Cajun Crackin

First time trying this place and it is a small restaurant but has plenty of seating. It's seat yourself, so you just walk on in. The place is really nice, with the decor and style. The place didn't seem very busy and we were one of 3 tables at the time we arrived around 7pm on a Friday night. The server came right up as soon as we sat down and handed us menus and took or drink orders. She was just the sweetest and friendliest ever! We did notice the place start filling up throughout our time there and a ton of pick up orders were set up ready to be delivered. Must be the popular thing is to eat at home. Afterwards, I saw why lol. We got an order of the hush puppies which were so delicious! Mozzarella sticks were just your usual. For dinner I got The Boiling 1/2 lb snow crab legs with 1/2 lb of sausage. It comes with a potato and corn as well. I ordered it with the house special sauce medium heat. Best flavor I've had in a long time! The heat temp was perfect! She gave me gloves, a bib, a cracker and the shell splitter tool which was a huge help! The crab legs were hot and fresh and cracked easily. The sausage was also delicious with that sauce! My husband is not a huge seafood fan so he got the chicken tenders basket with Cajun fries and buffalo sauce for dipping. He said the buffalo sauce was so good he wanted to buy a bottle of it to take home, sadly they don't sell it by the bottle. It definitely made the chicken tenders. They also have a special going on for BOGO beer wine and seltzer drinks through end of the year. Overall, this place was excellent! Service was fantastic, food was delicious, atmosphere was nice. I give it a 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back!! (Or at least order pick up and eat at home due to the mess )

Finally stopped in to try Cajun Crackin! We got here on a Friday night around 7 and there wasn't many people in. It did start to pick up shortly after we arrived. The space is really nice and there is plenty of seating. It is a seat yourself restaurant and the staff are quick to come greet you with menus. I believe our waitress was Niya (pardon if I spelled and got the name wrong). She was amazing! She had such great energy and checked in us periodically! I love how the menu offers a variety of meals. This time I chose to get the hush puppies, French Kiss sushi, and I built my own boil bag and added 1/2 lb of Dungeness crab and 1/2 lb of Shrimp with no spice and the mix sauce. My fiancé ordered the combo #2 with the Cajun sauce at tongue torch spice. The hush puppies were really good! Nicely seasoned and perfectly crispy on the outside. The inside was a bit too mushy for my personal preference but enjoyable nonetheless. I did not really enjoy the French Kiss sushi. It had a citrus taste to it, and I personally don't like citrus flavors in my savory food. The seafood boil was okay. With the 1/2 lb I got one cluster of the Dungeness crab and about 10 shrimps. It also came with 2 corns and 2 potato's. The crab was good and the shrimp were really big but a bit overcooked for my liking. I took my potato skin off the potato because it didn't taste like it was cleaned. Still had that dirt potato taste to it. The sauce itself lacked flavor for me. It was supposed to be a mix of all the sauces, so the Cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper. I didn't really taste any of those flavors. I did taste my fiancés and it had flavor, but I mainly tasted cayenne pepper with the tongue torch spice level. They also have a buy one get one special on beer and wine until December! Overall, glad we stopped by. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu items. I really want to try their po boys and more sushi flavors.

Beyond disappointed. Ordered the shrimp boil and the shrimp was overcooked and had a rubbery consistency. Whatever. I ordered it and was going to eat it anyway. This was my first visit and asked to try a little cajun sauce on the side...just in case it was spicy; I didn't want it to ruin my bag. The check came and I was charged $5.50 for this small container of sauce. (This was not disclosed when I ordered nor was this sauce even worth the price I was charged.)Also, they have a sign on the tables that if you give them a 5 star review on Yelp or Google they will give you free food. Might want to take that into consideration when reading the 5 star reviews for this location. Anyway, I really wanted to like this place but the overcooked, rubbery food, the unexpected up-charge for a small cup of sauce, and the "bribery" for 5 star reviews ruined the experience for me. Never again :(

Soooo good , I was scared but we ate everythingggg . The garlic noodles were fire , the fries were crispy and the sauce was better than hot & juicy and 10/10

Nice addition to the North side of town. I called to make a reservation and glad we were able to get a table at the time we wanted. No reservation was needed. We were a table for 9, and since I did call in, they had a table ready for us. They were not busy at all, but later in the night when we were done eating, they did get a little busier. Service was meh. I ordered a glass of wine and she forgot about it. I walked up to the counter where they were standing and asked about my wine. If I'm not mistaken, buy one glass and get another free. Food:Garlic Noodles 1 lb Snow Crab with 1/2 order of sausage with Mild House Special Mild Sauce. The garlic noodles were delicious and cooked perfectly. I could eat a whole order for myself. The crab legs were also good. It wasn't overcooked. I wish I had added spice to it. Next time, I will. We all got our order, and unfortunately, one of our kids did not get his order, and he ordered chicken wings. We were almost done when he got his order. Overall, the sauce was delcious, and although service was meh, I'll return again, and hope service will be better.

ORDERED // TOGOCOMBO #1:Snow crab legs (1 cluster), 1/2 pound shrimp (no head), 1 corn, 1 potato, 1 boiled egg, and 3 pieces sausage. (House special sauce/Mild)OMG hands down NEW FAVORITE spot. The house special sauce was finger lickin' good. I don't eat seafood often, but for some reason I was craving for some seafood boil and I'm so glad I ordered from here.The sauce was so good, I ate it with rice so the sauce doesn't go to waste. The seafood was hot and juicy. I'm excited to take my family and friends here when they're in town. Highly recommend, would definitely order again.

Walked into this establishment and no one greets you. I stood at the front door for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. I placed an order online for pick up, the order should be ready my 7:46pm and it was not ready until 8:10pm! Terrible service and staff! Will not be returning at all! Save yourself the trouble and hassle and goSomewhere else!

We went to Cajun Crackin' today :)Let's start with the ambiance. The place had a lot of seating and it decorated with writing from people who's been there. I think that was nice having that touch. For the service, the staff was nice and attentive. Now on to the food, we ordered 1/2 pound shrimp and 1/2 pound crawfish, seaweed salad, and 6 count of fresh oysters. The oysters tasted ok. They didn't really taste all that fresh like they should. The salad was good. The boil could be better. The sauce could be more flavorful, and we also ordered our boil in medium heat and it did not taste like it had any spice added. Overall, I enjoyed my time here though the food could be better. I would say if you want seafood boil but also on a budget this is the place to go.

Good seafood boil and fries are good too. They sell lots of food and service is quick.
