"Where to begin? Let's start with some of the most scrumptious Mexican food I have ever had the pleasure of eating.Walking in to Milpa, we were greeted by friendly staff and asked if we needed any help deciding on what to order. The restaurant itself is not big at all but there seems to be enough tables to accommodate. The decor is bright and happy. Menu features both brunch and lunch items and the food selections are so creative. I had a hard time making a decision so I went with my gut.Since it was lunch time, I ordered the Beer Battered Fish Taco and the Shrimp Taco. WOW! Talk about flavorful! The tortillas were so fresh and I really enjoyed these tacos. Perusing the menu again, I plan to try the Blue Corn Pinole Pancakes next time I come in. "I used to be like a weekly regular here but the past couple times we've gone it's just gotten pretty bad. For the amount you pay here, the portions have gotten smaller. It was $36 for a two fish taco plate and asada plate. There was kinda a language barrier putting in the order for pickup. But that's totally fine. Just that I asked for no quac on my asada plate because I'm allergic to avocados but it was still put in my order. I was able to scrape it out and give it to my husband. Then we said no beans for both and sub for more rice, they didn't do that. You can look at my previous pictures and reviews. So for how much you're paying to not get what you asked for is pretty annoying. The flavors are still there. But even last time my asada fries were cooked in some really old ass oil. They were kinda black and had a burnt taste to them. I wanted to try the place again so I can see if it was just a one time occurrence but it's pretty much gone downhill. I understand the economy is wack and prices have been going up. But it's all about consistency. If you've been going somewhere years. Raise the prices due to the economy but don't change your consistency."

I'm not sure who makes them, but I would love to meet them because these are the best beans I've ever had in my life.I highly recommend takeout since it's a small restaurant that gets really busy. Placing your order in advance is the smartest thing to do. The young ladies at the front are kind and efficient--they have never messed up an order, and I'm surprised I didn't review them sooner!Their Azteca Fries, Azteca Tacos--anything Azteca is delicious. They have a bar with beer, wine and drink options including dirty cocktails, shots, and assorted spirits. The service is quick and friendly. I went for a chili cheese dog on a lobster roll. No lobster, just a split butter bun. I'm glad I added the lobster roll, it was a tasty addition. The chili was spicy and delicious. I skipped fries this time, the dog was plenty. They also have burritos, tacos and wings with lots of ways to upgrade. I think next time I'll try the LA cheesesteak or DUI dog."

I was greeted right away and decided to order the combo that has two rolled tacos, a bean tostada, and beef taco to go. I was given containers for the salsa bar and a bag for spicy carrots. They had three salsas available and I opted for the fresh tomato one and the green one. They were both really good when I used them on my food. The food was fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed the taco and rolled tacos. I will definitely be back to try more items off the menu. Tip: they have a happy hour where you can buy a combo and get a second one for half off."
