Cafe De Manila

I had a great time at Cafe De Manila! My family and I were planing to eat at another restaurant closer to the strip but decided to stay close to where our family lives. We showed up and to our delight there were only a few people seated in the dining area. We ordered a nice large family style order. I liked all the food I tried with the exception of their Kare Kare, It was oily. While we waited for our food, both of my nephews were getting antsy sitting at the table. We saw they had a nicely decorated karaoke stage with music playing and a microphone. We got up on stage, sang some songs and by the time we were done the food was on the table. The ladies that served us were very nice and they even gave us a Puto assortment and other baked goods because we were celebrating my mother in laws birthday.

I've driven by this restaurant several times, so I finally decided to pick up dinner to go the other day.  It was very quiet when I walked in on a Thursday late afternoon (only one diner eating in).  I picked up the menu and decided on an order of Lechon Kawali and Pansit Palabok.  After a bit, my order was ready, and it took the order back home.When I opened the bag, I was disappointed that the order of lechon was in a very small container.  The lechon had been cooked so long, all the fat had been rendered out, leaving the remaining pieces too crunchy, like overcooked bacon.  Even with the sauce, the texture was too tough.  Good lechon has different textures: crispy skin, tender meat, and some fat on it.  But this only had overcooked meat.  The pansit was better, with large whole shrimp over the generous portion.  This did partially make up for the very sad protein.  Unfortunately, a Filipino restaurant that does not offer a good lechon is a no-go in my book, as I will not return here.

Came here on a whim. Dining area is clean and bright and very colorful. I imagine that this is a good space for large parties, as there's big tables, karaoke stage, and a set area for buffet and a bar. Service was friendly. Everything we ordered was extra crispy -- from the lumpia, to the lechon kawali, and the fried chicken. It was actually *too* crispy, and dare I say.. dry. The lechon was by no means tender or succulent. It was all crispy. The adobo fried rice had very skimpy slivers of adobo. Lumpia was deep fried and for me, the contents were unidentifiable. By the time the fried chicken came, the roof of my mouth was tender from all the crunching I had to do. Prices are reasonable, though the search must continue for our favorite Filipino place.

Had a bunch of family in town, and I needed a place that can seat 15 people. Cafe De Manila was very accomadating. They allowed me to order a catering package, which they set up buffet style. The staff were attentive and friendly. They made sure our drink pitchers were full. Another staff member was the dj so my guest could kareoke and line dance. Everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you, Cafe De Manila, for making a memorable event for my 81-year-old mother and her family.

After a good hike, we were hungry and excited to try a new Filipino restaurant. The staff were nice and quickly sat us. We stated with lumpia. It came with two dips that were good but the lumpia was too crispy hard and seemed almost burnt. Joel loves kare kare but the meat was tough and lacked flavor without much peanut butter sauce. I ordered a breakfast plate with garlic rice, longanisa, and eggs. The rice was really sticky and hard but had good flavor. The longanisa was tough and seemed recooked and old. We didn't finish our halo halo desert. There was stale rice crispys or cereal on top. The was zero flavor outside of the taro ice cream on top. The best thing I can say is that it looked pretty with an umbrella topper. There was a party later that day they were setting up for so we wondered if the food we had was leftovers or had sat out before being served. Maybe on a day with no parties the food would be fresher.

Came in for the Halo-Halo and ended up ordering more, after seeing the yummy menu. Looking forward to coming back for a sit down and trying out the other items in the menu. Friendly workers. Nice and spacious with plenty of seating. Small stage w karaoke/DJ setup. Ready for any party celebrations.

Ms. Jean was very warm and accommodating with her Filipino hospitality. She entertained us as we devour our sumptuous lunch. A truly unforgettable experience!

If you are looking for a place to party and have amazing food, Jean and Cafe de Manila is the place to go! Being from Missouri, Jean made planning my dad's surprise birthday party in Vegas so easy! She is very communicative and knowledgeable but more than anything, she knows how to keep the party rockin! She did dances with our guests and did a great job encouraging people to participate in games and getting out on the dance floor. Last but not least, the food is so good! Very authentic Filipino food. We had an all you can eat buffet. Our Filipino guests we very impressed and very satisfied. Thank you Cafe de Manila for making our party a memorable one!

I ordered crispy pata and pinakbet waited 30mins when we got the food the crispy pata is so hard its like eating a rubber band the pinakbet doesn't taste good at all i dont recommend this place at all -F

The serving is too small. I came for the sisig. It's not enough for one person and small portion of chopsuey. Also the staff is not attentive. I keep waiting on them to serve the food and the check. Not too friendly.
