Robert S. "I stopped by Pho Mai Mai and was absolutely blown away by the food and the overall experience. They really make you feel like family here. The staff helped me pick some amazing dishes, and everything came out quickly and piping hot. The pho was hands down some of the best I've had in the area! The broth was perfectly seasoned. You can tell it's made with care and tradition. I ordered the vegetarian pho, and it was packed with fresh veggies and perfectly cooked noodles. The balance of flavors was spot-on.We also tried the crispy fried wontons and garlic chicken wings--both were absolutely delicious! The wontons were golden, crunchy and stuffed with creamy filling, and the wings were seasoned just right with a perfect kick of garlic and spice. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable spot with incredible Vietnamese food, Pho Mai Mai is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!"

Tia P. "We met our kids at Shang Artisan Noodles last weekend when we were all in Vegas coincidentally. Plenty of parking and no wait when we arrived. When we left however it looked like about 20 people in line ... so we lucked out. The tables are long shared tables with little stools. The service was quick and polite. My favorite part about the place is the windows into the kitchen so you can watch them make the hand pulled noodles. I think that young man must have very strong arms!My husband had the spicy beef noodles and I had the seafood noodles. We were both very happy with our meals. The noodles had great texture and the broth was so good. The prices were fair and the portions large. There's no way I could have finished mine. I'd go back. (My real score is a 4.5 ... def not a 4, but the 5 might be generous.)"

Courtney B. "My friend lived in Thailand, and I asked her, "So, how does Chaiya Thai" stack up to the food you ate while living there? She said, "It's identical!"My American tastebuds wouldn't know authentic, but they do no good taste, and Chaiya Thai is definitely tops in taste! My girlfriends and I indulged in Panang Curry, Garlic Fried Rice with chicken, and the Ribeye Basil Eggplant, as well as Pork Dumpling noodle soup-- with plenty of leftovers to spare!Standouts for me were the Garlic Fried Rice which had the perfect amount of garlic and buttery yum, and the Ribeye Basil Eggplant was the best it could possibly be-- I LOVE fried basil, perfectly cooked eggplant chunks and delicious and generous portions of steak combined with some veggies and a cozy warm black bean sauce, I could order this again and again! This is a small bistro, it doesn't have the ambience of a restaurant, so it definitely reminded me of "one of those NYC-like hole in the walls" where you come with good friends for a casual meal and chat. However, though small, there were plenty of folks at the other tables, and the conversations didn't create a din, so we didn't feel the cacophony of NYC-like chatter--- ahhh Vegas, so happy it's you, so happy we're all HERE! Chaiya Thai Bistro was perfect for us!"

Cindy H. "A must-go everytime I make my way to Vegas and craving hainanese chicken! Very homely cooked meal with no frills. The restaurant is a bit small so there will usually be a wait during peak hours for lunch/dinnertime. Service could feel rushed but food always comes out quick! Hainanese whole chicken $41 (5/5) - succulent and juicy organic chicken! The meat is tender and firm; tastier than your typical regular chicken. You'll never get a dry piece of chicken here. They masterfully debone the whole chicken for you which I truely appreciate. No more using your hands and gnawing away the meat around any bones! The dish is accompanied with fragrant chicken broth flavored rice, pickled daikon/carrot, and 3 sauces: chili, scallion/ginger, and sweet soy.Shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup $14.95 (5/5) - the dumplings are filled with pork and shrimp, and have a slight bounce in them. I like how the shrimp still has a slight crunch in texture (nothing is worse than a mushy shrimp dumpling). The noodles have a good chew and you can tell that they were handmade. Soup is light and clear, which is a good sign that there are no heavy oils or fat. Give this place a try for a quick, delicious, and healthy meal!"

The sashimi was very fresh, cut into good portions, and displayed nicely. It's not a very big place; 3 tables, 12 people can dine in. The owner seems nice as well. He smiled every time we glanced over. Would I be back? Maybe. Not sure. 2 Bento Boxes, 1 order of Sashimi was just over $70. A bit high for just lunch. A bit high for controlled portions in a compartmentalized bento box. 5-stars for the food, service and ambience. Pricing? A bit too high for what you get."

Even on busy nights there is lots of seating, so we usually don't have a problem. Their side pork is very tasty on its own!A couple things to mention that aren't worth taking off a star for: sometimes they close for random days, so it's a good idea to call before you go over there, just to make sure they are open. I'm also bummed they got rid of their delivery service. They used to have an in-house delivery service which was fast an efficient, but like most places, they outsourced it to Grubhub, where it's much more now, unfortunately."

Rainier F. "Magic Noodles has some of the best Chinese freshly hand pulled noodles I have ever had. The restaurant is based in Las Vegas in the Southwest area. For as long as we have been visiting this side of town, we finally got to try this spot. Our family was in town for Thanksgiving break. We arrived for a Sunday dinner. It is located in a nice shopping plaza where parking was plentiful. Since the restaurant is in the smaller side, the wait was about 35-40 minutes for us to get seated. You can see through the large window in the kitchen the workers are hand pulling the fresh noodles infront of their chest constantly. We ordered onion pancakes and 4 soup noodles with hand pulled noodles in each soup. My pork ribs noodle soup was savory and delicious. The wifey's beef brisket noodle soup was just as flavorful as mine. We both agreed they hit the spot after a brisk evening. The onion pancakes were light, fluffy, and tasty. Our server was friendly and accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Magic Noodles despite the wait. Now that we are aware of this gem, we will be back."

Fast forward to today and pretty much the same situation wanting lunch and def something tasty. We went with I Thai again for delivery. Both times I had the food directly from home I can't comment on service and what the restaurant looks like but take my word, the food is DELICIOUS, great portions, and really affordable pricing! 4/5 stars Chicken Pad Thai - full of flavor lots of chicken. Andrew S. "Chinese food is for sure one of my occasional guilty pleasures, and while generally I just get takeout from a place near my home, I decided it was time to try somewhere different.A quick Yelp search later, and I decide to order from Cook On Wok instead, and I can say I was very pleasantly surprised. I generally just get takeout because most times it is just me, and I like to get a couple of entrees and then get a few meals with a bit more variety. However, this looks like a nice little family run business that would be good for dining in as well. The food was excellent, and I will for sure come here again and try out some other items. The orange chicken was really good, and I also got the dinner sized BBQ sliced pork which was also excellent, both had lots of flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Yes - I realize those are some of the more unhealthy dishes, guilty pleasures as I said above and what I like to have first time trying somewhere new, but they have all the other standard favorites you would expect, including significantly healthier items and I look forward to trying more in the future.Portion sizes for takeout are generous too, I was able to get five good size meals out of two entrees with a side of fried rice (also good) and really that makes it decent value for money too. So yeah, I'm a fan and will be back!"

Ambiance- the restaurant itself is nice! I sat at the bar and was able to watch hockey and enjoy an ice cold beer.Food- This is where the average portion takes place. I ordered the arroz con polo. As you can see by the photo it doesn't look like the average arroz con pollo. The chicken and the rice was good. Could've used some more sauce. The part where it takes a dive is the vegetables, it felt like I was eaten a steamed frozen bag of vegetables. Not really what I have in mind alongside my chicken and rice. Quite mushy.Service- Service was great while sitting at the bar. Bar tenders were very friendly and helpful. Price- Quite high for what you get. 26.99 or so for most dishes. Be aware.Bottom Line- Go during happy hour as you get cheaper appetizers and 3 dollar beers. Chips, salsa, and bean dip were great. If I go back I will get something different and adjust this review accordingly."
