Canyon Gate Country Club

Don't know if they are open to the general public (if not, make a friend.) Beautiful course, great facilities and great/helpful team. Attended a SCC golf tourney and experienced all the Wonderful they had to offer. Thank you Canyon Gate and Speedway Childrens Charities. If you get a chance, give them a go...or 18.

The golf course at Canyon Gate Country Club is fun to play. Like many courses, it has a range of difficulty depending on the hole.The staff in the pro shop were friendly. The drink cart girl was great.The course for this time of year (February) was in average condition. The greens were tricky but fun.If you ever get a chance to play the course - it's a fun track!

Wow what an expectational place, customer service and professionalism. we had a wonderful round of golf then enjoyed a world class lunch! Only wish they had EV Charging Stations on location.

Lovely luncheon in a beautiful room. The philharmonic gala committee had their wrap up luncheon. Charming waitress. So quietly done. Food was tasty and nicely prepared. Lovely setting. Hope to go back there again.

We recently became members here, they are running a $99/month special for the first year for social membership. Social membership gives you access to their pool, gym and country club and 50% off food and non alcoholic beverages at the grill. This is a great deal, look at the picture of my burger.. it's normally $13.50 but I paid $6.75!! That includes a side too. They have daily specials in the evening on weekdays, like pizza night, pasta night, crab legs, prime rib and getting 50% off these specials is awesome, not to mention, food tastes really good.However 18% service charge is applied to all food and beverages and that does not include tip. They do have a full bar and every Friday is 1/2 price wine between 4pm-8pm. The gym is well equipped and has great views of the golf course and the mountains. Towels and water are available. Direct access to men's and women's locker room from the gym is a plus.The Locker rooms has nice and clean showers, steam room, towels and basic toiletries like toothbrush, mouthwash, hair brush, deo, hairdryer, sunscreen and lotion are provided. Pool is open during summer and is usually pretty quiet.

My new club!Although a corporation, the CGCC is a very nice place to be. Since joining 3 months ago, I think this club is right up there with most other private club in terms of amenities, staff and facility. Probably the best value in town when compared to other private clubs. The driving range is sufficient. However the range balls are below country club standard. Hitting mat also need some work. I prefer hitting off of the grass. The putting and chipping area are close and in great condition. The golf course is well maintained with generous fairways, true greens and variety of holes for all skill levels. The layout presents 18 unique holes to keep you on your toes. The par 5s are reachable in two. Many holes have water hazard with sloping fairway so accuracy off the tee is a must. The tee boxes could use some work. Also the bunkers have crushed rock so this will take some getting used to (I prefer fluffy sand). Would be nice to have "today's hole location" on the first hole or at the pro shop. The golf towels are very below par. The grill room is one of the best I've seen. The view out towards north has 9th and 18th hole. The staff is very friendly and service is timely. I have not used the tennis court or the gym. Men's room does not have a jacuzzi and the shower stalls are a bit underwhelming. This is a ClubCorp facility so access to XLife is available at additional cost. Overall this club is a great value club. Not the best, but certainly doesn't carry the best price tag.

My family and I were in Las Vegas on a work trip and decided to check out Canyon Gate Country Club as it is an affiliate of our country club we belong to at home. I was able to made a reservation through our club app. Upon arrival, we checked in at the gate and the drive up was nice. We were able to find parking in the lot and walk up to the main clubhouse. We masked up and when walked in, there was no one there. No one to greet us or tell us where to go so we wandered around for a few minutes until we happened upon The Grill. I told a lady working there that we had a reservation and she said it's walk in only and that their reservation portal on their app is down. There was again, no host to tell us where to go so I had to track down one of the servers. We grabbed a nice table by the window with a view of their course. Eddie, our server quickly approached us bringing over waters and getting our orders put in. He let me know the chef is Hawaiian so my poke bowl choice was a house favorite. My husband ordered the dover sole burrito. It didn't take long for our food to arrive. Delicious, well prepared, and fair to generous portions. Shoutout to the chef. There were a lot of items on the menu I could have chosen. Before we left I enjoyed a Lavazza espresso that seemed very bitter and acidic so I didn't finish it but it looked pretty! Eddie was great so attentive and nice. When the bill came, we were confused because we had our subtotal, tax, and then a seven dollar service charge. We didn't understand if this was a tip or if we were still supposed to tip on this. I had to ask the woman who I originally approached. She explained that the service charge acts as a pool for everyone who works at the restaurant including management. I was still unsure if I was supposed to tip on top of that so I just gave a little extra. On the receipt it said "tip optional." I felt like that was kind of odd. Also, in regards to the payment, as Club Corp. members we are supposed to receive a 25% off discount, but said woman said that that specific clubs didn't honor that. Which is one of the reasons why we went. Overall, the food was good, the service was good, the environment was pretty good, but the payment thing was very weird.

If I could give the event coordinator, Dawn, 10 stars, I would do it. Dawn is not only knowledgeable, patient and friendly, she is also extremely organized and detailed oriented which is very important when putting together an important event such as a wedding or Sweet 16. The venue is so nice. Starting from the guard gates to the beautiful scenic drive up to the clubhouse. The view from the ballroom is spectacular! I love that there is a gathering room for cocktail hour prior to entering the main ball room. This place is perfect for a nice event.

I wanted to have my wedding here, due the fact my fiancé and I have golfed here many times. I've called the private event line and left a voicemail, and it's been over a week and haven't heard anything. I called a second time during business hours, and again. Not an answer, a response, or a call back. I'm very disappointed with the lack of communication and response. You would think they would want business due to the fact weddings are very expensive. It's sad because this was a very special place for us, but left us very disappointed

We had our wedding here in May. Not only is the venue and landscape beautiful--the event coordinators are outstanding. They have a new team on board - Ciera and Tracy. I worked mostly with Ciara and so grateful that I did. Not only were they flexible with my husbands difficult schedule, they were accommodating to my neurotic behavior. I honestly think I went there at least half a dozen times. Every person that worked there was so kind and catering to us during the wedding. When I ask for unique items, Ciera never made me feel awkward- it was the opposite she encouraged me to do what I wanted. I would highly recommend this venue.
