were used to, which was unique for sure. I would dock another star for the music, as it was way too loud, but our waiter was so cool, he earned it back. If you're able to convince the teenagers working to turn the music down enough so you can have conversations over your meal, do let me know what you asked, cause it didn't work for us. The playlist was interesting tho, like the Kidz Bop version of the top 20 for adults. Overall, it was an experience, but if we go back it'll have to be a special occasion experience. No discounts for Veterans, or first responders, either, according to the female who brought us the bill.

Came in for dinner on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly. Menu is like any other seafood boil place.Food came out hot and fresh and the garlic noodles are a must get! I would skip the french fries. I really liked the house sauce and medium spice was perfect for me. The medium spice I would say was a 6-7/10 on a spice scale.Overall, service was great, food was delicious, and we'll definitely be back!

I ate Lunch here for the first time. It's so close to my house but this is first time to dine here. They have 14.95 lunch special that includes 1 pound of seafood of your choice, a side dish and soda. Good food and value for money. And service is really friendly. My fave Cajun place for now. I'll be back for sure.

I had no idea what would replace Jollibee and I thought anything that did would have been a disappointment but Capt Loui was a fine addition to Summerlin. Regardless of all the other Seafood Boil in Summerlin or in the area, I like Capt Loui the most.Even though to me, seafood boils are meant to be shared and ate family style, but when it's this good (even if I order 2 lbs), go get your own. My favorite moment is when the server arrives with my bag and opens it up in front of me so I can smell the steam. The butter garlic noodles is a must get for me, even though I like to eat rice more.

In A Nutshell:-Cap't Loui has that secret sauce that makes these seafood boils A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!-I thoroughly enjoyed devouring my 1 pound of Dungeness Crab, which included some potatoes & corn.-You should also pick a side or two, I opted for their Garlic Noodles, which I couldn't finish, but brought back home in the sauce in the bag.Overall, this place is really good if you are looking for fulfilling seafood boil!

Cap't Loui has been bookmarked in my "Must Try" folder for so long and today was the day we decided to pay them a visit. My sister and I had been craving a good, reasonably priced seafood boil and from the looks of their menu and the amazing reviews, we knew this would be our next spot to try. We came during lunch, which made me realize they're probably more of a dinner place, but it was nice to have a quiet restaurant just to ourselves for our sister date! Our server was super nice and answered all the questions we had about the drink menu and market pricing. My sister and I decided to share a Boiler Special, with one pound of snow crab, one pound of head on shrimp, sausage, potatoes and eggs. We just had to give everything a try, and we were sooo excited. Once the food came out, immediately we knew this was going to be our new go-to spot. The amount of food that we had to work through was not only generous, but straight up impressive. It was a ton of food and even better, a ton of their delicious Cap't Loui seasoned sauce. Everything was amazing. We pretty much killed the entire meal, which wasn't easy, but we couldn't have let anything go to waste. 1000% Cap't Loui deserves their 4.8 star rating on Yelp. The quality of the food and the kind service will be the reasons we come back!
